        Much contributions the women had rendered in American colonial age is reviewed in this thesis. One of the most and fundamental causes which had led the early American colonies into the successful future, was the landing of the white women who could stired up the strong will and vivid life of the early colonial men. Especially the 90 maiden's coming in 1619 was an epochmaking event. 28 Pilgrim Mothers became a solid but invisible basis of the colonial development as good companions of man. Their Biblical Covenant asumed as the principle of their lives in early colonies had been kept steadly by Pilgrim Mother's religious spirit and also it was transmitted to their descendants. Anne Hatchinson, female pioneer and contributer to American religious liberty, had never withdrawn from the fighting against the authorities by the Mass. colont's thearchy in early days. Despite of the few educational opportunities for women, several genius women cultivated their ablities with self-studies and tried to poen the doors for their equal education to men in 19th Century. Quaker contributed to the American religious liberty and equalrights of woman in Pennsylvania, where many female forerunners for the anti-slavery and women's movement rose in 19th century. Eliza Lucus sueceeded to culhvate lndigo from West-India in South Carolina, Chion became important exportation of colonial agriculture in specially revolutionary age. Women in revolutionary age supported the idea of new nation builders and exerted themselves in the interests of their ideals. In short, colonial women had been a potential and fundamental forces to the formation of American new civilization and new values. Women's faith and courage gave the double strengths to the strong arms of their husbands with a love and pride. The history and tradition of colonial America amde up so many heroes but did nothing except ill treatments to women. Such improper rewards for women in those days were mainly caused by the wanting of their self-consciousness as a human which could challenge to the traditions or social conditions. Such lack of due rewards to women in American colonial ages is regarded as the pre-historical conditions or situations from which american women's movement comes out in 19th century.

        Chronic eosinophilic pneumonia(CEP) is a rare disease of unknown etiology characterized by chronic infiltration of the lung with eosinophils. It presents with profound systemic symptoms comprising fever, night sweats, weight loss, dyspnea and blood eosinophilia with nonsegmental air-space consolidation confined to the outer third of the lung, the "photographic negative of pulmonary edema". Histopathologic features of chronic eosinophilic pneumonia are intraalveolar and interstitial infiltrations with eosinophils, histiocytes, giant cells, scattered lymphocytes and plasma cells. Glucocorticoid therapy cause prompt resolution of symptoms as well as disappearans of blood eosinophils, elevated serum Ig E levels and the roentgenographic lesions. Infrequent radiographic findings include nodular infiltrates, consolidations, cavitations, atelectasis and pleural effusions. Deaths from CEP although rare, have been reported, but the majorities of CEP have benign courses and do not need a therapy with ventilator. We report a case of chronic eosinophilic pneumonia, which had a sudden course associated with diffuse pneumonic consolidations on the both lung and bilateral pleural effusion.

      • 긴볼레기말의 항고지혈증 효과에 관한 연구 : Triton WR-1339 주사에 의한 고지혈증 유발 생쥐의 간세포내 지방 축적 감소를 중심으로 Based on the Decreasing Effect of Lipid Accumulation in Hepatocyte of Murine with Hyperlipidemia induced by Triton WR-1339

        본 연구는 긴볼레기말 추출물의 항고지혈증 효과를 조사하기 위해 ICR 생쥐에 TritonWR-1339(TX) 복강주사로 인위적인 고지혈증을 유발시킨 후 긴볼레기말 추출물(30㎎/㎏)를 복강주사하여 시간의 경과에 따른 간세포내에서의 지방 축적 변화를 조직화학적으로 관찰하였다. TX 주사후 그물구조의 세포질출 가진 간세포가 간엽 전체에서 관찰되었고, 일부 간소엽에서는 간세포 손상으로 인한 간세포판 소실이 나타났다. 또한 간세포내 지방축척도 증가하여 전체 간소엽의 간세포에서 지방의 과출현을 확인 할 수 있었고, 지방의 크기도 대조군에 비해 증가된 것으로 관찰되었다. 그러나 긴볼레기말 추출물 주사군에서는 그물구조의 세포질을 가진 간세포의 수가 TX 주사군에 비해 감소되었고, 대부분의 간소엽에서 정상적인 간세포판의 배열을 확인할 수 있었다. 간세포내의 지방 축적과 크기도 감소된 경향으로 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 해조류 긴볼레기말 추출물은 고지혈증이 유발된 생쥐 간세포 내에서의 과도한 지방축적을 감소시키는 항고지혈증 효과를 하는 것으로 사료된다. Hepatic tissues of ICR mouse were intraperitoneally injeced with Colpomenia bullosa(CB) Extract after Triton WR-1339(TX) injection were observed to investigate the antihyperlipermic effect of CB extract for hyperlipidemic hepatic tissue caused by destruction of lipid metabolism. The hepatic tissues were obtained at hour-24, 48, and 72 after TX injection with CB extract treatment. And then these specimen were fixed in 10% neutral buffer solution and were cryocut. The tissue stained by H&E for general morphology and sudan black B for lipid distribution. The increase of hepatocyte having rneshlike cytoplasm were shown in all hepatic lobules after TX injection and the hepatic plates were disappeared in the region of meshlike hepatocyte aggregation, But the hepatocyte having meshlike cytoplasm were disappeared and hapatic plate were rearranged in CB extract injected mouse. The number of blue black colored lipid drop in hepatic cytoplasm of mouse injected with TX were increased and the size of lipid drop were enlarged. But the number of lipid drop in hepatic cytoplasm of mouse treated CB extract were decreased and the size of lipid drop were diminished. As results indicated that the accumulation of lipid drop caused by TX injection were mitigated by the antihyperlipidermic effect of CB extract.

      • 連翹敗毒散加味方이 알러지성 접촉피비염에 미치는 影響 : DNCB 재노출부위의 생쥐 피부손상완화와 비만세포 분포 변화를 중심으로 Based on the mitigation of skin damage and distributive change of mast cell on DNCB re-expasure region of Mice

        본 실험은 連翹敗毒散加味方이 알러지성 접촉피부염 유발시 발생되는 면역과민반응과 염증반응 저해에 미치는 영향을 조사하기위해 행해진 것으로 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene(DNCB, 5% DNCB 25㎕로 감작, 7일경과 후 2.5% DNCB 5㎕로 유발) 처리로 알러지성 접촉피부염이 유발된 ICR계 암컷 생쥐에 連翹敗毒散加味方抽出物(0.51g/㎏/day)을 음용투여 한 다음 contact hypersensitivity assay, 피부의 일반적인 구조 그리고 비만세포의 분포 변화를 관찰하였다. Contact hypersensitivity assay의 결과, 連翹敗毒散加味方抽出物 투여군의 ear swelling이 DNCB군에 비해 유의성있게 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 알러지성 접촉피부염 유발 후 관찰되는 피부손상은 48시간에 제일 심한 것으로 관찰되었으나, 連翹敗毒散加味方抽出物 투여군에서는 DNCB군 비해 완화된 결과를 보였다. 連翹敗毒散加味方抽出物 투여군의 진피에서 림프구를 비롯한 염증관여세포의 이주와 혈관생성 그리고 표피내로의 림프구의 침윤 등이 감소되었고, 표피 기저층과 가시층세포에서는 세포질내 액포화와 세포사이 공간 확장도 줄어든 것으로 관찰되었다. 한편 알러지성 접촉피부염 유발 후 분포가 증가한 비만세포는 형태가 주로 세포내 함유물이 분비된 degranulated type로 나타났다. 이에 반해 連翹敗毒散加味方抽出物 투여군는 DNCB군에 비해 출현 비만세포'수가 일부 감소했고, 비만세포의 형태는 granulated t-ype였다. 또한 serotonin 면역조직화학적 염색결과로 連翹敗毒散加味方抽出物 투여군에서 se-rotonin 양성반응성이 높은 granulated type의 비만 세포가 주로 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 미루어 連翹敗毒散加味方抽出物은 알러지성 접촉피부염으로 유발된 피부 손상과 염증을 완화시키는 효과가 있는 것으로 사료된다. After allergic contact dermatitis elicitated by Dinitrochlorobenzene(DNCB) treatment, ICR female mice administered Yunkyopaedocksangamibang(YPGM) extract were observed to investigate the effect of YPGM on allergic contact dermatitis. This study investigated that contact hypersensitivity assay, abdominal skin morphologic changes including mast cells. At contact hypersensitivity assay, the right ear swelling in YPGM group were probability decrease than DNCB group. At obsevation of abdominal skin morphologic change, the infilteration of lymhocyte, lymphocyte insertion to epithelium, enlarged capillary, angiogenesis, and damages of epithelium as cytoplasmic vacuolation and enlarge of inter cellular space in YPGM were diminshed than DNCB group. The number of mast cell was increased both DNCB and YPGM group. The shape of mast cell in DNCB group was mainly appeared degranulated type, but granulated type in YPGM group. The number of serotonin positive cell was increased both DNCB and YPGM group. The shape of serotonin positive cell in DNCB group was mainly appeared degranuled type, but granulated type in YPGM group. As results indicated that the YPGM exrtact administration work on the mitigation of skin damages in mouse with allergic contact dermatitis.

      • Lipopolysaccharide 로 유발된 생쥐 무릎관절낭 염증에 관한 형태학적 연구 : 윤활관절막과 섬유관절막의 변화를 중심으로 Based on the Morphological Changes of Synovial Membrane and Fibrous Membrane

        본 연구는 관절염 유발시 일어나는 관절낭의 형태학적 변화를 조사하기위해 ljpopolysaccharide(LPS)주사로 인위적 관절낭 염증을 유발시킨 후 시간경과에 따른 윤활관절막과 섬유관절막의 형태 변화를 관찰하였다. BALB/C 암컷 생쥐 오른쪽 무릎관절낭에 LPS 300㎍/㎏를 주사한 후 3, 7 그리고 14일에 무릎관절을 얻었다. 무릎관절은 4주동안 EDTA용액에 탈회한 후 통상적 방법으로 paraffin에 포매하였다. 또한 윤활관절막의 미세구조변화는 embed812로 포매한 후 관찰하였다. LPS 주사후 관절연골 인접부위의 윤활관절막에서 시작된 세포과형성(hyperplasia)은 시간 경과후 전체 윤활관절막으로 확대되었다. 윤활관절막내의 미세구조의 변화로는 윤활포식세포(type 1)가 관절강내로의 많은 돌기(filopodia)를 내었고, 잘 발달된 과립형질내세망을 가지는 type 2 윤활분비세포의 숫적 증가가 보였다. 한편 LPS 주사후 섬유관절막에서 나타나는 형태학적 변화는 collagen fiber 생성에 의한 섬유화가 증가되며, 이러한 섬유화를 주도하는 섬유모세포의 이주증가파 관찰되었다. 또한 혈관 주위에서는 백혈구의 이주 증가가 나타났으며, 탈과립형(degranulated type) 비만세포가 많이 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 LPS 주사로 관절낭에서 염증이 유발되어 윤활관전막과 섬유관절막에서 형태학적 변화가 나타났다. 이러한 일련의 형태학적 변화는 발병초기 류마티스성 관절염에서 나타나는 병리학적 소건과 동일한 결과로서, 앞으로 진행될 치료제 개발과 유발기전에 관한 해석을 위한 in vivo 실험의 적절한 모델로 기여한 것으로 기대된다. Synovial joint of BALB/C mice were injeced with Lipopolysaccharide(LPS) were observed to investigate the morphological changes of synovial capsule caused by rheumatoid arthritis(RA). The RA on female Balb/c mice were induced by LPS injection, as dose of 300㎍/㎏, into synovial cavity of knee joint. And then these specimen were fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and were decalcificated in EDTA solution for 4 weeks. The hyperplasia of synovium were appeared in synovial membrane. The filopodia of phagocytic like synoviocyte(type Ⅰ synoviocyte) projected into synovial cavity and the number of fibroblast like synoviocyte(type Ⅱ synoviocyte) with well-developed endoplasmic reticulum were increased in synovium. In fibrous membrane, the fibrosis induced by synthesis of collagen fiber were enlarged to all fibrous membrane, and the number of fibroblast were increased. A great number of inflammation component cell as Iymphocyte and neutrophil leukocyte were infiltrated around capillary and the degranulate typed mast cell were increased. As results indicated that the hyperplasia of synovium induced by LPS, subsequently to cause the fibrosis, infiltration of imflammation component cell, and increase of degranulated type mast call as same as symptoms of RA.

        Pan-cancer Analysis of Tumor Mutational Burden and Homologous Recombination DNA Damage Repair Using Targeted Next-Generation Sequencing

        Purpose Current variability in methods for tumor mutational burden (TMB) estimation and reporting demonstrates the urgent need for a homogeneous TMB assessment approach. Here, we compared TMB distributions in different cancer types using two customized targeted panels commonly used in clinical practice. Materials and Methods TMB spectra of 295- and 1021-gene panels in multiple cancer types were compared using targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS). The TMB distributions across a diverse cohort of 2,332 cancer cases were then investigated for their associations with clinical features. Treatment response data were collected for 222 patients who received immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and their homologous recombination DNA damage repair (HR-DDR) and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression were additionally assessed and compared with the TMB and response rate. Results The median TMB between gene panels was similar despite a wide range in TMB values. The highest TMB was eight and 10 in patients with squamous cell carcinoma and esophageal carcinoma according to the classification of histopathology and cancer types, respectively. Twenty-three out of 103 patients (22.3%) were HR-DDR–positive and could benefit from ICI therapy; out of those 23 patients, seven patients had high TMB (p=0.004). Additionally, PD-L1 expression was not associated with TMB or treatment response among patients receiving ICIs. Conclusion Targeted NGS assays demonstrated the ability to evaluate TMB in pan-cancer samples as a tool to predict response to ICIs. In addition, TMB integrated with HR-DDR–positive status could be a significant biomarker for predicting ICI response in patients.

      • Fuzzy-EKF for the Mobile Robot Localization Using Ultrasonic Satellite

        Localization accuracy is a significant fundament for autonomous mobile robot navigation. In this paper, robot fuses the information from odometry and the ultrasonic satellite for localization. In order to improve the accuracy of localization, a Fuzzy-extended Kalman filter (Fuzzy-EKF) method is applied to avoid the robot using the large error data to update the position continuously. A weight scalar is designed to change the noise covariance by inputting the robot rotation angle, innovation and the measurement data variation into the fuzzy system. Therefore, the proportion of the system and measurement value changed, which decreases the robot state errors indirectly. The simulation results demonstrate the improved performance of the proposed Fuzzy-EKF method over the conventional EKF method.

        Event-triggered Pinning Bipartite Tracking Consensus of the Multi-agent System Subject to Input Saturation

        This paper focuses on the bipartite tracking consensus problem of the multi-agent system with cooperative-competitive interactions. In order to save resources, an event-triggered pinning scheme subjected to input saturation is designed. Suppose that the signed graph representing cooperative-competitive interactions is structurally balanced, and the initial states for the agents belong to the specified ellipsoid. By using Lyapunov theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques, some sufficient conditions are derived to ensure that the bipartite tracking consensus of the system under event-triggered pinning control can be achieved. Moreover, the bipartite tracking consensus of system with Lipschitz nonlinear dynamics is also investigated, and Zeno behavior can be excluded. Subsequently, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

        Fabrication and properties of machinable SiC/h-BN Nano-composites

        SiC/BN ceramic nano-composites powders were synthesized by an in-situ recation method and the composites were sintered by hot pressing in a N2 atmosphere. The microstructure, secondary phase and grain boundaries were characterized using a range of analytical techniques including TEM, SEM and XRD. The mechanical properties were determined, when the BN content is increaed because the nano-sized h-BN crystals were homogeneously dispersed around the SiC grains of the matrix, the fracture strength of the nano-composites decreased more slowly than that of the SiC/h-BN micro-composites, but the hardness of the composites decreased sharply and the machinability properites were improved noticeably.         Corrosion behavior and creepage discharze character for machinable AlN/h-BN ceramic composites

        AlN particles coated with nano-BN were synthesized. The AlN/BN ceramic composites were sintered by Plasma Active Sintering (PAS). Because the nano-BN crystals were homogeneously dispersed around the AlN grains of the matrix, the chemical corrosion resistance of AlN/nano-sized h-BN ceramic composites was higher than that of AlN/micro-sized h-BN ceramic composites and monolithic AlN ceramics. Due to the better hydrophobic property of h-BN, the AlN/BN composites had a better hydrophobic property than the monolithic AlN ceramic, at the same time, because of the homogeneous dispersion of the nano-BN, the creepage discharze voltage of AlN/nano-sized BN composites was the highest.
