이 연구는 파토스와 에로스의 의미와 개념을 고찰함으로써 무용에서 관객의 감정적 변화를 이끌어 내기 위한 예술가의 예술적 충동과 표현에 대해 고찰한 논문이다. 파토스의 개념은 많은 학자들에 의해서 다양한 의미로 조명되고 있으나, 아리스토텔레스는 파토스를 ‘괴로움과 즐거움’의 두 대립으로 구분하고 비극과 연관하여 관객의 감정을 불러일으켜 환기시키는 것을 중요시 했다. 반면 헤겔은 파토스를 인간의 영혼을 움직이는 보편적인 ‘힘’이라고 언급했고, 벨린스끼는 파토스를 ‘살아있는 열정’으로 보았다. 무용에서 무용수는 몸과 마음의 통합을 이루는 것이 상당히 중요하다. 몸은 파토스이며, 마음은 에로스라고 할 수 있으며, 마음은 무용수의 춤을 통하여 느끼게 되는 에로스의 욕망이고, 몸은 예술작품 속에서 무용수와 관객이 함께 지각하는 파토스의 대상이라고 할 것이다. 우리는 예술작품에서 몸(파토스)과 마음(에로스)의 통합 될 때 비로소 예술적 가치를 향상시킬 수 있으며, 무용수의 몸과 마음이 관객과 일치될때 예술 표현의 완전함을 경험하게 된다. 결론적으로 무용에서의 몸은 아름다움으로 승화되기 위한 에로스의 열망이며 영혼 안에 생기는 특별한 사고는 파토스가 의미하는 열정, 예술적 충동으로서의 살아있는 감정이라 할 것이다. 무용수의 창작 활동은 파토스의 힘과 열정에서 파토스적 표현과 충동으로 인간 영혼 속에 불타오르는 에로스의 욕망이며, 순수한 정신이고, 살아있는 정신적 에너지이다. This study examines the meaning and concept of Pathos and Eros to examine the artist's artistic impulse and expression to elicit an emotional change of the audience in dance. Aristotle divided Pathos into two oppositions of 'pain and pleasure', and especially placed importance on arousing and arousing the emotions of the audience in connection with tragedy. The body is Pathos and the mind is Eros, and the two are in line. In other words, the mind is the instinctive desire of eros felt through the dancer's dance, and the body is the instinctive desire of Pathos that the dancer and the audience perceive together in a work of art. We can improve artistic value only when the body (pathos) and mind (eros) are integrated in a work of art, and when the body and mind of the dancer and the audience are united, we experience perfection.
Xanthogranulomatous inflammation of the lower jaw bone: a rare case report

Xanthogranulomatous inflammation (XGI) is an uncommon type of chronic inflammation and is histologically characterized by foamy histiocytes and giant cells. The most common sites of occurrence are kidneys and gallbladder. The etiology remains controversial. Involvement of the lower jaw bone is rare. In this study, we report a case of XGI presenting in the lower jaw.

In this paper, we proposed a Collaborative Online Learning System named: COLLA, for providing learning about SPOC and learner's analysis. The proposed system was applied to a social networking service for interaction between the learners and teachers. We have logged all learners’ activities information within the system, thus, analyzing the learner's information using educational data mining techniques.

Poly-gamma-glutamic acid (γ-PGA) is a mucilaginous and biodegradable compound produced by Bacillus subtilis from fermented soybeans, and is found in the traditional Korean soy product, cheongkukjang. This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of γ-PGA from a food source on the concentration of the neurotransmitter GABA and its metabolic precursor glutamate in diet-induced obese rats. Eight-week old male Sprague-Dawley rats (n=60) were used. The rats were divided into two groups and obesity was induced by providing either a 10% control fat or 45% high fat diet for 5 weeks. The rats were then blocked into 6 groups and supplemented with a 0.1% γ-PGA diet for 4 weeks. After sacrifice, brain and serum GABA and glutamate concentrations were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorometric detection. The rats fed the high fat diet had significantly increased body weights. γ-PGA supplementation significantly increased serum concentrations of glutamate and GABA in the control fat diet groups while this effect was not found in the high fat groups. In the brain, glutamate concentrations were significantly higher in the γ-PGA supplemented groups both in rats fed the normal and high fat diets than in the no γ-PGA controls. GABA concentrations showed the same tendency. The results indicated that γ-PGA intake increased GABA concentrations in the serum and brain. However, the effects were not shown in obese rats.
levEffectiveness of Electroconvulsive Therapy Augmentation on Clozapine-Resistant Schizophrenia

Objective-This retrospective case series study of the effectiveness of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) augmentation on clozapine-resistant schizophrenia was conducted by EMR review. Methods-Clozapine-resistance was defined as persistent psychotic symptoms despite at least 12 weeks of clozapine administration with blood levels over 350 ng/mL in order to rule out pseudo-resistance. Seven in-patients who were taking clozapine and treated with ECT were selected. We analyzed the psychopathology and subscales changed by ECT. Results-The average number of ECT sessions was 13.4 (±4.6). Total Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) score was significantly reduced by 17.9 (±12.8) points (p=0.0384) on average, which represented a reduction of 25.5% (±14.3). 71.4% (5/7) of patients were identified as clinical remission, with at least a 20% reduction in PANSS score. PANSS reduction was associated with number of ECT sessions, stimulus level in the final session, and blood clozapine levels before ECT. However, the negative subscale on the PANSS were not reduced by ECT in any patient. We did not observe any persistent adverse cognitive effects. Conclusion-This study supports that ECT augmentation on clozapine-resistant schizophrenia reveals clinically effective and safe. Further research should be done involving a larger number of patients to investigate the effectiveness of clozapine/ECT combination therapy.
