Coulomb’s theory has been usually used in practice for design of retaining walls. This theory assumed that the lateral earth pressure was a triangular distribution, because the point of applying the thrust could not be abtained straightforward. However, the results of laboratory and filed tests proved that the lateral earth pressure was not a triangular distribution. In this study, for gravity walls with inclined backface, backfilled by c - ø soils with inclined surface, an analytical method for earth pressure has been derived. This method applied the flat arching concept and the Coulomb’s wedge, under drained condition, for the cases of considering tension crack. In addition, this paper is dealt with comparing the new analytical solution with existed theories for some cases.

Analysis of skin elasticity, Lifting, and tightening

The functional cosmetic products for anti-aging have been evaluated by skin wrinkle, elasticity, and lifting. Skin wrinkle calculate depth and volume as time passes through three-dimensional analysis of wrinkle replica and this way take long measurement time but conclusion data is simple. Elasticity and lifting is shown when retraction time is divided by same pressure and time. It takes short time in measurement and long time in analysis. This value is related with skin viscosity-elasticity, skin extension. Generally, increasing elasticity is connected with increasing viscosity-elasticity and retraction force but these values are not always direct proportion. In this experimental, we detected decreasing tendency of elasticity in product application on the instant while product with effective component apply in skin and tightening of skin is measured by elasticity probe (Dermalab., Cortex, Denmark). In product application on the instant (penetration point of time, about 10 min), elasticity was reduced than before application and experimental value is lower than placebo control`s value but the elasticity was increased greatly after thirty minutes. We thought that the results will be occurred by reaction of some factors. To solve these problems, we set up a hypothesis and we obtained same results with hypothesis. Hypothesis is following: the first, treatment group value minus placebo control group value leaves elasticity of efficient component only and it will be represent increasing curve. The second, treatment group value minus non-treatment value remains product phase only. It will be reduce after 10min. and will be evaluate later. In other words, when the product adding efficient components applies, skin elasticity is increasing on the whole but is decreasing at once applying. That means, the activity components is diminished because product phase is absorbed into skin and time and other factors such as viscosity, penetration, skin type etc. is affected skin until their efficacy show.

본고는 2009년 3월부터 진행해 온 한문 고전 『번역용례사전』 구축을 위한 연구의 중간성과를 소개하고 향후의 연구 방향을 점검하기 위한 것이다. 여기서는 조선 선조시기에 이루어진 교정청본 『論語諺解』와 율곡 이이가 언해한 『論語栗谷先生諺解』를 대상으로 그동안 연구에서 추출된 의미 있는 결과들을 소개하였다. 우리는 이 번역용례사전이 한문 원문에 문법적으로 접근함으로써 그 구조를 보다 쉽게 파악할 수 있게 하고, 조선시대 사대부들의 경전 해석과 그에 사용된 번역어를 통해 초학자의 학습과 전문 번역사의 번역어 구사에 도움이 되고, 특히 허사의 다양한 쓰임을 종합적으로 살필 수 있으며, 조선 사대부의 경학적 성과를 파악해 볼 수 있을 것이라는 기대를 갖는다. 그러나 두 종의 『논어언해』 모두가 자유로운 번역어를 구사하기보다는 가능한 원문을 훼손하지 않는 원천 언어 지향적인 번역을 했기 때문에 우리말 번역어가 상대적으로 빈약하며, 번역되지 않은 원문 그대로의 단어들이 많다는 점은 하나의 한계가 될 수 있을 것이다. 이 점은 보다 많은 자료를 종합하여 다양한 사례들을 통해 어느 정도 극복될 수 있을 것이며, 원문의 한자어를 그대로 쓰는 경우라도 두 책이 표현 방식을 달리하고 있는 점은 전문 번역사의 번역어 구사에 유연성을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. This paper aims to present the interim report about the study on the construction of 《Translation Example-based Dictionary》for Chinese classics which has been worked on since March of 2009 and to examine the research direction for the future. In this paper, the significant results drawn from the research up to now are reported on the edited Gyojeongcheong version of 《The Annotation of The Confucian Analects》, which was done during the era of King Seonjo of the Joseon Dynasty, and 《The Yulgok's Annotation of The Confucian Analects》annotated by Yulgok Yi Yi. We expect that this translation example-based dictionary with grammatical approach to original Chinese text allows easier comprehension of the structure, helps beginners to learn and professional translators to command translation words, enables us to comprehensively examine the various applications of function words, and lets us understand the achievements of noblemen of the Joseon Dynasty in the area of the study of Confucian classics. However, as both the two kinds of the annotation of the Confucian Analects pursued the original language oriented translation that destroys the original text as little as possible rather than commands liberated translation words, the Korean translation words are relatively scarce, and the fact that there are many original words which were not translated can be one of limitations. This will be overcome to a certain degree through various examples after putting more data together, and it seems even when the original Chinese characters were used as it were, the aspect that the two books used different ways of expression can provide the flexibility in the commanding of translation words for professional translators.

인천광역시 옹진군에 속한 서해 5도 중 한 곳인 연평도일대에 자생하는 관속식물들을 밝히고 주요 식물들을 파악하였다. 2010년 5월부터 2010년 10월까지 총 4차례 현지조사를 통해 밝혀진 소산식물은 90과 315속 459종 4아종 53변종 8품종의 524분류군으로 조사되었다. 이 중 한반도 고유종은 총 2분류군, 산림청 지정 한국 희귀식물은 8분류군이 조사되었다. 구계학적 특정식물은 Ⅴ등급이 2분류군, Ⅳ등급이 2분류군, Ⅲ등급이 4분류군, Ⅱ등급이 3분류군, Ⅰ등급에 27분류군 등 총 38분류군이 분포하고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 귀화식물은 총 66분류군으로 조사되었으며, 귀화율은 12.6%로 높게 나타났다. The vascular plants of Is. Yeonpyeongdo regions, located in Ongjin-gun, Incheon were surveyed from May to October 2010. The vascular plants collected 4 times were consisted of total 524 taxa; 90 families, 315 genera, 459 species, 4 subspecies, 53 varieties and 8 formas respectively. Among them, 2 taxa endemic species of Korea and 8 taxa of Korean rare plants were investigated in addition to 38 taxa of specially designated plants announced by the Ministry of Environment. The naturalized plants were 66 taxa, therefore naturalized ratio was12.6% highly.
