Aims: The purpose of this study was to evaluated the cumulative incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and death/liver transplantation in patients with inactive patients compared with HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients treated with NUCs (Nucleos[t]ide analogues). Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of data from 3,202 consecutive adult patients with non-cirrhotic CHB, inactive hepatitis (n=2,677) and HBeAg-negative hepatitis treated with NUCs, at tertiary referral hospital in Seoul, Korea, between January 2000 and December 2013. Data were collected from patients for median 5.4 years and analyzed by a multivariable Cox proportional hazards model for the entire cohort and for propensity score-matched cohort. Results: During the study period, 127(4.0%) developed HCC, 148(4.6%) died and 8 (0.2%) received transplantation. Multivariable analyses showed that compared with treated group, inactive hepatitis was associated with a significantly lower risk of HCC (hazard ratio [HR], 0.43; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.29-0.64; p<0.001), but a similar risk of death/transplantation (HR, 0.89; 95% CI, 0.58-1.37; p=0.61). The estimated annual incidence of HCC per 100 patient-years was 0.49% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.39-0.62%) for inactive hepatitis patients and 1.60% (95% CI: 1.20-2.11 %) for HBe-negative CHB hepatitis patients (HR: 3.36; 95% CI; 2.34-4.82; p<0.001). In the propensity score-matched cohort (480 Pairs), inactive hepatitis was associated with a significantly lower risk of HCC (HR, 0.56; 95% CI, 0.34-0.94; p=0.09) but a similar risk of death/transplantation (HR, 1.26; 95% CI, 0.74-2.12). During the follow-up period, the proportion of NUC treatment in inactive hepatitis was actually low (Estimated annual rate = 0.87%). Conclusions: Inactive hepatitis develop significantly fewer HCCs compared to HBeAg-negative CHB hepatitis treated with NUCs with similar biochemical and virologic profile. In the NUC era, inactive hepatitis could be still evaluated as stable enough in the area where genotype C is dominant. And a surveillance study at 6-month intervals would be necessary.

최근 지능형 교통 시스템 (ITS) 에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 ITS 응용을 지원해 줄 수 있는 차량 에드혹 네트워크 (VANET, Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network) 기술이 주요 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 특히 트랜스포트 계층에서는 종단간 신뢰성이 요구되는 ITS 응용들을 지원하기 위해 TCP를 적용할 필요가 있다. 하지만 VANET 환경에서 TCP는 혼잡 제어 기능의 오동작, 이동성에 의한 경로 재설정 오버헤드, 경쟁(contention) 등으로 인해 throughput을 불필요하게 감소시킬 수 있다. 따라서 VANET 환경에서 TCP성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 기법들에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기법들을 크게 혼잡 탐색 기법, cross-layer 기법으로 나누어 대표적인 두 가지 기법들을 각각 비교, 분석한다.
A Highly Linear and Efficient CMOS Power Amplifier With Cascode–Cascade Configuration

<P>This letter proposes a highly efficient CMOS linear power amplifier (PA) with cascode-cascade configuration. The proposed configuration improves AM-PM distortion through a capacitance variation compensation of the input capacitance of a common-gate stage in the main amplifier and a common-source stage of an auxiliary amplifier. In addition, the current consumption in the low-power region is significantly reduced structurally because the auxiliary amplifier is turned off. The PA is implemented in 0.18-mu m CMOS process with an output combining network in printed circuit board. It provides an average power of 24.5 dBm with a PAE of 45.6% for a long-term-evolution 10-MHz up-link signal with the ACLR(E)-UTRA of -30 dBc at 2 GHz.</P>

Rotating machines are using gears to change the rotary motion into the linear motion, on the other hand, linear motors have a accurate position control and excellent dynamic characteristics because of generating a thrust force directly. But the important problem, one of the linear motor is a high thrust force ripple. Thrust force ripple has a bad effect on the position accuracy and the dynamic characteristics, so it is necessary to reduce the thrust force ripple. Cogging is one of the cause that affect thrust force ripple. Cogging has some connection with the GCD between pole pitch and teeth pitch It is proposed method to reduce a thrust ripple of the linear motor that chamfering, skew, and so on. In this paper, the module phase set shift(MPSS) is used to reduce a thrust force ripple that has a similar effect to skew.
An Integrated Dual-Mode CMOS Power Amplifier With Linearizing Body Network

<P>A dual-mode radio frequency CMOS power amplifier (PA) for Internet of Things application is presented, which is integrated with the other circuits in a 55-nm bulk CMOS process. The low-power mode is achieved by reducing the number of turn-on power transistors, which are also used for linearization. The PA has a gain control scheme that functions by controlling the transconductance (gm) of the driver stage. A simple body network is introduced to common gate power transistors to improve the linearity of the PA. It is measured with 802.11n 64-quadrature-amplitude-modulation (MCS7) signal and shows a maximum average power of 16 dBm with a supply current of 222 mA under an error-vector-magnitude of -27 dB, which is packaged in a QFN 5 x 5 mm.</P>

Every theology is born in the setting of its own time and space. However, the Korean theological circle has not yet sufficiently produced its theological outcomes reflecting properly its own time and space. In this circumstance Byun Sun-Hwan is a representative Korean theologian who endeavored to unfold his own theolgy. The fact that his theolgy is called “the theology of religious liberation” means that he inherits critically religious theology and Minjung theology. This essay examined his theological characteristics centering on his four papers which contain ‘the doctrine of God’ and explored what it means to current Korean theological circles. It is the main point of this essay that his theology contains contemporary modernity, indigenous subjectivity, and universality of Minjung. Finally it is proposed that this characteristic can be not only a signpost for the Indigenous Theology or the Korean theology but also the direction which the theology should aim for
임베디드 시스템의 정확성 향상을 위한 클럭 주파수 검출기

In this paper, the frequency detector which detects the clock frequency of the embedded system is proposed and analyzed. The proposed frequency detector is consisted of filter and peak voltage detector. The clock signal is converted from square wave to triangular wave by the filter. The peak voltage of the triangular wave is determined according to the frequency response of filter. The peak voltage detector detects and holds the peak voltage of the signal. Moreover, the proposed clock frequency detector can detect the frequency within 1ms and it gives guarantee of real-time operation.

As electric scooters became a means of transportation, safety accidents also increased. Although a shared helmet service has been started, it is difficult to use the service due to many problems such as theft and hygiene. Even if you try to use a personal helmet, it is difficult to carry due to its large size. To solve this problem, a portable helmet is a personal helmet, which reduces the weight and size, but is unlikely to provide hygiene and safety functions. We take a survey from electric scooter users to define helmet problems and present helmets that meet the socially defined requirements for riding safety helmets. The method presented in this study is expected to improve hygiene and portability for users through partial personalization by separating the shell and lining of the helmet, and to increase the helmet wearing rate of users.
Study on Dynamic Body Bias Controls of RF CMOS Cascode Power Amplifier

<P>This letter presents a highly linear cascode CMOS power amplifier (PA) that uses dynamic body linearizers based on envelope signal injection to the bodies of the common source and common gate power transistors. The linearizers allow the PA to have optimum AM–AM and AM–PM, which reduces the nonlinear distortions significantly. The two-stage PA is fabricated using a 0.18- <TEX>$\mu \text{m}$</TEX> CMOS process with a printed circuit board output transformer. At 1.85 GHz, it delivers 27.7-dBm output power with 41.3% power added efficiency under a −33-dBc ACLR <TEX>$_{\textsf {E-UTRA}}$</TEX> and a 4.7% error vector magnitude using long term evolution (LTE) signal.</P>
