        12Cr 강의 화염경화 표면처리 층의 초음속 물방울 충격에 의한 손상 거동

        Water drop impact erosion properties of the 12Cr steel, currently used as nuclear steam turbine blade material, surface-hardened by the flame hardening process have been characterized. For this, variations of both the maximum erosion depth de,,,,ax and volume loss V with the cumulative impacts n at the supersonic impact velocity (~350 m/s) have been investigated for the as-received and flame-hardened 12Cr steels with different hardnesses. Typically all the samples showed an erosion-time characteristic involving the incubation period initially followed by the steady state period. It is also found that the d_(e,max) increases stepwise-like with the number of impacts n, which results from a sudden formation of craters by crack propagation. Compared to those for the as-received 12Cr steel, the flame-hardened ones showed an excellent resistance to water drop impact erosion with 2.2~2.8 times higher incubation time n, and 115~1/8 times lower erosion rate a. In the incubation period the as-received 12Cr steel was damaged by ductile depression and ploughing, while the flame-hardened 12Cr steel by fatigue cracks and brittle platelet deformation. Erosion in the steady state period was developed by the cleavage fracture commonly. (Received July 22, 2004)

        연속식 고정화 및 현탁 세포 생물 반응기에 의한 에탄올 생성중 지질 첨가 영향

        A one-stage, continuous-flow bioreactor with both immobilized and suspended cells was used to investigate the roles of lipid supplements in ethanol production by Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The reactor performance and the level of alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH) activities of the suspended cells, grown under various conditions, were measured. When ergosterol and/or oleic acid were added with surfactants to the yeast culture grown under non-aerated conditions, remarkable increases in ethanol production and cell growth was achieved, but specific ADH activities were not affected. Especially, no difference of specific ADH activities of the suspended cells grown under aerated and non-aerated condition was observed. The addition of the surfactant as a supplement also resulted in significant increases in ethanol production, cell growth, and specific ADH activity. When ergosterol and oleic acid were added to the yeast culture exposed to higher ethanol concentration($gt;40 g/ℓ) level, ethanol production, cell growth, and specific ADH activity were increased, but the addition of surfactant was as effective as at lower ethanol concentration level. $quot;the results indicated that lipid supplements were more effective at higher ethanol concentration level than at lower ethanol concentration level during ethanol production. ADH isozyme patterns of the yeast cultures grown under various conditions on starch gel electrophoresis showed only one major band, probably ADH I. The migrating distance of the major isozyme, however, varied slightly according to the culture conditions of the cells. No apparent correlation was found between specific ADH activity and amount of ethanol produced. Cell mass was more important factor for ethanol production than specific ADH activity of the cells.

        In this paper presents a Construction of Train control System for Demonstration line of Urban Maglev Program. In the construction of demonstration line for Urban Maglev Program, Korea Rail Network Authority is participating under its Research & Development, and as for the demonstration line's train control system is under progress for manufacture-design currently through the contract with the consortium of Daewoo Engineering and SK C&C on May 11, 2009. Particularly, this train control system purchasing project is the one aiming for the nation's first localization by domestic technology group led by domestic companies other than the one in which manufacturing and delivery of goods are done led by foreign companies. It is expected that this project could play a great role in launching into the projects at home and abroad, expecially overseas expansion by completely localizing the train control system through this demonstration line for Urban Maglev Program.

        우리말샘(개방형 한국어 지식 대사전)을 활용한 신어 연구

        국립국어원의 ‘우리말샘’이 개통된 이후 많은 연구자들이 관심을 가지기 시작했다. ‘우리말샘’은 기존의 사전들과 다르게 사용자가 직접 만들어 가는 사전이다. 사용자가 ‘우리말샘’에 표제어 등록 신청을 하면 감수자는 신청된 표제어를 감수하여 표제어로 확정 또는 탈락시킨다. ‘우리말샘’의 모든 자료들은 각통 통계로 제시되고 있으며 사용자 편의에 맞게 다양한 유형으로 가공하여 사용할 수도 있다. 본 연구는 ‘우리말샘’의 개통으로 연구 자료가 다양해졌음을 인지하고, ‘우리말샘’을 이용하여 신어를 추출, 분석하여 새로운 연구 방법으로 신어 연구가 가능함을 밝히는 것을 목표로 한다. ‘우리말샘’을 이용하여 신어를 추출하고 분석한 결과, 기존의 신어 연구 결과와는 다른 양상이 나타났다. 단어와 구의 비율, 품사의 비율에서 차이가 났으며 선정된 신어의 내용에서도 차이가 났다. 이는 기존의 신어 연구는 언론 매체를 이용하여 신어를 수집한 반면 ‘우리말샘’으로 추출한 신어는 사용자가 직접 등록한 자료를 바탕으로하여 더욱 다양한 신어를 수집할 수 있었기 때문이다. ‘우리말샘’은 개통된 지 얼마 되지 않았기 때문에 연구의 한계가 드러나기도 한다. 하지만 이를 보완하고 개선한다면 앞으로 ‘우리말샘’을 이용한 연구가 확대될 것으로 기대한다. Since the National Institute of the Korean Language introduced an open-type Korean language dictionary called Urimalsaem, a growing number of researchers have started to be interested in it. Contrary to other dictionaries, Urimalsaem allows users to participate in the creation of dictionary. When users apply for entry word registration, a person in charge will oversee the applied words and then decide whether the words will be fixed as entries or eliminated. All data of Urimalsaem are provided as all kinds of statistics and can be processed into a variety of types to meet a user’s expectation. The purpose of current study is to recognize that research data becomes diverse with the availability of Urimalsaem and to demonstrate that Urimalsaem makes it possible to conduct studies on neologism with a new study method. After researchers extracted and analyzed new words from Urimalsaem, distinctive research results came out. Compared to previous studies, there were differences in the ratio of word, phrase, and part of speech. The contents of selected new words turned out to be distinctive. This was because Urimalsaem made it possible to collect more diverse new words that users directly took part in the process of registration, whereas previous studies made use of mass media to collect new words. Since Urimalsaem has not been in use for a long time, the current study has limitations. However, if further studies improve and complement these shortcomings properly, studies with the use of Urimalsaem will develop in the future.

        Effects of Starvation in Rock Bream, Oplegnathus fasciatus and Olive Flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus

        We assessed the effects of various dietary conditions on the growth, phenotypic traits, and morphometric dimensions of rock bream, Oplegnathus fasciatus and on the morphometric dimensions of sectioned olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus. Rock bream in the fed group increased in body weight, standard length, and condition factor, but these parameters decreased significantly for fish in the starved group (P < 0.05). The head connection dimensions of fish in the fed group decreased, while for starved fish there was increase in external morphometric dimensions (P < 0.05). In both species, sectioned morphometric analysis revealed that fish in the fed group had a larger body circumference and cross-cut sectional area, and greater cross-cut section height, relative to the starved group (P < 0.05).

        Identification of Skeletal Deformities in Far Eastern Catfish, Silurus asotus under Indoor Aquaculture Condition

        For the 2 years of farming, at the indoor circulating aquaculture system, four kinds of skeletal deformities were found among 60 Far Eastern catfish, Silurus asotus. Deformities saw jawbone’s luxation, abnormality of upper lip and malocclusion. Spinal deformity was most fatal deformities with low weight and small length. Jawbone’s luxation had 1 maxilla and 2 mandibles. Abnormality of upper lip had just lip was back over. Malocclusion’s left maxilla and right maxilla were not balanced. This experiment was any deformities in this species through the deformity can grasp how it affects.

        12Cr 강의 이동 화염경화 공정 특성

        In this study, the movable flame hardening process of 12Cr steel for a uniform hardness and desirable residual stress have been investigated. For this, the temperature cycles have been controlled accurately as a function of the three processing variables, the flame intensity If, the scanning velocity Vs and the initial flame holding time th, where the standard surface temperature Ts, max was maintained at 960°C. The optimized conditions were Vs = 0.68 ㎜/s and th = 67 sec for the C₃H?:O₂ = 5:20 l/min, Vs = 0.80 ㎜/s and th= 56 sec for the C₃H?:O₂ = 6:24 l/min, Vs = 1.01 ㎜/s and th= 48 sec for the C₃H?:O₂= 7:28 l/min, and Vs = 1.15 ㎜/s and th= 39 sec for the C₃H?:O₂= 8:32 l/min. The optimally flame-hardened surface exhibited uniform distributions of the hardness and residual compressive stress over the treated area with moderate levels of 470~490HV0.2 in hardness and ?300~?450 MPa in residual stress, which were acceptable on the basis of the acceptance criteria of Siemens AG-KWU and GE Power Generation Engineering.
