Seventeen compounds derived from traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) were tested for their antiviral activity against porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) in vitro. Visualization with the cytopathologic effect (CPE) assay and the 3-(4, 5-dimethyithiazol- 2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide test were used to determine the 50% cytotoxic concentration (CC50) and 50% effective concentration (EC50) in cultured Marc-145 cells. Among the tested compounds, chlorogenic acid and scutellarin showed potential anti-PRRSV activity. The EC50 values were 270.8 ± 14.6 μg/ml and 28.21 ± 26.0 μg/ml and the selectivity indexes were >5.54 and 35.5, respectively. The time-of-addition and virucidal assay indicated that the anti-PRRSV activity of the two compounds could be due to their inhibiting the early stage of virus replication and/or inactivating the virus directly. The inhibition of the virus attachment was not observed in the adsorption inhibition assay. The inhibition ratios of chlorogenic acid and scutellarin were, respectively, 90.8% and 61.1% at the maximum non-cytotoxic concentrations. The results have provided a basis for further exploration of their antiviral properties and mechanisms in vivo. We believe that the chlorogenic acid and scutellarin have a great potential to be developed as new anti-PRRSV drugs for clinical application.
Coherent Population Transfer in a Three-Level System Driven by Unmatched Gaussian Pulses
Hong Guo,Dingan Han,Hong Jin Kong,Hui Sun,Xuzong Chen,Yanfeng Bai 한국물리학회 2004 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.45 No.2
The population transfer in a three-level system driven by unmatched Gaussian pulses is investigated. A set of time-dependent density matrix equations is solved numerically using the rotating wave approximation, and the solution shows that the population of the atomic level depends strongly on the pulse widths of the applied probe and coupling pulses. If the parameters are chosen appropriately, population can be transferred almost completely to the target state, which interacts with the pulse with the smaller pulse width.

An extracellular β-glucosidase from Aspergillus niger Au0847 was purified to homogeneity by precipitation with ammonium sulfate, anion exchange, and gel filtration. The purified protein was composed of two subunits with molecular masses of 110 and 120 kDa. Au0847 β-glucosidase exhibited relatively high thermostability and pH stability, and its highest activity was obtained at 65°C and pH 4.6, respectively. As a potential metalloprotein, its enzymatic activity was potently stimulated by manganese ion and DTT. The β-glucosidase displayed avid affinity and high catalytic efficiency for geniposide. Au0847 β-glucosidase has potential value as an industrial enzyme for the hydrolysis of geniposide to genipin.
A Novel Method of Protection of Monitor Link
Guo Hong-tao 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.1
Automation control systems demand high availability by providing its’ users with reliable and uninterrupted service. Traditional monitor system fails to provide reliable service due to lack of protection of monitor link. It also requires TCP/IP, X.25, E1 and other interfaces to realize monitoring channels such as setting monitored object, reporting status information of monitored call, reporting voice data of monitored call. The organization of the system is very complicated. Besides, some old devices can’t provide all the interfaces. Thus these old devices can’t have access to the lawful interception system. This paper presents a method to provide the ability of monitor link protection under abnormal circumstance. This method offers complete monitor link protection with fewer interfaces. According to the result of experiment and practical application in many countries, the availability and reliability of the interception system have been greatly improved by using this method.
Kinetic Transition During the Growth of Proeutectoid Ferrite in Fe-C-Mn-Si Quaternary Steel
Guo-Hong Zhang,Yoon-Uk Heo,Eun-Ju Song,서동우 대한금속·재료학회 2013 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.19 No.2
The kinetics of ferrite growth in Fe-0.1C-1.5Mn-0.94Si (mass pct) quaternary steel is investigated through the characterization of isothermal growth behavior, the thermodynamic prediction of kinetic boundary and the diffusional growth simulations using DICTRA. The change in microstructural evolution from slow growth to fast one is consistent with the calculated change of interface condition from the partitioning local equilibrium (PLE) to the negligible partitioning local equilibrium (NPLE). Compared with the DICTRA simulation, the observed growth kinetics of ferrite are between the calculated ones assuming local equilibrium (LE) and paraequilibrium (PE) criterions. At temperatures below the PLE/NPLE kinetic boundary, the observed growth behavior can be reasonably described by kinetic transition from PE to NPLE condition as isothermal time elapses, taking into account the critical velocity of interface at which trans-interface diffusion of subsitutional element permits the transition from PE to NPLE growth.

Model Driven Development (MDD) and Domain Specific Modeling (DSM) have been widely used in information system domains and achieved success in many open or in-house scenarios. But its application in the game domain is seldom and immature. In our research, we identified three issues that should be considered carefully in order to play the strength of MDD in the game development environment to a larger extend: 1) structured domain analysis should be done to assure the size and familiarity of the domain; 2) adapted process should be designed to save cost and support evolution; and 3) proper tools (especially language workbenches) should be evaluated and utilized to ease DSM tasks and accelerate iterations. In this paper, we explain these three issues and illustrate our solutions to them by presenting the development details (both technical and procedural) of one pervasive game case. We evaluate the gains and costs by involving MDD into the game development process. We reflect on the issues we have met, and discuss possible future works as well.

Pongamia pinnata (Linn.) Pierre has anti-inflammatory activity and could significantly decrease serum tumor necrosis factor-a and IL-10 in arthritic rats. Previous research indicated the typical chemical constituent in P. pinnata is furanoflavone. Guided by anti-inflammatory active assay and UPLC-HRESIMS chromatography, 22 compounds were isolated from the ethanol extract of P. pinnata seedpods. One novel furanoflavone, 40-hydroxypinnatin, was elucidated by HRESIMS, 1D- and 2D-NMR spectra. The 21 known compounds, including 9 furanoflavone, were identified by comparing their NMR data with the previous data in reference. In the known compounds, 5 were isolated for the first time from the species. The anti-inflammatory activities were assayed by assessing LPS-induced NO production in BV-2 cells. 12 compounds can inhibit the production of NO without cytotoxicity at concentration of 50 lM. Among them, compounds 4 can significantly inhibit the production of NO, with the IC50 value of 31.36 lM.

Glass-ceramic glazes have been prepared successfully via crystallization from blast-furnace slag (BFS), fly ash (FA) fluxed with potash feldspar and borax. The crystalline behavior of glass-ceramic glazes was investigated using differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetric analysis (DTA/TG), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Results revealed that the major crystalline phases are anorthite (CaAl2Si2O8) and akermanite (Ca2MgSi2O7) and crystalline phases disperse well in glassy phases with a uniform size of 1 μm. Glass-ceramic glazes possess low density, low water absorption, perfect stain resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance. The thermal expansion coefficient of glass-ceramic glazes is steady up to 800 oC with an average value of 7.2 × 10−6 /K. Final results suggest that BFS and FA have potential to be vitrified into economically and environmentally low-cost glass-ceramic glaze materials.
A 4th-Order Low-distortion Low-pass ΣΔ Modulator Using Timing-Sharing Technique
Hong-guo Zhang,Ji-bao Zhang,Ming-yuan Ren 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.8 No.9
A 4th-Order low-distortion low-pass ΣΔ modulator structure is proposed in this paper, which uses the timing-sharing between the 3rd and 4th integrators during one clock phase. Compared with conventional cascade of integrators with distributed feed-forward (CIFF) sigma-delta modulator structure, the proposed structure not only solves the critical timing issue for the quantizer and feedback DAC path, but also eliminates an extra active adder to sum up the input feed-forward. By methods of delay redistribution structure, the time for quantization and feedback dynamic element match (DEM) operation can be extended from a non-overlapping interval for a conventional low-distortion structure to half of the sampling clock period. Capacitive input feed-forward (CIF) methodology eliminates the adder in front of the quantizer. Further, the op-amp of the last integrator is used as an active adder by op-amp sharing. Therefore, the power consumption can be reduced and the linearity of the feedback DAC is improved because of the increasing time which used for implementation of DEM algorism. The proposed 4th-Order low-distortion low-pass ΣΔ modulator with 4-bit quantizer is simulated in MATLAB. From the simulation results, the proposed structure can achieve a peak SNR (signal- to-noise ratio) of 87dB with 2.5MHz bandwidth under 32 oversampling ratio at 160MHz sampling frequency and the ENOB of 14.234bits in non-ideal condition.
