Development and Experimental Study of a Redundant Hybrid Machine with Five-Face Milling Capability in One Setup

Fugui,Xie,Xin-Jun,Liu,Yanhua,Zhou 한국정밀공학회 2014 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol. No.

A hybrid milling machine with actuation redundancy is developed in the current paper. This machine is capable of five-face milling in one setup. A redundant parallel kinematic module (PKM) is proposed by the introduction of actuation redundancy. Based on this module, the hybrid mechanism of the machine is presented. A local minimized transmission index is proposed to evaluate the motion/force transmissibility of the redundant PKM. The finite element analysis (FEA) simulation is used in the mechanical design of the machine to verify the stiffness and frequency characteristics of the model. After the manufacture and assembly of the machine, experiments on stiffness, accuracy, and machining are carried out. The capability of five-face milling in one setup is verified, and the finished work piece has good surface quality.

Dietary Supplementation with Acanthopanax senticosus Extract Modulates Gut Microflora in Weaned Piglets

          Fugui,Yin,Yulong,Yin,Xiangfeng,Kong,Yulan,Liu,Qinghua,He,Tiejun,Li,Ruilin,Huang,Yongqing,Hou,Xugang,Shu,Liangxi,Tan,Lixiang,Chen,Jianhua,Gong,Sung,Woo,Kim,Guoyao,Wu 아세아·태평양축산학회 2008 Animal Bioscience Vol.21 No.9

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Acanthopanax senticosus extract (ASE) as a dietary additive on gut microflora in weaned piglets. A total of sixty pigs were weaned at 21 d of age (BW = 5.64±0.23 kg) and allocated on the basis of BW and litter to three dietary treatments in a randomized complete block design. The dietary treatments were: control group (basal diet), antibiotics group (basal diet+0.02% colistin), and ASE group (basal diet+0.1% ASE). On d 7, 14 and 28 after consuming the experimental diets, five piglets per group were sacrificed and then the contents from the jejunum, ileum and cecum were collected to determine changes in the microbial community by using a polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (PCR-DGGE) technique and estimating the contents of Lactobacillus and E. coli by in vitro culturing methods. The results showed that the ASE promoted the microflora diversity in the cecum. Enumeration of bacteria in the gut contents showed that the number of Lactobacillus increased (p<0.05), while that of E. coli decreased (p<0.05) when compared with the other 2 groups as the days of age progressed post-weaning. These findings suggested that the ASE, as a substitute for dietary antimicrobial products, could improve the development of the normal gut microflora and suppress bacterial pathogens, and effectively promote a healthy intestinal environment.

Origin of dolomitization in the Lower Cretaceous Bayanhua Group dolomitized rocks, Bayindulan Sag, Erlian Basin

          Fugui,He,Xianzhi,Gao,Xianzheng,Zhao,Huilai,Wang,Dexiang,Yang,Quan,Wang 한국지질과학협의회 2017 Geosciences Journal Vol.21 No.4

The Bayindulan Sag situated in Erlian Basin, northeast China, is characterized by pervasive dolomitization in Upper A4 Member to Lower T1 Member of Bayanhua Group. These stratum in the Lower Cretaceous Bayanhua Group were deposited in a lacustrine environments. The main objective of this study is to identify the origin of dolomitization and distribution model of dolomitized rocks. Based on petrographic examination, mud-crystal dolomites (<0.03 mm), silt-crystal dolomites (0.03–0.1 mm) and fine-crystal dolomites (0.1– 0.25 mm) have been observed, and the former two types were predominant. Meanwhile, only one type of dolomite have been defined: replacive dolomite. A variety of dolomite textures have also been observed, the major ones of them are scattered, blocky, joined and annular textures. These dolomites have strongly depleted oxygen isotopic values from –17.48‰ to –6.96‰ with the average of –10.48‰ (PDB), carbon isotopic values from 0.24‰ to 8.37‰ with the average of 5.39‰ (PDB). The obvious depletion of oxygen isotopic was presented as a result of the increase in temperature with progressive burial, and the high carbon isotopic content of dolomites maybe result from the involvement of CO2 in the dolomitization process. These CO2 were generated by bio-methanation which commonly took place in moderately deep burial environments. The Sr values from 62.4 ppm to 262 ppm as well as the Sr/Ba ratios from 0.24 to 0.76 in Tengyi Formation mudstones indicate the freshwater lacustrine sedimentary environments. Taking the petrographic and geochemical data into consideration, the conclusion that the dolomites have formed in a freshwater environments during deep burial depths at temperatures of at least 60 °C can be drawn. Petrographic observations and mineralogy analyses indicate that dolomitization is closely associated with tuffaceous materials, the Mg needed for the dolomitization is provided by dissolution of tuffaceous materials and dolomitization is most probably driven by tuffaceous materials alteration at elevated temperatures.

Prediction of exploration targets based on integrated analyses of source rock and simulated hydrocarbon migration direction: a case study from the gentle slope of Shulu Sag, Bohai Bay Basin, northern China

          Changqing,Ren,Fugui,He,Xianzhi,Gao,Dongsheng,Wu,Wenli,Yao,Jianzhang,Tian,Huiping,Guo,Yuanxin,Huang,Li,Wang,Han,Feng,Junwei,Li 한국지질과학협의회 2019 Geosciences Journal Vol.23 No.6

The Shulu Sag which is a rifted sag with NNE trend is located in the south of Jizhong Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, northern China. The gentle slope and three troughs are situated in the west and east of the sag, respectively. Both of the lower part of Shasan Member (Es3x) and the lower part of Shayi Member (Es1x) act as source rocks in this sag. Researches on the type, quantity, quality and thermal maturity of the respective organic matter have been conducted using Rock-Eval pyrolysis data. Type II is the dominant kerogen in Es1x of all troughs. However, Type II1 and III is the dominant kerogen in Es3x of Middle-Southern and Northern trough, respectively. TOC (total organic carbon) and pyrolysis S2 (hydrocarbon) values suggest that the Es1x source rocks in Middle-Southern and Northern trough are fair to good and poor to fair generative potential of hydrocarbon, separately. The Es3x source rocks in Middle-Southern and Northern trough possess fair to excellent and poor to fair generative potential of hydrocarbon, individually. Tmax (pyrolysis temperature at maximum S2) values indicate that most of Es3x samples are thermally mature, but all Es1x samples are thermally immature. Under large scale condition, the hydrocarbon secondary migration in the upper part of Shasan Member (Es3s), Shaer Member (Es2) and the upper part of Shayi Member (Es1s) have been simulated using fluid potential model with Arcgis 9.3 software. The simulation results reveal the direction of hydrocarbon secondary migration and the distribution of hydrocarbon migration-accumulation units (HMAUS), and also suggest that the hydrocarbon migration direction is obviously controlled by nose-like structure belts where most of hydrocarbons accumulate. That shows high reliability because they are consistent with the hydrocarbon exploration result in this area. On the basis of integrated analyses of source rocks and hydrocarbon migration direction, the following five areas in the gentle slope are identified to be the preferred hydrocarbon accumulation area: Taijiazhuang area, northern and southern Xicaogu area, as well as northern and southern Leijiazhuang area. It is considerably helpful to reduce the risk in hydrocarbon exploration of Shulu Sag.

Influence of Lubricant on the Properties of Poly(ether ether ketone) and Poly(ether ether ketone)/Carbon Fiber Composites

          Shuling,Zhang,Jianxin,Mu,Dianfu,Ren,Fugui,Zhou,Zhenhua,Jiang,Zhongwen,Wu,Guibin,Wang 한국고분자학회 2010 Macromolecular Research Vol.18 No.12

An improvement in the processability of poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) and PEEK/carbon fiber (PEEK/CF) composites with less influence on the other properties is important. A novel high temperature lubricant, GENIOPLAST PELLETS (GPPS), was used to decrease the melt viscosity of PEEK and PEEK/CF composites. PEEK/GPPS and PEEK/CF/GPPS compounds were characterized by dynamic rheometry, universal tester, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that a small amount of GPPS could decrease the melt viscosity of the compounds during processing, and improve the dispersion uniformity of the carbon fiber in the PEEK matrix, and further enhance the tensile strength of PEEK/CF composites, but have little effect the thermal stability of the compounds.

Preparation and Characterization of Hyperbranched Poly(ether ether ketone)s Suitable as Rheology Control Agents for Linear Poly(ether ether ketone)s

          Zhenhua,Jiang,Xiujie,Li,Shuling,Zhang,Fugui,Zhou,Jinhui,Pang,Chunfeng,Zhang,Dong,Sun,Jianxin,Mu,Guibin,Wang 한국고분자학회 2011 Macromolecular Research Vol.19 No.5

Hyperbranched poly(ether ether ketone)s (HPEEKs) that were suitable as rheology control agents for linear poly(ether ether ketone)s (LPEEKs) were first prepared via commercially available hydroquinone (A2 monomer,HQ) and synthesized 3,4',5-trifluoro-benzophenone (BB'2 monomer, TF) effortlessly. The polymerization mode of A2 + BB'2 was demonstrated by MS. Moreover, FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and 19F NMR spectroscopy revealed the structure and degree of branching (DB) of the resulting polymers. In comparison with A2 + B3 approach, HPEEK prepared using an A2 + BB'2 strategy possessed a higher molecular weight, and improved the melt processability of LPEEK. Remarkably, with the addition of HPEEK, the mechanical properties of LPEEK increased with a HPEEK content of 5%. The improved mechanical properties were attributed to the good miscibility. Moreover, the addition of HPEEK did not decrease the thermal stability of LPEEK.

Dietary Supplementation with Acanthopanax senticosus Extract Modulates Cellular and Humoral Immunity in Weaned Piglets

Kong,,Xiangfeng,Yin,,Yulong,Wu,,Guoyao,Liu,,Hejun,Yin,,Fugui,Li,,Tiejun,Huang,,Ruilin,Ruan,,Zheng,Xiong,,Hua,Deng,,Zeyuan,Xie,,Mingyong,Liao,,Yiping,Kim,,Sungwoo Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2007 Animal Bioscience Vol.20 No.9

This study was conducted to test the hypothesis that dietary supplementation with an herbal extract of Acanthopanax senticosus (AS) enhances the immune response in weaned piglets. Sixty piglets weaned at 21 days of age were randomly assigned to 3 treatment groups representing the addition of 0 or 1 g/kg of the AS extract or 0.2 g/kg of colistin (an antibiotic) to maize- and soybean meal-based diets (n = 20 per group). On days 7, 14 and 28 after initiation of the addition, total and differential counts of leucocytes, proliferating activity of peripheral lymphocytes, serum levels of immunoglobulins (Ig) and cytokines and the spleen index were determined. The AS extract decreased (p<0.05) the number of neutrophils on days 7 and 28 in comparison with the control group and reduced (p<0.05) serum interleukin-$1{\beta}$ level on day 28 compared with the other 2 groups. Dietary supplementation with the AS extract increased (p<0.05) the lymphocyte/leukocyte ratio on day 28 compared with the control group and increased the proliferating activity of lymphocytes on days 14 and 28 compared with the other 2 groups. The AS extract increased (p<0.05) the serum content of IgG on day 7 and of IgG and IgM on day 28 compared with the other 2 groups, as well as increasing the serum content of tumor necrosis factor on day 7 and spleen index on days 7 and 28 compared with the control group. Collectively, these findings suggest that the AS extract as a dietary additive enhances the cellular and humoral immune responses of weaned piglets by modulating the production of immunocytes, cytokines and antibodies.
