( Francois Xavier Bauduin ) 부산외국어대학교 지중해연구소 2013 The Mediterranean Review Vol.6 No.2
Since 2003 and the human cloning scandal, the Raelian movement, a small organization but one known all over the world, has been particularly active in the media, on the Internet and on the international stage. Their "Happiness Academy", organized in mid-summer in Slovenia in order to highlight the life of the movement, is a singular religious manifestation, bringing together Raelians from all over Europe around their prophet, Claude Vorilhon, alias Rael. First, this study analyses the results of a survey, conducted during this Raelian training in Lendava in 2010, and in Strunjan in 2011. It emphasizes all the efficiency of an Internet marketing strategy and the uniqueness of an event that represents both a relaxing holiday and a religious gathering. The researcher also questions the reasons for choosing these two sites and Slovenia from a transnational geographic, economic and juridical point of view (imprisonment for the act of "apology for human cloning" is practiced in some European countries like France). Second, the study focuses on the ephemeral, sacred side of the event but also on the originality of the experience and the practices that the Happiness Academy conducts, for example the sensual meditation and the worship rather subtly maintained around the "prophet" Rael and the Elohim (aliens supposed to have created the world). Finally, the researcher makes reference to the exploitation of the Internet by the Raelian movement, not only for the promotion of this event but also for an overall strategy based on the strengths of religious tourism (particularly when the organization targets states that could sell their land to build the embassy welcoming the Elohim when they come to earth).

본 논문은 누가복음과 사도행전의 연결 사건으로 누가가 왜 예수의 부활이나 오순절 사건을 선택하지 않고 예수의 승천기사를 선택했는지를 밝혀내 보는 것이다.
EXPLAINING THE PATTERN OF TRADE IN PRODUCER SERVICES
FRANCOIS, JOSEPH F. 한국국제경제학회 1993 International Economic Journal Vol.7 No.3
In this paper, I examine the pattern of U.S. trade in producer services, emphasizing the significance of two-way trade in services. Evidence is presented that the pattern of trade in producer services can be explained by some of the same factors used to explain the pattern of trade in goods. Viewed in the context of the recent literature on increasing returns and trade in services, the results presented here suggest gains from liberalization due to increased product differentiation and global specialization. Aeroelastic tailoring using crenellated skins-modelling and experiment
Francois, Guillaume,Cooper, Jonathan E.,Weaver, Paul M. Techno-Press 2017 Advances in aircraft and spacecraft science Vol.4 No.2
Aeroelastic performance controls wing shape in flight and its behaviour under manoeuvre and gust loads. Controlling the wing‟s aeroelastic performance can therefore offer weight and fuel savings. In this paper, the rib orientation and the crenellated skin concept are used to control wing deformation under aerodynamic load. The impact of varying the rib/crenellation orientation, the crenellation width and thickness on the tip twist, tip displacement, natural frequencies, flutter speed and gust response are investigated. Various wind-off and wind-on loads are considered through Finite Element modelling and experiments, using wings manufactured through polyamide laser sintering. It is shown that it is possible to influence the aeroelastic behaviour using the rib and crenellation orientation, e.g., flutter speed increased by up to 14.2% and gust loads alleviated by up to 6.4%. A reasonable comparison between numerical and experimental results was found.
The Aesthetics of Digital Photography in the Era of Meta-Data
Francois Soulages(프란소아즈 수라즈) 한국국제미술교육학회 2019 미술과 교육 Vol.20 No.2
With meta-data, the collection of information is automatic. A tension if not a contradiction then appears between the action of the photographer and the collection of data related to the production of images. Of course he has an increased access to data on a larger scope of issues, but before all, he steps into a new system: this is where the disruption, the tensions and contradictions are at their peak. Whether for the without-art photographer or the one who is aiming for art to the extent that the whole field of art is changed: the technological disruption brings about an artistic disruption, and therefore an esthetical one. In the era of meta-data, an esthetics of a digital connected photography emerges though the theoretical matrix of the esthetics of photography remains the founding principles but this esthetics considerably widens its scope, dealing with new problems―related to contemporary art, technology, connectivity, the body and to the sociopolitical: crucial issues are at stake! It is a new theory both for a new screen and for a new world because a systemic revolution is underway leading to what Foucault labelled half a century ago as a new epistémé. The same goes from our being to the world and to transition from our being-here in its daily and ordinary commonplace to a being-into-the-world, to a being-nearby-the-world and therefore, to a temporal being from which the native temporality temporalize itself according to three directions or three ecstasies: native present, native past and native future. Then, a game of art and of man is possible where photography and meta-data play a crucial role, such as with Adrian Flury.
