Various impacts of consumer's decision making process in purchasing of product can be identified by brain wave technology of methodology in neuroscience to make a knowledge of packaging marketing. “Power spectrum analysis method” is an analysis method to figure out the proportion of oscillating component in brain wave quantitatively what has been measured. Relative proportion of oscillating component in all area named “Relative Power”. In this EEG study, the Relative alpha values significantly increased during decision making in purchasing of vitamin water packaging. According to power spectrum analysis, “color” is the most influential element among packaging elements. In the prefrontal region, we could confirm the correlation of each packaging element except the correlation between color and shape. Through this research it should be applied not only beverage packaging like vitamin water packaging but also various packaging and seems to be able to increase the marketing utilization of more scientific and quantitative packaging research.
Direct Duty-ratio Modulated Fault-tolerant Strategy for Matrix Converter-fed Motor Drives
Li, Yulong,Choi, Nam-Sup,Han, Byung-Moon,Nho, Eui-Cheol The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2012 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.12 No.1
Direct duty-ratio PWM schemes for continuous fault tolerant operation of matrix converter-fed motor drives are presented. The proposed method features simple modular modulation structure based on per output phase concept, which requires no additional modification on the normal modulation schemes for fault-tolerant applications. Realizations of fault-tolerant strategy applied to different system configurations are also treated to enhance the system flexibility. The proposed method can be effectively applied to treat the motor open phase fault and converter switching device failure. Simulation and experimental results show the feasibility and validation of the proposed strategies.

The present study was investigated the effect of Houttuynia cordata THUNB water extract (HCWE) on mast cell-mediated anaphylactic reactions. The mast cell-mediated anaphylactic reaction is involved in many allergic diseases such as asthma and allergic rhinitis. HCWE has been used as a traditional medicine in Korea and is known to have an antioxidant and anti-cancer activities. However, its specific effect of mast cell-mediated anaphylactic reactions is still unknown. We examined whether HCWE could inhibit compound 48/80-induced systemic anaphylaxis, IgE-mediated passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA), and mast cell activation. The oral administration of HCWE inhibited compound 48/80-induced systemic anaphylaxis in mice. HCWE also inhibited the local allergic reaction, PCA, activated by anti-dinitrophenyl (DNP) IgE antibody in rats. HCWE reduced the compound 48/80-induced mast cell degranulation and colchicine-induced deformation of rat peritoneal mast cells (RPMC). Moreover, HCWE dose-dependently inhibited histamine release and calcium uptake of RPMC induced by compound 48/80 or anti-DNP IgE. HCWE increased the level of intracellular cAMP and inhibited significantly the compound 48/80-induced cAMP reduction in RPMC. These results suggest that HCWE may be beneficial in the treatment of mast cell-mediated anaphylactic responses.
