A mobile three-dimensional image acquisition and reconstruction system using a computer-generated integral imaging technique is proposed. A depth camera connected to the mobile device acquires the color and depth data of a real object simultaneously, and an elemental image array is generated based on the original three-dimensional information for the object, with lens array specifications input into the mobile device. The three-dimensional visualization of the real object is reconstructed on the mobile display through optical or digital reconstruction methods. The proposed system is implemented successfully and the experimental results certify that the system is an effective and interesting method of displaying real three-dimensional content on a mobile device.(C) 2017 Optical Society of America

A Design of Monitoring Information Service for Living Environment Based on Maps
Erdenebat Bayarmagnai,Do-Hyeun Kim 한국멀티미디어학회 2011 한국멀티미디어학회 국제학술대회 Vol.2011 No.-
Recently, SenserWeb has being used a lot for monitoring facilities and environment, traffic state, and accident. And this provides information of these situations from sensors which installed on artifacts. Therefore, in this paper, we design living environment monitoring service using SenserWeb concepts. This service supports monitoring a situation of household waste. We create sensor nodes on a map and are shown its life environment context data on a screen by selection. Using this service, we can know quickly the situation of waste disposal in living environment and are able to clear a living environment.
Foreign Direct Investment in the Mongolian Mining Sector
Erdenebat Mungunzul,Taikoo Chang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.9 No.3
Attraction to foreign investment in Mongolia’s economy has become a key factor in Mongolia’s development. Mongolia has a small population, especially in comparison to some other “tiger” economies. There is a large population emerging into a wealthier class, which is expected to increase consumption. Mongolia is geographically the 19th largest country in the world and has many natural resources. This paper diagnoses the Mongolian mining sector and identifies its problems, constraints, growth, and increased contributions to the national economy. The paper also addresses FDI trends in the mining sector in Mongolia in comparison to FDI in mining in developing countries and their processes, advantages, and government policies.

We propose a 360?degree integral-floating display with an enhanced vertical viewing angle. The system projects two-dimensional elemental image arrays via a high-speed digital micromirror device projector and reconstructs them into 3D perspectives with a lens array. Double floating lenses relate initial 3D perspectives to the center of a vertically curved convex mirror. The anamorphic optic system tailors the initial 3D perspectives horizontally and vertically disperse light rays more widely. By the proposed method, the entire 3D image provides both monocular and binocular depth cues, a full-parallax demonstration with high-angular ray density and an enhanced vertical viewing angle.

Is the recent low oil price attributable to the shale revolution?
Bataa, Erdenebat,Park, Cheolbeom Elsevier 2017 ENERGY ECONOMICS Vol.67 No.-

Abstract

The U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates that approximately 52% of total U.S. crude oil was produced from shale oil resources in 2015. We examine whether the recent low crude oil price is attributable to this shale revolution in the U.S., using a SVAR model with structural breaks. Our results reveal that U.S. supply shocks are important drivers of real oil price and, for example, explain approximately a quarter of the 73% decline between June 2014 and February 2016. Failure to consider statistically significant structural changes results in underestimating the role played by global supply shocks, while overestimating the role of the demand shocks.

Highlights

Significant break for the mean of the U.S. oil production growth in 2002

Structural changes in dynamic coefficients and volatilities in the SVAR model

Historical decomposition and impulse response exercises show a critical role of U.S. supply shock in movements in the real oil price.

Integral-floating Display with 360 Degree Horizontal Viewing Angle

A three-dimensional integral-floating display with 360 degree horizontal viewing angle is proposed. A lens array integrates two-dimensional elemental images projected by a digital micro-mirror device, reconstructing three-dimensional images. The three-dimensional images are then relayed to a mirror via double floating lenses. The mirror rotates in synchronization with the digital micro-mirror device to direct the relayed three-dimensional images to corresponding horizontal directions. By combining integral imaging and the rotating mirror scheme, the proposed method displays full-parallax three-dimensional images with 360 degree horizontal viewing angle.

An enhanced 360-degree integral-floating three-dimensional display system using a hexagonal lens array and a hidden point removal operator is proposed. Only the visible points of the chosen three-dimensional point cloud model are detected by the hidden point removal operator for each rotating step of the anamorphic optics system, and elemental image arrays are generated for the detected visible points from the corresponding viewpoint. Each elemental image of the elemental image array is generated by a hexagonal grid, due to being captured through a hexagonal lens array. The hidden point removal operator eliminates the overlap problem of points in front and behind, and the hexagonal lens array captures the elemental image arrays with more accurate approximation, so in the end the quality of the displayed image is improved. In an experiment, an anamorphic-optics-system-based 360-degree integral-floating display with improved image quality is demonstrated.
