      • Sub-ordering 개념을 이용한 다변수 수리 형태학

        Two methods (separate component operation and multi-variate morphology) are proposed to provide mathematical morphology for multi-variate signals. The multi-variate morphology is defined by introducing umbra and top-surface of multi-variate signal, which is defined by using the concept of sub-ordering, to extend definitions of set-theoretical operations. Experimental results to show the difference between two methods and the necessity of multi-variate morphology are also provided.

        It is claimed that the morphological open­close filtering would be mainly addressing noise suppression with minimum discontinuity distortion. Consequently the minimum blur morphological edge detector with open­close pre­processing filter is proposed with some theoretical background. Various experiments for selecting the size, height, and shape of structuring function used in open­close filter are performed. According to the experimental results, a guideline to select structuring function is provided. The proposed algorithm could perform well in the situation where background of the image is to be suppressed as much as possible, and the object of the image is required to be preserved. Experimental results show that the algorithm is promising. As further research finding tighter relationship between structuring function and threshold level is needed.

        Goldman's Algorithm을 이용한 비외상성 흉통 환자의 분석

        Back ground : It is important to evaluate the patient presenting with non-traumatic chest pain in emergency department, and it is also difficult to classify appropriately. The purpose of this study is to predict probability of acute myocardial infarction(AMI) and assess the group for low probability of AMI that is target for observation-unit of chest pain in emergency department. Methods : A prospective, clinical study was performed from March 1998 to August 1998 at the department of emergency medicine, Ewha Womans University Mokdong hospital. We classified high-probability group and low-probability group of AMI according to Goldman's algorithm and then compared with the final diagnosis. Results : The study included 218 patients. 84 patients(39%) was the high-probability group and 134 patients(61%) was the low-probability group of AMI. As compared with final diagnosis, AMI was 47 patients(56%) among the high-probability group and 1 patient(0.7%) among the low-probability group. We observed sensitivity of 98%, specificity of 78% in predicting AMI. Conclusion : The classification according to Goldman's algorithm may be useful predictor of AMI and improve triage for emergency department patients with chest pain. It is also helpful for management of observation-unit of chest pain in emergency department.

        주요 식이섬유질원이 첨가된 식이가 노화 흰쥐의 장내효소 및 유해산물에 미치는 영향

        한국에서 주로 섭취되고 있는 주요 식이섬유질원으로서 장내 유익균의 생육을 촉진한다고 알려진 사과, 미역, 쑥, 머위를 천연 형태로 건조분말화하여 식이내에 5%, 15%가 되게 첨가한 후 노화가 진행된 흰쥐에게 4주간 급여하였다. 그 결과 β-glucuronidase는 셀를로스군과 미역 15% 첨가군에서 가장 낮은 활성을 나타냈으며 β-glucuronidase의 경우는 쑥 15% 첨가군에서 유의적으로 현저한 증가를 보였다. 부패산물인 인돌 함량 변화는 쑥 섭취군에서 현저하게 낮은 경향을 보여 β-glucuronidase와는 다른 양상을 보였다. 수분함량은 미역섭취군과 쑥5%, 머위15% 섭취군에서 높았으며 pH는 쑥 15% 섭취군이 가장 낮은 값을 보여주었다. 쑥 15% 섭취군이 장내균총 조성을 개선시킬 수 있을 것으로 보고되어 그 유의성을 밝히고자 하였으나 본 실험에서는 부패산물, 유해효소등과 장내균총의 조성과의 뚜렷한 관계는 발견하지 못하였다. This study was performed to investigate the influence of various dietary fiber sources in Korea for activities of bacterial enzymes (β-glucosidase, β-glucuronidase) and amounts of putrefactive product (indole) in aged rats β-Glucosidase activity in the intestinal content was significantly lower in the sea mustard 15% group than in other groups whereas the activity of β-glucuronidase was higher in the mugwort 15% group than other experimental groups. The amount of indole and pH in the intestinal content of aged rats were significantly lower in mugwort groups than in other groups.

        꿩육수와 콩즙을 첨가한 배추김치의 품질특성

        Application of pheasant and soybean extracts to improve the quality of baechu kimchi was attempted. Pheasant and soybean extracts at various combinatory concentrations were added into baechu kimchi and fermented for 24 days at 10℃. Assay was performed on salinity, acidity, bacterial growth, sensory evaluations, and physical properties. The pH decreased, and acidity increased by fermentation time. The optimum pH 4.2 was reached within 12?15 days, and optimum acidity was reached within 6~9 days. The number of lactic acid bacteria was increased by fermentation time. Score of intensity characteristics in color, crispness, carbonated taste, and overall quality were higher for the pheasant and soybean extracts added baechu kimchi(B) than for the control product(S). The result of L and a value of baechu kimchi were higher in treatment than in control as fermentation time increased. The hardness of baechu kimchi with pheasant and soybean extracts(B) were higher than those of control(S).

        노화 흰쥐의 장 내 균총 조성에 대한 식이섬유질원의 영향

        한국인이 섭취하는 식이섬유질원중 장내 균총의 개선에 효과가 있을 것이라고 탐색된 사과, 머위, 미역, 쑥을 건조분말화하여 식이섬유의 함량이 식이량의 5%와 15%가 되도록 첨가시켜 제조한 식이를 12개월된 노화쥐에 4주간 급여한 후, 이들의 대장내용물로부터 총균수와 주요 장내미생물의 생균수를 측정하였다. 노화쥐에서 4종류의 식이섬유질원을 섭취시킨 결과 총균수와 Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus의 수는 각 실험군간에 유의적인 차이를 보여주지 못했으나 장내 우세균중 Peptococcaceae는 사과 5% 시험군이 타실험군에 비해 유의적으로 많은 경향을 보였고, Streptococcus는 쑥 15% 섭취군에서만 타실험군에 비해 유의적으로 적은 경향을 보였다. 일반적으로 쥐에게는 나타나지 않는다고 보고되었던 Cl. perfringens가 노화가 진행된 흰쥐에게 나타났으며 Clostridium속균은 사과 5%에서 유의적으로 많은 경향을 보였다. 5% 식이섬유 첨가군이 15% 첨가군에 비해 유의적으로 많은 경향을 보였다. Staphylococcus는 섬유질원이 첨가된 모든 실험군들이 셀룰로즈 첨가군보다 더 적은 경향을 보였다. 이들 결과를 종합해 보면 본 실험에 사용된 실험군에서 쑥 15% 섭취군이 장내 균총 개선의 측면에서 효과적인 식이섬유질원으로 판단된다. This study was performed to investigate the influence of various dietary fiber sources such as mugwort, apple, sea mustard, butterbur on the intestinal microflora in aged rats. Nine groups of aged rats (12months after weanling) were fed each experimental diet containing 5% and 15% dietary fibers for 4 weeks. The contents in large intestine of aged rats used for the measurement of intestinal microflora. Total viable counts and numbers of Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Clostridium, E. coli and Staphylococcus were determined by nonselective medium and various selective media. The intake of dietary fiber sources employed did not show any difference in the number of total microorganisms, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. It was remarkable that Clostridium perfringens appeared in the colon of aged rats. The populations of Peptococcus and Clostridium were significantly larger in the apple 5% group than in other dietary fiber groups while the number of Staphylococcus was significantly smaller in the dietary fiber groups than in cellulose groups. And the Streptococcus populations decreased in the mugwort 15% group. Accordingly, the mugwort 15% group is effective in improving intestinal flora of aged rats.

      • 연속 추정기법을 이용한 적응능동 소음제어

        A promising active noise control strategy, which is described, uses the LMS algorithm for adaptive digital signal processing. To work reliably it has to have a model of an acoustic transfer function of the environment in which it operates. Another LMS algorithm is used to identify this transfer function. The problems associated with carrying out this identification process continuously so as to track changes in the transfer function are investigated by means of a computer simulation. One configuration for such a system is presented along with results of simulations. Robust continuos identification system was presented which varied its level of identification signal (pseudo-noise) in response to the amount of identification error produced. In addition it switched off its identfication process once the error had been sufficiently reduced.
