The paper presents a monitoring system for the cooling of distribution transformers. The suggested system is controlled by a microcontroller scheme. The system is designed to control the oil temperature. It gives a solution to improve the cooling system by adding a number of fans especially for indoor transformers that are placed in badly-ventilated rooms. Also, the paper includes an alarm system with the possibility of tripping the transformer if it is necessary. The monitoring system consists of acquisition temperature sensor, and on-site unit. The hardware and software of the on-site unit are demonstrated with sufficient illustrations. Small prototype is constructed in the laboratory. Some laboratory experiments are carried out for examining the designed circuit by using Proteus Virtual System Modeling as well as for testing the prototype monitoring system. Concerning this research point, a study is carried out to evaluate the economic feasibility. The results are recorded and associated with many recommendations that may be valuable to electrical distribution (utility) companies.

Twelve actinomycete strains were isolated from Egyptian soil. The isolated actinomycete strains were then screened with regard to their potential to generate antibiotics. The most potent of the producer strains was selected and identified. The cultural and physiological characteristics of the strain identified. the strain as a member of the genus Streptomyces. The nucleotide sequence of the 16S rRNA gene (1.5kb) of the most potent strain evidenced a 99% similarity with Streptomyces spp. and S. aureofaciens 16S rRNA genes, and the isolated strain was ultimately identified as Streptomyces sp. MAR01. The extraction of the fermentation broth of this strain resulted in the isolation of one major compound, which was active in vitro against gram-positive, gram-negative representatives and Candida albicans. The chemical structure of this bioactive compound was elucidated based on the spectroscopic data obtained from the application of MS, IR, UV, $^1H$ NMR, $^{13}C$ NMR, and elemental analysis techniques. Via comparison to the reference data in the relevant literature and in the database search, this antibiotic, which had a molecular formula of $C_{19}H_{29}NO_2$ and a molecular weight of 303.44, was determined to differ from those produced by this genus as well as the available known antibiotics. Therefore, this antibiotic was designated Meroparamycin.

Novel dihydropyrazole 5-8, 10 and pyrazole derivatives 12, 14, 15, 17 were synthesized. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by spectral and elemental analyses. The anti-inflammatory activity of all new compounds was evaluated using the carrageenan-induced rat paw edema test using indomethacin and celecoxib as reference drugs. The most active derivatives as anti-inflammatory agents were accordingly tested for their analgesic activity using the p-benzoquinone-induced writhing method in mice and results revealed that these compounds had also good analgesic activity. The ulcerogenic liability of the selected compounds was also evaluated. Results showed that the selected derivatives had anti-inflammatory activity comparable to or slightly lower than the reference drugs, reaching about 82% inhibition with a considerable gastric safety profile.
Reliable Broadcast Protocol Based on Scheduled Acknowledgments For Wireless Sensor Networks
Mohamed A. Abd El-Gawad,HyungWon Kim 대한전자공학회 2017 대한전자공학회 학술대회 Vol.2017 No.1
Wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of a large number of sensor nodes. Through wireless communication among these nodes, sensed information can be transferred from one node to another. If two or more nodes attempt to access the medium at the same time collision can happen and their data can be corrupted. Carrier sense multiple access (CSMA) can solve this problem by retransmitting the lost data until it receives a confirmation message from the intended receiver. In many network protocols like: routing, scheduling and synchronization, broadcasting important messages is crucial. If one of these broadcast messages is lost, a problem arises since conventional CSMA provides no recovery mechanism for broadcast messages. The aim of this paper is to propose a reliable broadcast algorithm to guarantee the delivery of all broadcast messages. The proposed algorithm has been implemented and its performance has been compared with the conventional CSMA.
