Ratcheting deformation in association with bulk texture evolution in HSLA steel is studied in this investigation. The cyclicdeformation behaviors and damage modes of the specimens are obtained at room temperature, employing asymmetric stresscontrolledtests under various combinations of mean stress and stress amplitudes. Bulk texture measurements of the specimensare done adopting an X-ray diffraction analysis. The results exhibit an increase in strain accumulation from 0.23 to 30.61%associated with a sharp reduction in ratcheting life from 3320 to 880 cycles by the increment in mean stress/stress amplitude. A continuous cyclic softening until the final failure is observed for all the ratcheting tests. It is noticed that variation of meanstress is more detrimental than stress amplitude in controlling strain accumulation while the effect of stress amplitude is morepronounced than mean stress for the reduction of ratcheting life. The fracture surface morphology indicates typical striationformation in the crack propagation region along with overload failure. The bulk texture studies indicate that there is a transitionbetween ‘ϒ’ fiber and ‘ζ’ fiber during all loading conditions. The texture intensity is increased from 5.71 to 11.68 withprogressive ratcheting strain accumulation. Here also, influence of stress amplitude is more significant than the mean stress.

There is a strong association between poverty levels and the probability of natural disasters. East Java, however, exhibits a distinct pattern. While the rate of poverty is declining, natural disasters are becoming more severe. Considering that East Java is an area with a high risk of natural disasters and a high poverty rate, this study aims to estimate the effect of environmental preservation and the magnitude of the impact of disasters as measured by the Disaster Risk Index (IRBI) on poverty. The 3SLS model is used on secondary data from 38 districts/cities from 2015 to 2021 as an analytical database. Based on the estimation results, there are 3 findings in this study: (i) the role of government, population development, and economic activity have a strong influence on nature conservation; (ii) nature conservation has a strong influence on disaster risk; and (iii) the disaster risk index has a strong effect on poverty. As a result, areas with a high level of disaster risk have a slower rate of poverty reduction. The role of this research is to show the need for the government’s role in improving the quality of natural disaster mitigation anticipation, economic activity, and the role of the population in a sustainable manner.

The disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an important part of the company. CSR disclosure (CSRD) is interesting to study because CSRD in the annual reports is very important in terms of attaining company objectives to satisfy the interests of stakeholders; protect employee’s interests; clarify the extent of contribution of the company in both CSR activities and CSRD; assist appropriate investment decisions. This study examines the structure of share ownership and company size as determinants of CSRD in the banking industry. We use a quantitative approach in this approach, in which researchers start with hypotheses and then collect data that can be used to determine whether empirical evidence to support that hypothesis exists. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling so that the research sample was 14 banking companies that are listed on the Indonesian Capital Market Directory from 2015–2017. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression determined the relationship between research variables. The results of the study state that managerial ownership, institutional ownership, foreign ownership, and company size affect CSRD. This demonstrates that the role of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and foreign ownership have an impact on CSRD and are deemed necessary for the corporate environment. Besides, company size determines the activities of CSRD so that it can increase public confidence in the company’s operational activities.

The aim of this research is to provide empirical evidence on the impact of CSR disclosure on earnings management and firm value. The population used in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2018. The sample in this study was 114 companies selected through purposive sampling. The results of data analysis show that CSR has a positive effect on Firm Value. CSR disclosure is one form of activity that companies carry out in influencing their stakeholder decisions. This is by the theory that a company is not an entity that only operates for its interests, but the main objective of the company is to meet stakeholder needs. Besides, CSR has a positive effect on Earning Management. The results of this study contrary to research conducted by prior research which states that CSR can reduce earning management because CSR not only increases information transparency but also creates interaction with stakeholders. The difference in findings in this study is because CSR disclosure in Indonesia is still low, as seen from the average CSR in Indonesia, which is 33%, and it is still not transparent so that companies tend to carry out earnings management.

Background: In the elderly organ degeneration process occurs, either due to natural factors or because of illness. One of the things associated with degeneration in the elderly is the complaint of dry mouth (xerostomia). Xerostomia prevalence increases with age. Complaints arising from xerostomia can affect the health of teeth and oral cavity which will affect the quality of life. These complaints are infi uenced by the production of saliva and saliva pH. Nowadays there is no adequate therapy xerostomia, but comprehensive treatment can be cultivated in improving oral comfort and function areas. Xylitol is one of the chemicals that have been shown to be effective in inducing the production and increase the pH of saliva. Aims. Proving effect of chewing gum containing xylitol for decrease in complaints and saliva pH in elderly patients with xerostomia. Methods: This study is a clinical trial (clinical trial) with Randomized Control Trial (RCT) Group Design. The study sample are 34 people were divided into two groups by simple random sampling, which is given a control group without xylitol chewing gum and the treatment group were given a xylitol chewing gum. Decrease in complaints of xerostomia were measured by a score of Xerostomia Inventory (XI), salivary pH was measured using a digital pH meter. Statistical tests using independent t test. Results: Statistical analysis of independent t test to score XI was signifi cant difference (p <0. 05), but the pH of saliva was not found signifi cant difference between the control and treatment groups. Conclusions: There is the effect of chewing gum containing xylitol in reducing XI score in elderly patients with xerostomia.

Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that can induce cytokine storm. To this point, no specific drug has been effective for curing COVID-19. Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the effects of a combination of acupuncture intervention and pharmacologic treatment in hospitalized COVID-19 patients with mild-moderate symptoms. Methods: A single-blinded randomized controlled clinical trial of hospitalized COVID-19 patients confirmed by RT-PCR examination with mild-moderate symptoms was conducted from August to September 2020. Participants were assigned to the treatment group (receiving pharmacologic treatment and manual acupuncture intervention) or the control group (receiving only pharmacologic treatment). Laboratory outcomes, including complete blood count, C-reactive protein (CRP) and ferritin levels, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), were measured before and after the intervention. For clinical outcomes, we evaluated the duration of the cough symptom. Results: We found that participants in the treatment group had a shorter duration of the cough symptom compared to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. In the treatment group, we found an increase in the percentage of lymphocyte count and ESR, while in the control group, both parameters were decreased; however, the differences were not statistically significant. There was a decrease in the mean of CRP and ferritin levels in both groups, and the differences were not statistically significant. Conclusion: Our study has shown promising results for the effects of combined treatment of acupuncture and pharmacologic treatment on the duration of the cough symptom in hospitalized COVID-19 patients with mild-moderate symptoms. Further large-scale studies with rigorous design are needed to examine these preliminary results.

Background: Dengue is the most rapidly spreading mosquito-borne viral disease in the world, including Indonesia. Dengue virus (DENV) is a small single-stranded RNA virus comprising four distinct serotypes (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, DENV-4). DENV-3 is a major cause of severe dengue infection in Indonesia. Currently, in several area changes in certain serotype related with severe infection. Family members are expected to take part in prevention, early detection of the morbidity and mortality associated with dengue infection and as reference source for health worker and researchers. Methods: A total of 460 patients enrolled this study. Informed consent was obtained prior to recruitment of patients enrolled into the study. During their admission to 5 hospitals and 15 primary health centers, data of characteristics and clinical information (symptoms, laboratory and severity of dengue infection) were collected during January 2012 to December 2013. The subject is patient with fever on day 1 or 2, suspected Dengue infection according to WHO criteria, and shows positive dengue NS1 and or IgM, IgG anti-dengue using a rapid screening test. The family members and health workers came to the patient`s neighborhood and observed wheter there are same symtoms in radius of 100 meters from the patient`s house. Results: From 460 patients, DENV-1 has been documented as the most frequent serotype among dengue cases (19, 34%), followed by DENV-2 (19, 13%). Spontaneous haemorrhagic manifestations occurs on 36 patients (7, 8%) of the 460 patients. Allpatients with haemorrhagic manifestations, 12 (33, 33%) and 5 (13, 8%) were caused by DENV-2, DENV-1 respectively. All subject discharge from health facility on recovery, undeveloped to DSS or death. Conclusions: Empowering family members and health worker can give an important contribution in early case detection to zero morbidity, mortality and transmission.
