On generalized graded crossed products and Kummer subfields of simple algebras

Using generalized graded crossed products, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for a simple algebra over a Henselian valued field (under some hypotheses) to have Kummer subfields. This study generalizes some known works. We also study many properties of generalized graded crossed products and conditions for embedding a graded simple algebra into a matrix algebra of a graded division ring.

Recently, Anderson and Dumitrescu's $S$-finiteness has attracted the interest of several authors. In this paper, we introduce the notions of $S$-finitely presented modules and then of $S$-coherent rings which are $S$-versions of finitely presented modules and coherent rings, respectively. Among other results, we give an $S$-version of the classical Chase's characterization of coherent rings. We end the paper with a brief discussion on other $S$-versions of finitely presented modules and coherent rings. We prove that these last $S$-versions can be characterized in terms of localization.
TUNISIA AND ITS ASIAN RELATIONS

투니지아와 아시아 국가와의 관계는 양자가 제3세계에 속하는 비동맹국회의 회원국이므로 존재한다고 보겠다. 제2차 세계대전 이전에는 대부분의 아시아 국가는 식민지 상태에 있었으므로 투니지아와의 관계는 파리(Paris)에 있는 각국의 독립운동단체를 상대로 하여 이루어 졌다. 1947년에 투니지아 독립단체가 카이로에 "마그레브 아랍 사무실" (Bureau du Maghreb Arabe)을 열었을때 양자의 접촉은 더욱 용이하게 되었으며 그때 막 독립한 인도네시아, 인도, 파키스탄으로 부터도 도움을 받게 되었다. 또한 아시아국가들은 이미 U.N의 회원 국가였으므로 국제외교 무대에서 투니지아의 독립을 성원하였다. 결국 이 성원은 식민지의 독립을 촉진하는 반둥회의 (Bandung Conference)를 열게하는 게기가 되었다. 투니지아가 독립한 후 많은 아시아국가들과 외교관계를 맺게 되어 튜니스에 주재대사관이 설치 됐다. 투니지아도 지난 수년동안에 아시아국가에 대사관을 설치하였다. 즉 동경 북경, 이슬람 마바드 및 델리등이다. 우리의 동경주재대사는 서울과 자카르타의 겸임대사이다. 투니지아는 나날이 그 중대성이 높아가는 이 동부아시아 지역에 더욱 많은 공관을 설치하며 동시에 이들 국가의 상대가 되려고 애쓰고 있다. 경제적으로 보아도 우리는 서로 경쟁자가 아니고 협조자이다. 우리는 아시아 민족들로부터 배우고 아시아인의 경험에서 덕을 볼 것이다. 몇몇 프로젝트는 이미 시작되었다. 즉 일본이 세운 투니스근교의 발전소가 그 한 예이다. 또 다른 프로젝트도 추진되고 있다. 대한민국과는 고위층의 예방이 여러번 오고 갔으며 서로 더욱 잘 알아서 가까운 장래에 그 관계가 확대 발전 될 것을 희망한다.
Design of PM Motor Drive Course and DSP Based Robot Traction System Laboratory

This paper presents a part of North Africa/Europe collaboration results in education to develop project-oriented courses in power electronics and motor drive field. The course aims to teach Permanent Magnet motor drives close to a real world project of significant size and depth so as to be motivational, namely mobile robot project. Particular skills, student will acquire, are those relative to the detailed design and implementation of PM motor controllers in DSP based rapid prototyping environment. Simulation work is completed using graphical modeling tools in Simulink/Plecs, while real-time implementation is achieved by means of eZdspF2812 board and Simulink/TI C2000 Embedded Target tools. This flexible development environment fit the robot traction system very well and provides exactly the functionality necessary for an efficient PM motor drives teaching as demonstrated by a set of simulation and experiments.
Effect of the Incorporation of Wood Wool on Thermo Physical Proprieties of Sand Mortars

The main objective of this study is to examine the heat insulation potentialities of the incorporation of wood wool in a sand mortar,in order to value the use of this type of lightened materials as lightweight insulating concrete. The wood wool has been incorporated,without any preliminary treatment, into a sand mortar. Four mortars containing different ratios of wool have been prepared and have been examined herein. It was shown that the incorporation of wood wool in the mortar decreases considerably its thermal conductivity and diffusivity. Thus, the thermal insulation capacity has been improved. Also, the influence of the water content on the thermo physical properties of the studied samples has been examined. Thus, the thermal conductivity increases rapidly with water content and the thermal diffusivity presents a maximum corresponding to a water content value Wm. However, the materials used for building constructions must present sufficient mechanical strength. According to the experimental results, the compressive strength values are compatible with the use of these materials as lightweight concrete. The examination of the water absorption of the studied samples shows the high hygroscopic nature of the elaborated composite.
Indirect Position and Speed Sensing for PMSM Sensorless Control

This paper present a position and speed estimation algorithm based on measurement of phase currents and voltages and a pre-knowledge of the machine model. The aim is to elaborate an accurate estimator in accordance with some specifications, especially the ability to cancel any initial position error and robustness toward a dc-disturbance measured within the electric measurements. In earlier work, an old version of this method was investigated for open-loop position and speed estimation of permanent magnet motor. The present work provides complete description and Real-Time implementation of the method incorporated into sensorless vector control.

EXTENDED ZERO-DIVISOR GRAPHS OF IDEALIZATIONS

Let R be a commutative ring with zero-divisors Z(R). The extended zero-divisor graph of R, denoted by $\bar{\Gamma}(R)$, is the (simple) graph with vertices $Z(R)^*=Z(R){\backslash}\{0\}$, the set of nonzero zero-divisors of R, where two distinct nonzero zero-divisors x and y are adjacent whenever there exist two non-negative integers n and m such that $x^ny^m=0$ with $x^n{\neq}0$ and $y^m{\neq}0$. In this paper, we consider the extended zero-divisor graphs of idealizations $R{\ltimes}M$ (where M is an R-module). At first, we distinguish when $\bar{\Gamma}(R{\ltimes}M)$ and the classical zero-divisor graph ${\Gamma}(R{\ltimes}M)$ coincide. Various examples in this context are given. Among other things, the diameter and the girth of $\bar{\Gamma}(R{\ltimes}M)$ are also studied.
