In this study, we demonstrated passive single-mode fiber depolarizer for WDM optical communications. We simulated that birefringence of fiber-ring is acted as a depolarizer and found the proper parameters. The minimum degree of polarization of -20dB was achieved. Application of this depolarizer includes not only fiber optic sensors but also WDM optical communications with very narrow spectral width.

Lots of researchers have interested in Mobile Agent System as a computing technology which has received rapidly growing attention, since it may be a solution to reduce the overload of server, and network event at the same time providing the same service. Though there is some missing in mobile agent system area, mechanism for agent security is the most critical issue. In this paper, we analysis the ?? issue to protect the mobile agent system. Then, security structure for m?? agent system appling multi signature mechanism which uses public k?? based cryptography and oneway fuction is suggested.

The base induced ring opening of β -1actam derivatives with LDA gave γ-lactam derivatives stereoselectively. The γ -1actam derivatives were formed stereoselectively depending on β-3 substituent of B-lactam derivatives.

艸衣 意恂은 조선 후기의 禪僧으로 한국의 차 문화를 중흥시킨 茶人이자 詩僧이다. 그는 당대의 많은 유학자들과 교류를 하였으며 400여 편의 詩를 남겼다. 그가 지은 여러 편의 茶詩에는 茶와 禪에 대한 그의 사상과 인식이 담겨 있다. 艸衣의 詩篇에 나타난 茶에 대한 인식과 根本 精神은 中正, 中和, 思無邪로 집약할 수 있으며, 茶 生活 속에서 禪定에 들고, 차를 통해서 깨달음을 얻기도 하고 있었다. 결국 차와 선은 둘이 아닌 하나인 茶禪一如였으며, 그러기에 그의 茶詩를 관통하는 禪 意識은 茶禪一如요, 不二思想이라 할 수 있다.

총단관결찰후에 血淸蛋白分劃像이 어떻게 變動하는가를 보기 위하여 一定한 其間 같은 條件下에서 동육한 쥐를 使用해서 手術前 正常 血淸과 단관결찰 24, 48 및 72時間째의 血淸을 分離하여 cellulose acetate膜을 利用한 電氣泳勳을 實施해 서 그蛋白分劃像을 調査해 보았다. 正常 쥐血淸의 總蛋白濃度는 7.12 g/dl, albumin 3.11 g/dl (43.6%), α_1-globulin 0.15g/dl(2.1%), α_2-globulin 0.79 g/dl(11.1%), β-globulin 1.71g/dl(24.1%), γ-globulin 1.36 g/dl(19.1%)이었으며 이의 A/G 比는 0.77이었다. 쥐 血淸의 蛋白分劃은 사람血淸의 그것과 比較해서 A/G 比와 albumin및 α_1-globulin의 濃度가 낮고 β-globulin의 濃度는 높았다. 총단관을 結紮한 後의 血淸蛋白의 電氣泳動像은 變動을 나타내었다. 卽 단관결찰 72時間뒤에는 γ-globulin이 約半으로 減少되고 β-globulin은 增加 되었으며 其他의 蛋白分劃에는 別다른 變動이 없었다. Change in eletrophoretic patterns of serum protein after ligation of the common bile duct was investigated in albino rats weighing approximately 200g. Sham operated rats were used as control. Rats were sacrificed 24, 48 and 72 hours after the operation. Serum samples of each group were analyzed for determinations of total protein and its eletrophoretic patterns using a cellulose acetate membrane. In comparison with human, normal rat serum showed lower levels of albumin and alpha 1-globulin, lower A/G ratio and higher level of beta-globulin. The ligation of the common bile duct produced an alteration of electrophoretic patterns of serum protein. In 72 hours after the ligation, beta-globulin level increased apparently, but gamma-globulin level decreased to approximately half of the control.

Liquid metals continue to be of great interest as nuclear reactor coolants. One fundamental quantity required for design of such cooling systems is the heat transfer coefficietnt. Despite on-going interest and intensive research activities, the prediction of liquid metal heat transfer coefficients is still not satisfactory. Experimental results are not in good agreement with theoretical ones. This report describes some heat transfer coefficients observed under special circumstances. In particular, observations were made on a "figure-of-eight" system containing flowing sodium. The heat exchange was between a tube and an annulus. The tube and annulus exchangers were made in two different sizes. The sodium temperature range from inlet to outlet was large. In exchanger A the wall thermal resistance was 25% of the total and in exchanger B it was 45% of the total. The observed overall coefficient should be compared to the predicted overall coefficient. The length of run numbers showed the great stability of observed heat transfer coefficients over long times.
