        演繹과 歸納에 關한 考察

        In this paper, we point out that the knowledge of deduction method being suitable for persuading someone to approve a statement is unsuitable for necessity of deductive reasoning. For such knowledge, the recognition of difference between inductive reasoning and deductive reasoning is required. Such a knowledge is acquired some empirical components and some social components. David Bloor says, theoretical components of knowledge is one aspect of such social components. The atmosphere of classroom, attitude of teacher, attitude of other students are variables of such social components. Students in classroom study the knowledge of inductive method and deductive method with some social components, after this, students recognize the difference between inductive method and deductive method, after all, students recognize the necessity of deductive method for proving a statement.

        Ga-67 골주사와 X선사진을 이용한 실험적 하악골 염증성 병변의 활성도 평가

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of Ga-67 scintigram in predicting the disappearance of inflammatory activity in mandibular lesions of dogs. Inflammatory bony lesions were produced artificially by the injection of sclerosing solution and bacterial suspension through the distal root canals of the lower 4th premolars in 10 dogs. The serial Ga-67 scintigrams and periapical radiograms were obtained. After 3 to 6 weeks duration of antibiotic therapy, the experimental animals were killed, and the mandibular were dissected. Bacteriologic culture and antibiotic sensitivity test were done. The following results were obtained. 1. The negative Ga-67 scan has 100% predictive value, and is a strong evidence of the resolution of inflammatory activity. 2. In 2 animals of positive Ga-67 scan, 1 animal had negative culture. 3. In 14 cases of positive Ga-67 scan, radiographically there was increase in the size of lesion in 9 cases, no change in 5 cases. 4. In 8 cases of negative Ga-67 scan, radiographically there was increase in the size of lesion in 1 cases, no change in 6 cases and decrease in 1 case.

        두개골의 3차원 영상 분석을 위한 전산화단층촬영 방법의 비교 : 상층 두께가 3차원 영상의 계측에 미치는 영향

        Purpose : To evaluate the quantitative accuracy of three-dimensional (3D) images by means of comparing distance measurements on the 3D images with direct measurements of dry human skull according to slice thickness and scanning modes. Materials and Mathods : An observer directly measured the distance of 21 line items between 12 orthodontic landmarks on the skull surface using a digital vernier caliper and each was repeated five times. The dry human skull was scanned with a Helical CT with various slice thickness (3, 5, 7 mm) and acquisition modes (Conventional and Helical). The same observer measured corresponding distance of the same items on reconstructed 3D images with the internal program of V-works 4.0 (Cybermed Inc., Seoul, Korea). The quantitative accuracy of distance measurements were statistically evaluated with Wilcoxons’ two-sample test. Results : 11 line items in Conventional 3 mm, 8 in Helical 3mm, 11 in Conventional 5 mm, 10 in Helical 5 mm, 5 in Conventional 7 mm and 9 in Helical 7 mm showed no statistically significant difference. Average difference between direct measurements and measurements on 3D CT images was within 2 mm in 19 line items of Conventional 3 mm, 20 of Helical 3 mm, 15 of Conventional 5 mm, 18 of Helical 5 mm, 11 of Conventional 7mm and 16 of Helical 7 mm. Conclusion : Considering image quality and patient’s exposure time, scanning protocol of Helical 5 mm is recommended for 3D image analysis of the skull in CT.

        원위기저 비복동맥 피판술

        Reconstruction of soft tissue defect with exposure of the tendons and bone in the lower third of the leg and the heel represents a challenge to plastic surgeons. The sural artery flap is a fasciocutaneous flap supplied by the sural artery that accompanies the sural nerve and connects with a septocutaneous perforator of the peroneal artery via a suprafascial network of vessels. For the coverage of soft tissue defects, we operated on 10 patients using a distally-based sural artery flap. The sites of the soft tissue defect were the lower third of the leg in 7 cases and the heel in 3 cases. The size of flap varied from 3.5x4cm to 12x18cm. Nine of 10 flaps survived completely. One flap in which the sural nerve was preserved showed partial necrosis but healed spontaneously. Two flaps showed slightly venous congestion which disappeared after a few days. The advantages of the sural flap are a reliable blood supply, easy and quick elevation of the flap, preservation of the major artery and minimal donor site morbidity. The disadvantage of the flap is hypoesthesia at the lateral part of the foot. In conclusion, the distally-based sural artery flap can be used safely for soft tissues coverage in the lower third of the leg and the heel.

        3차원 전산화단층촬영 영상을 이용한 얼굴 연조직 두께 계측

        Purpose : To evaluate accuracy and reliability of program to measure facial soft tissue thickness using 3D computed tomographic images by comparing with direct measurement. Materials and Methods : One cadaver was scanned with a Helical CT with 3 mm slice thickness and 3 mm/sec table speed. The acquired data was reconstructed with 1.5 mm reconstruction interval and the images were transferred to a personal computer. The facial soft tissue thickness were measured using a program developed newly in 3D image. For direct measurement, the cadaver was cut with a bone cutter and then a ruler was placed above the cut side, The procedure was followed by taking pictures of the facial soft tissues with a high-resolution digital camera. Then the measurements were done in the photographic images and repeated for ten times. A repeated measure analysis of variance was adopted to compare and analyze the measurements resulting from the two different methods. Comparison according to the areas was analyzed by Mann-Whitney test. Results : There were no statistically significant differences between the direct measurements and those using the 3D images (p>0.05). There were statistical differences in the measurements on 17 points but all the points except 2 points showed a mean difference of 0.5 mm or less. Conclusion : The developed software program to measure the facial soft tissue thickness using 3D images was so accurate that it allows to measure facial soft tissues thickness more easily in forensic science and anthropology.       • ZnS : DyF₃ 교류 박막 EL소자의 제작과 특성조사

        EL device of which rare-earth floride DyF_3 doped in ZnS host is fabricated and measured its electric and optical characterics in our experiment. Its optical spectrum is depend on active layer and host, and the changes of the substrate te,perature during fulfilled deposition process is partcipated improving of crystallity of the active active layer. Annealing processes help removing the film distortion of active layer and improve the crystallity of internal of the grain. However, it may not affect the changes of the grain size. The enhamcement of crystallity resulted from the changes of the substrate temperature and the re-crystallization of luminance center be caused by annealing improved brightness and efficiency of EL device. Brightness of which device constructed in our experiment is 128cd/㎡ in 1KHz sinusoidal wave. And it emited whitish-yellow light which wavelength is 570㎚.

        The severe extrusion of the maxillary [post.teeth after the early loss of the mandibular post.teeth makes the fabrication of the mandibular prothesis difficult, and without proper planning.the treatment results are often unsatisfactoy. Several treatment modalitys have been introducted to correct the interarch space deficency.:Reduction the occlusal surfaces,Crown lengthening,Endodontics & restorative approach,Extraction, Orthodontic intrusion and segmental osteotomy. Because of many advantages,conservative method is widely used if it has no particular limits of treatment adjustment, but the cases of surgical correction indication are found in clinical experience. In our clinic,we corrected severe extruded maxillary post.teeth by performance of a unilateral posterior osteotomy with superior repositioning of the segment and orthodontic intrusion using Skeletal anchorage system,so here we reported the cases with a study of documents.

        연구논문 : 하늘다람쥐(Pteromys volans) 배설습성과 조사기법 개선방안 연구

        To identify the characteristics of the dropping habits and to provide improved methods for sign survey of Siberian flying squirrels Pteromys volans, an investigation was carried out in Jirisan National Park from April 2012 to May 2013. The latrines of study area were checked once a month and the characteristics of dropping behavior were camera trapped. The feces of Siberian flying squirrel were found on the point which tree forked, mostly from November to May. The squirrel actively presents in forked tree mainly on the September to April. The Siberian flying squirrel is found to be a typical nocturnal animal as it actively move between 6p.m. to 7a.m.. The study found that squirrel does feeding and dropping in the winter time on forked tree. On the point which tree forked could be a good place for the squirrel to hide from their predator when there is no leaf on the tree. Conducting the sign survey is advisable from November to May, as well as with the careful approach to the animals. As Siberian flying squirrel is an endangered species, adjusting the survey period is mandatory, especially when doing environmental impact assessment and a research on its dwelling areas.

        양궁선수들의 경기수준에 따른 경쟁불안 차이에 관한 연구

        This study aims to examine the competition anxiety status so that archery player and their coach can develop and enhance their performance. And the purpose of this study was to find out three changeable factors(cognitive anxiety, physical anxiety, confidence) which could be existed according to sex, exercise level and the period before they have a competition(before 1day, before single round 15minutes, before Olympic round 15minutes). I selected the object of study who was winner and participated in the formal competition and the object is composed of 26 women and 26 men and total of 52 persons. For the examination, I used the CSAI-2 questionnaire invented by Martens which is to measure the cognitive anxiety, physical anxiety and confidence, the examination was conducted as three steps, for example, before one day of match, before single round 15 minutes and before Olympic round 15minutes. I used the repeat-distribution-analysis method of the SPSS statistics program to verify how much the difference could occur according to sexes, function level and period. So I could find out followings. There was a difference in the competition anxiety difference analysis, confidence score difference and the main effect sexes and period. And there was a difference at main effect period, mutual effect period and sexes in the physical anxiety score.
