        Mies' Tugendhat House is known as one of the most important house in Modern Architecture with Le Corbusier' Villa Savoye and Wright's Robbie House. The purpose of this study is to analyze the formal and spatial characteristics of Tugendhat house. The result of this study are summarized in two characteristics Firstly, Tugendhat house shows the duplicities both in formal aspect and in spatial aspect. In formal aspect, Tugendhat house shows the duplicity of the composition of masses and the composition of elements. In spatial aspect, it shows the duplicity of the space between walls and the objects in space. Secondly, Tugendhat house shows the new relationship between the architectural form and space of Mies' Architectural thoughts as a unification of the concept of early experimental houses and the reality of conventional houses.

      • 두꺼비 보은 설화의 구조와 변이양상

        The folktale of favors-requiting toad is about the toad which requited the favor of the girl who had supported him. I have studied the structure and variation of the folktale, and furthermore the meaning and antagonistic aspect in the contents of the folktale by analyzing 21 materials I have collected. The story of this type is not only known in our country but also in various regions all over the world. This folktale has been very well handed down particularly in Cheong-ju in our country. This folktale has existed in the form of the folktale of written tradition as well as oral tradition. And the folktale such as this can be found in the written tradition of China. I have revealed the folktale consists of 12 motifemes as a result of analysing it. I have tried to study the variations process of this folkale not only synchronically but also diachronically. I can find that there are some variations such as expansion and reduction synchronically as well as diachronically in this folktale. And I can identify some variation of motif as well as in character in synchronic context. In the antagonistic structure of contents, 4 antagonistic relations can be found such as father versus daughter, village people versue the girl, the centipede versue the girl, and the centipede versue the toad. I conclude that this folktale has very close relation to the region, O-chang-myeon, Cheong-one-gun, North Chung-cheong Province, although similar folktale can be found throughout our country. Especially this folktale is closely related to the progenitor tale of 'Mr. cheong-ju Han'. Therefore, this folktale has a strong local meaning in tradition. As can be found in this folktale, the girl perfoums filial pity in spite of her distressful adversity, and the toad, a minute form of life repuites the favor of the girl. In conclusion, this folktale is based upon the performance of the most important human virtue, filial pity, the principle of favor-requital through the story that even a toad, a minute form of life can repay the kindness it received, and the plain truth, the victory of justice in a showdown between good and evil.

        증기발생기 전열관의 내면 축방향 균열에 대한 ECT 특성 평가

        증기발생기 전열관에서 1차측 응력부식균열의 발생빈도가 증가하고 있으므로 이의 정확한 탐지와 평가를 위해서는 균열 형상에 따른 와전류 신호특성을 규명하고 적합한 탐촉자를 선정하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 증기발생기 전열관의 내면 축방향 균열에 대한 와전류 검사의 검출능과 크기예측에 대한 신뢰도를 정량적으로 평가하고 pancake coil과 plus coil과의 신호특성 차이를 비교하였다. 이를 위하여 전열관 내면에 EDM으로 노치를 가공한 시편과 실제 증기발생기에서 1차측 응력부식균열이 발생하여 인출한 전열관을 시험편으로 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 토대로 내면 축방향 균열에 대한 와전류 검사 신뢰도 향상을 위한 방안을 제시하였다. For the enhancement of ECT reliability on the primary water stress corrosion cracks of unclear steam generator tubes, of which the occurrence is on the increase, it is important to comprehend the signal characteristics on crack morphology and to select an appropriate probe type. In this paper, the sizing accuracy and the detectability for the inner wall axial cracks of tubes were quantitatively evaluated using the following specimens: the electric discharge machined notches and the corrosion cracks which were developed on the operating steam generator tubes. The difference of eddy current signal characteristics between pancake and axial coil were also investigated. The results obtained from this study provide a useful information for more precise evaluation on the inner wall axial cracks of steam generator tubes.

      • 간내담석증의 임상적 고찰

        The pathogenesis of intrahepatic cholelithiasis has an unknown etiology. The causes of gallstone formation have been suggested bile stasis due to ductal stricture, and bacterial infection and paracitic infestation of bile. The incidence of the intrahepatic cholelithiasis is higher in eastern asian country including Korea than in western countries. Variable surgical treatment modalities have been developed in past several decades. However, the treatment of intrahepatic cholelithiasis has a lot of complicated problems, because of complex intrahepatic ductal anatomy and ductal stricture. The purpose of this study is to analyse the treatment modality of intrahepatic cholelithiasis. 46 cases of intrahepatic cholehthiasis have been analysed, who had been treated with surgery or surgery and postoperative therapeutic choledochoscopy from January 1991 for 5 years at the department of general surgery and the department of medicine, Soonchunhyang university hospital . They admitted under radiological and ultrasonographic imaging diagnosis and have been followed up for 1 to 5 years. The results were as follows; 1. Sex ratio(male : female) was 1 : 1.2 and average age was 54 years. 2. The most common symptom was upper abdominal pain(84.8%), and the most common abnormal laboratory finding was elevated alkaline phosphatase(54.3%). 3. Intrahepatic stones were 28 cases(60.9%) in the left hepatic duct, 3 cases(6.5%) in the right hepatic duct, and 15 cases(32.6%) in the both hepatic duct. 25 cases of intrahepatic duct stones accompanied extrahepatic biliary stones. 4. Among 16 cases(34.8%) of intrahepatic ductal stenosis, follow-up study showed that 12 cases(85%) were graded as good. Among 30 cases(65.2%) without intrahepatic stenosis, 29 cases(95.8%) were graded as good.

      • 후복막섬유증 5례의 임상적 고찰

        Retroperitoneal fibrosis is a fibrotic process of the retroperitoneum that frequently produces ureteral obstruction. It can occur as an idiopathic disease or in association with various non-malignant and malignant condition. In the early phase of the retroperitoneal fibrosis ; symptoms originate from the disease process itself, while in the late state the clinical features represent the effect of obstructive uropathy and renal failure. Treatment consist of steroid therapy, urinary diversion and ureterolysis with jntraperitonealization or lateralization or wrapping with omentum. Herein we present 5 cases of retroperitoneal fibrosis.

      • Adriamycin이 Mouse 심근의 미세구조에 미치는 영향

        Adriamycin, one of the antibiotic anticancer drugs, has been isolated from the Streptomyces peucetius caesiue. It is known that adriamycin inhibits DNA and RNA synthesis, and has been widely used as an anticancer drug. But the drug has so little specificity toward the normal and tumor cells that it induces many toxicity, alopecia, bone marrow depression and ulcer. And adriamycin also alters the biological functions of the membrane by peroxidation of membrane unsaturated fatty acids. Therefore the author undertook the present study to pursue the effect of adriamycin on the cytoplasmic organelles of cardiac muscle cells. Albino mice,DDY strains, weighing 20gm were used as an experimental animals. The experimental animals were killed at 24 and 48 hours after administration of 15mg/kg of adriamycin. The specimens obtained from the left ventricle of the heart were prefixed in Millonig's solution and post-fixed in osmic acid. After dehydrating and embedding the specimens, ultrathin sections were made and double stained with uranyl acetate and lead citrate. And these preparations were observed with JEM 100cx0Ⅱ electron microscope. The results obtained were as follows. 1. Electron density at the Ⅰ-band was decreased due to the discontinuation and loss of myofibrils in the 24 hour adriamycin treated group, but changes of myofibrils were recovered in the 48 hour adriamycin treated group. 2. Cisternae of the sarcoplasmic reticulum were dilated, fragmented and its sacculated residues were found in the sarcolemma in the adriamycin treated group. 3. Mitochondria were swollen and their cristae were lost in the 12 hour adriamycin treated group, but mitochondria were recovered in the 48 hour adriamycin treated group. Consequently, it is suggested that adriamycin would induce the cellular toxicity in the cardiac muscle cells, but the toxicity would be recovered as the time goes by.

      • 미분말 고로슬래그를 이용한 고강도 콘크리트의 개발

        본 연구는 철강석의 정제후 부수적으로 발생하는 고로슬래그 미분말을 건설분야에 이용하여 고강도콘크리트를 제조하고 이에 대한 여러 가지의 역학적 특성을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 실험의 주요인자로서 물/시멘트비, 굵은골재의 최대치수 및 시멘트의 종류로서 슬래그시멘트와 보통시멘트를 비교하였으며 제조된 콘크리트의 경화전 특성 실험으로는 슬럼프, 공기량, 응결시간을 측정하고 경화후 압축강도, 할렬인장강도, 휨강도 및 동결-융해 저항특성 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 슬래그시멘트와 19mm골재를 사용하고 물/시멘트비가 낮은 경우 높은 강도 발현은 물론 500cycle 이후에서도 상대동탄성계수가 90%이상을 나타내어 동결-융해에 대한 저항성이 매우 우수함을 나타내었다. 또한 슬럼프 경시변화에서도 보통시멘트를 사용한 콘크리트에 비해 슬럼프 손실률이 상당히 적어 유동성을 확보한 고강도 콘크리트의 생산이 가능함으로써 건설분야에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to make high strength concrete using blast furnace slag and is to know the mechanical properties about it. Major variables of experiment are the water/cement ratio, coarse aggregate maximum size, portland and slag as cement type. After measuring of slump, air content and setting time about fresh concrete, compressive, tensile and flexible strength test and freezing-thawing resistance test also were carried out about hardend concrete. The results of test showed a good resistance to become higher than 90% of a relative modulus of elasticity after 506cycles and more strength in case of lower water/cement ratio and coarse aggregate of 19mm with slag cement. Also, concrete using blast furnace slag will make practical application of construction field to be high strength concrete, a small slump loss.

        증기발생기 전열관 와전류 검사의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 부식결함 시편의 제작 및 활용

        원전 증기발생기 전열관에 대한 가동중 와전류 검사의 신뢰성을 높이기 위해서는 전열관에서 발생하는 실제와 동일한 부식결함을 제작한 다음 모의과정을 통하여 얻어지는 신호를 해석, 평가하여 장비 및 검사자의 기량을 검증하고 향상시킬 수 있는 기술개발이 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 가동안전성의 측면, 모의시편의 관점, 인출 전열관의 파괴검사로부터 도출된 관점 그리고 규제기준 및 외국의 사례를 통하여 부식결함을 이용한 증기발생기 전열관에 대한 와전류 검사 신뢰성 향상 연구의 필요성을 고찰하고, 실험실적인 부식결함 제작 모형을 소개하며 그 활용방안을 제시하였다. The development of an integrated technology including fabrication of corrosion defect specimens and their practical use is needed to enhance the reliability of eddy current test for nuclear steam generator tubing. In this paper, the necessity and importance and presented from the viewpoint of the structural integrity, simulation specimens for real defects, and experiences from the destructive examination of pulled tubes. The modes for several corrosion defects are also briefly introduced, with the scheme for their practical use.
