      • 신경망 이론을 이용한 국도구간의 통행시간 추정모델

        Travel time estimation has been recognized as one of the most critical elements of Intelligent Transportation Systems. This paper presents a method for estimating link travel time using neural network method. For estimation of travel time, traffic volume and mean velocity data from detectors are used. Also, In order to measure travel time by the time difference at each link or sectional data, license plate matching techniques are adopted. Target section is determined on a part of National road number 3, which is pilot section of NHTMS(National Highway Traffic Management System). It runs 10.72km from Gonjiam IC to Jang-ji IC. Neural network based travel time estimation model has been developed and tested using different data sets such as each link-based traffic data set and homogeneous section based data set. The optimal configuration of the neural network architecture is determined by self organization method. In conclusion, we know that the model by using all road section data is more efficient.

        Kalman filtering algorithm have been widely studied for estimation topics. Transportation application of Kalman filtering method includes, namely, travel demand estimation, travel time estimation etc. The aim of this study is to develop link travel time forecasting model by using Kalman filtering method. For estimation of travel time, traffic volume and mean velocity data from detectors are used. Also, In order to measure travel time by the time difference at each link or sectional data, license plate matching techniques are adopted. Target section is determined on a part of National road number 3, which is pilot section of NHTMS(National Highway Traffic Management System). It runs 10.72km from Gonjiam IC to Jang-ji IC. The observed and estimated travel time based on homogeneous section data are very close in cases of normal traffic flows.

        An investigation of the water quality for the streams of Daejon area in Chung-nam province, korea, was conducted from January to December 1981. By this analysis of water quality for the streams of Daejon area, annual mean values of BOD: 49.3㎎/l, COD: 33.4㎎/l, DO: 7.5㎎/l, SS: 39.1㎎/l were determined respectively and those values of parameters were comparatively high. The increasing order of the water pollution for the streams of Daejon area was as follows; confluence place Daewha-Dang (D)> Yudeung Stream (B)> Daejon Stream (A)> Gab Stream (C). Therefore, it suggest that the water pollution of the streams of Daejon area have greatly influenced upon the water quality of Kum River in Chungnam and Jon-buk province.

      • Irbesartan과 Lercanidipine의 병용요법이 고혈압 및 혈관재형성에 미치는 효과

        Hypertension is one of the major risk factor for cardiovascular disease and can lead to or make worse many complications, heart disease, atherosclerosis and diabetes. Thus, managing blood pressure effec tively using therapeutic drugs such as angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and Ca2+ channel blocker (CCB) can be prevent other complications. Therefore, we investigated the synergistic effect of these two drugs, ir besartan and lercanidipine, for antihypertension, cardioprotection and antidiabetes. Irbesartan (28.74 mg/kg, 14.37 mg/kg) or lercanidipine (1.92 mg/kg, 0.96 mg/kg) alone or combination was administered to sponta-neously hypertensive rats (SHRs) and C57BL/6 mice. A two-week treatment of combination with irbesartan and lercanidipine significantly attenuated systolic blood pressure (SBP) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) compared with monotherapy. Futhermore. the combination therapy protected myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury more effectively than monotherapy. In vascular remodeling, combination therapy significantly diminished cuff -induced neointima formation and reduced serum -indllced vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) pro-liferation compared with monotherapy. However, combination therapy had no significant synergistic effect of blood glucose regulation. Taken together, present study suggest that the combination therapy of irbesartan and lercanidipine may be more effective therapeutic strategy for the treatment of hypertension and related complications, myocardial infarction and arterial restenosis than monotherapy

        자매에서 발생한 중증 마이코플라즈마 폐렴에서 스테로이드 치료

        Numerous evidences support the pathogenesis that M. pneumonias pneumonia is associated with cell-mediat-ed immune reaction. We report 2 cases of severe M. pneumoniae pneumonia in previously healthy sisters, who were both admitted during an epidemic of M. pneumoniae pneumonia. The elder sister, who was 16 years old, was admitted with M. pneumoniae pneumonia. She showed no response to treatment with clarithroycin and levo-floxacin, and eventually progressed to severe ARDS, requiring mechanical ventilation. After treatment with hydrocortisone (200 mg/day), there were rapid improvements in clinical manifestations and chest radiographic findings. The younger sister, who was 14 years old, was admitted 10 days later, Presenting with fever but no pneumonic lesions on chest radiograph. Just like her sister, the infection showed no response to clarithromycin. Fever persisted and pneumonic consolidation with mild pleural effusion was noticed in the left lower lobe on the 5th hospital-day. After treatment with oral prednisolone (1 mg/kg), she showed rapid defervescence and on the 8th hospital day, no pneumonic lesions were detectable on chest radiograph. Given the fact that the pathogenesis of pneumonia and extrapulmonary manifestations in M. pneumoniae infection is immune-mediated, an immuno-suppressive therapy would be validated for selected patients with M. pneumoniae infections.

        ISP의 BcN 투자 및 요금체계 평가모형 : 실물옵션과 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션의 응용

        모든 정보통신서비스가 All-IP 통합 인프라로 제공되는 BcN 구축은 우리나라의 핵심 국책사업 중의 하나로, 인터넷 강국으로서의 글로벌 입지를 굳히는데 결정적인 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다. 그러나 BcN 기술의 성숙에도 불구하고, 제도적 측면에서 이의 성공을 뒷받침하는 연구는 드물다. 특히 BcN 요금체계와 같은 정책적 문제에 대해서는 별다른 진전이 없다. 본 연구에서는 요금정책이 BcN 투자에 미치는 영향을, 실물옵션과 Monte Carlo 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 분석하였다. 실험결과, BcN 수요의 불확실성뿐만 아니라, 요금체계와 관련된 정책대안이 사업자의 수익구조와 투자동기에 중요하게 작용하였다. 또한 수익과 투자시점은 밀접한 관계를 가지며, 트래픽 규모가 수입에 직접 반영되는 요금체계에서 BcN 투자가 앞당겨짐을 알수 있다. 특히 ISP와 CP간의 요금체계가 투자 의사결정에 보다 크게 작용하는 것으로 파악된다. 이러한 결과는, 사업자의 자발적인 첨단 인프라 및 서비스 개발이 국민경제에 긍정적으로 작용하는 동태적 효과를 보다 전향적으로 검토할 것을 요청한다.

      • STS 304 스테인리스강의 플라즈마 페이스트 침붕처리에 관한 연구

        Various surface properties of boride layer formed by plasma paste boronizing were examined. A boride layer of flat structure was formed on the STS 304 stainless steel substrate by plasma paste boronizing treatment with several different temperature from 1023K to 1223K under gas mixture of Ar/H₂: 2/1(vol.%). The paste was composed of 30wt% boron and 70wt% borax. The properties of boride layer were evaluated by micro vickers hardness tester, SEM, EPMA, and corrosion tester. Metallographic cross section of the borided specimen was consisted of the boride layer, Ni rich layer, Cr rich layer, and matrix structure. It was found to form boride layer in a short time to conventional boronizing methode. In XRD analysis of boride surface, various peaks such as FeB, Ni₃B and CrB were presented. Especially, the peak of CrB was more intensive than other peaks. Activation energy for the formation of boride layer was found to be 123kJ/mol which is lower than the conventional boronizing treatment. The microhardness of these boride layers were in the range of HV 1800∼2000. However, from the results of anodic polarization curve in 1M H₂SO₄solution on the borided specimens, it is found that the corrosion resistance is improved by boronizing treatment. Primary current density is, however, increased with the Boronizing temperature.

      • 경추부 인공관절 수술의 조기 방사선학적 결과

        전방 경유 골유합술은 50여년 전부터 시술이 시작되어 최근까지 경추부 퇴행성 질환에 대한 대표적인 수술로 알려져 왔다3-5)18). 그 수술 결과는 이미 많은 저자들에 의해 비교적 좋은 결과를 보인다고 발표되어 왔는데, 한편으로는 수술 후 장기간의 보조구 착용으로 인한 사회 경제적인 손실, 골유합으로 인한 경추부 운동 장애, 인접한 추체와 추간판의 심한 퇴행성 변화와 이차적인 병적 상태 발생 등이 문제점으로 거론되어 왔다2)6)9)10)12)13). 특히 여러 분절에 걸친 다발성 경추부 퇴행성 질환인 경우에는 수술 후 매우 심각한 지경의 후유증이 발생한다. 어떤 보고에 의하면 인접한 분절에 발생한 병변으로 골유합술을 시행 받은 환자들 중에서 1년에 2.9%의 환자들이 재수술을 받으며, 10년 내에 25.6%의 환자가 재발된 증상에 대해 추가적인 수술을 받을 수 있다고 보고한 바 있다13). 최근 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 경추부의 운동 분절을 유지하며 병적 상태를 제거할 수 있는 수술법들이 시도되고 있는데 대표적인 것이 신경공 확장술(Anterior microforaminotomy)과 다양한 종류의 인공디스크 수술이다. 신경공 확장술은 추간판의 대부분을 보존하면서 비교적 경추 운동에 영향을 미치지 않는 구상돌기의 일부를 제거하여 이를 통해 신경공을 감압하는 방법이며14), 인공디스크 수술은 추간판을 모두 제거하고 이를 통해 병적인 상태를 제거한 후 운동성을 가진 인공디스크로 대체하는 일종의 인공관절 수술이다1)8)11). 인공디스크 수술은 관절 운동을 유지하고, 골유합술의 단점을 피하며, 빠른 회복을 통해 환자로 하여금 일상생활이나 직업생활로 빠르게 복귀하도록 하기 위해 고안되었다. 이 수술의 목표는 디스크의 높이를 유지하고, 신경을 압박하는 모든 병적 상태를 제거한 후 운동 관절을 유지하기 위한 것이며, 아울러서 인접한 관절의 정상적인 상태를 유지하도록 하는 것이다. 저자는 다양한 경추부 퇴행성 질환에 대해 널리 사용되는 인공디스크 중 주로 Bryan을 사용한 수술을 시행하여 그 결과를 알아보고자 하였다. Object:Recently, motion preservation has come to the forefront of emerging technologies in spine surgery. This is the important background information of the emergence of cervical arthroplasty as an alternative to arthrodesis that offers the promise of restoring normal spinal movement and reduces a kinematic strain on adjacent segments. The study was designed to evaluate early surgical outcome and radiological effects of Bryan cervical disc prosthesis. Method:The authors retrospectively reviewed radiographic and clinical outcomes in 49 patients who received the Bryan Cervical Disc prosthesis, for whom follow-up data were available. Static and dynamic radiographs were measured by computer to determine the angles formed by the endplates of the natural disc preoperatively, those formed by the shells of the implanted prosthesis, the angle of the FSU, and the C2-7 Cobb angle. The range of motion(ROM) was also determined radiographically, whereas clinical outcomes were assessed using Odom’s criteria. Result:A total of 66 Bryan disc were placed in 49 patients. A single-level procedure was performed in 35 patients, a two-level procedure in 14 patients, and a three-level procedure in 3. Radiographic and clinical assessments were made reoperatively. Mean follow-up duration was 29.2 months, ranging from 6 to 36 months. All of the patients were satisfied with the surgical results by Odom’s criteria. The postoperative ROM of the implanted level was preserved without significant difference from preoperative ROM of the operated level. 90% of patients with a preoperative lordotic sagittal orientation of the FSU were able to maintain lordosis. The overall sagittal alignment of the cervical spine was preserved in 89.4% of cases at the final follow up. Interestingly, preoperatively kyphotic FSU resulted in lordotic FSU in 57.7% of patients during the late follow up, and preoperatively kyphotic overall cervical alignment resulted in lordosis in 62.5% of the patients postoperatively. Conclusion:Arthroplasty using the Bryan disc seemed to be safe and provided encouraging clinical and radiologic outcome in our study. Although early and intermediate results are promising, this is also a relatively new approach, long-term follow up studies are required to prove its efficacy and its ability to prevent adjacent segment disease.
