      • 신축 공동주택의 VOCs와 알데히드류 성분에 대한 실태조사

        In comparison with other studies, in particular, the emission of indoor HCHO in new apartments were very serious and Vacs showed below the Japan's guidelines (260 ㎍/㎥) excepting toluene (324.31 ㎍/㎥). Concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including aldehydes in indoor air was analyzed at 3 new apartments (at the lower, middle and upper floors of each apartment) during the Spring in 2004. The sample gases of Vacs and aldehydes were collected by Silicon canister (6 L) and 2,4-DNPH cartridges, and the analysis was made by the GC/MSD and PLC. As a result of the analysis, formaldehyde (HCHO) amongst aldehydes was found the highest (874.63 ppb) at the upper floor of C Apt., and the aldehydes' concentrations were S > C > K Apt. each. Also it did not show an apparent variation of characteristics according to floor. The concentration of VOCs was the highest (819.22 ppb) at the upper floor of C Apt. which exhibited in proportion with height.

        順天倭城에 관한 연구 : 건축적 의미를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is that it is made clear the construction method of Japanese Castle Architecture in Korea as I study the construction method of Suncheon-Japanese Castle(順天倭城) in those days of Jeong-yu Japanese Invasion. Moreover, I intend to analyze the similarity and the difference between Suncheon-Japanese Castle and Korean Castle Architecture by a comparative study. The result of the study is showed that Suncheon-Japanese Castle seemed to be built with the object of a long time stay rather than it was of strategic importance for the national defense. In addition, it was different from other Japanese Castle in Korea because the watch tower(天守閣) of it stood in the middle of stronghold and the watch tower stronghold dividing the round of it while that of it stood the corner of stronghold. The face stone used in important part of watch tower, gate, and so on was mostly a trimed hexangular stone. On the other hand, the face abbuting on the Gulf of kwang-yang was made of naturally wild face stone. The stone cleared traces of Si-hyeol(矢穴) and domestic Castle in Japan was also made of this method after Im-Jin Japanese Invation. According to the construction method, the wall of castle made use of the Netak(內托) method except the gate, the support stronghold and the watch. The early mountain castle in Korea have this construction method in common.

      • 석유화학공업단지에서의 악취성 VOC/VIC의 농도조사

        Concentrations of malodorous VOC (volatile organic compounds) and VIP (volatile inorganic compounds) is the atmosphere were measured is the Yeas petrochemical industry complex during August 4, 2003 ∼ August 8, 2003. The malodorous VOC/VICs were collected .y medlar .age and 2,4-DNPH cartridges. The 66 malodorous species of VOC/VICs including sulfur, aldehydes, ketoses, alkalis, alkeses, alkyds, naphmheses, and aromatics were analyzed .y GP/MSD, GC/FPD, and GC/NPD. The purpose of this study was to survey the concentration trends malodorous VAC and VIP in the petrochemical industrial complex, and to provide the basic information. which can estalish the effective strategy of odor pollution management and control. The obtained results showed that the average concentrations of malodorous VOC/VICs group is Yeosu industrial complex were 64.19 ppb in alkaline, 60.61 ppb in aldehydes, 47.79 ppb in ketones, 37.86 ppb in alkenes, and 9.88 ppb in aromatics, respectively. The concentrations of propane, ethylene and toluene, is particular, were high is all the sampling sites.

        In taper cutting, when the end of cutting bite is worked in the state of not being placed at a straight line with the axis line of works, the taper is differed though the diameter of the both ends of works is matched correctly. so, in this study as the end of bite is changed minutely up and down in the axis line of works, its intended to consult to the cutting by reviewing the experimental value of, taper and theoretical value.

      • 남자 초·중학생의 무산소성 작업능력과 무산소성 파워의 관계

        The critical power(CP) is the highest intensity to sustain for a long time without a fatigue. The anaerobic work capacity(AWC) is the highest anaerobic capacity to be provided by anaerobic energy system without the infection of hypoxia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between AWC and AnP and to verify the validity of AWC. The subjects were consisted of 10 elementary and 10 middle school male students(12.8±1.3yrs, 159.3±12.1㎝, 49.4±11.8㎏). The critical power and anaerobic work capacity were calculated by work-time relationship after four cycle ergometry test to fatigue from 1 to 10 minute. The anaerobic power included Margaria-Kalmen test, Sargent jump and Wingate test. The main finding were as follows. The AWC of elementary and middle school students. were 6.47±2.63KJ and 11.10±3.01KJ. The AWC of elementary students was 58.3% of the middle school students's one. The AnP of elementary students were 47.2∼66.5% of the middle school students's one. And there were high correlation between AWC and AnP(0.64∼0.87, P<0.01). This study showed that AWC is useful index on AnP both elementary and middle school students.

      • 경북 지역의 지하수 수질에 관한 연구 : 1. 지하수중에 존재하는 질산성질에 의한 오염도에 관한 연구 Ⅰ. Study on the Pollution Level by Nitrate Nitrogen in the Ground Water

        We investigated the contamination of ground water in Kyungbuk region about 87 points by nitrate nitrogen(NO₃-N) concentration. The obtained results were as follows; 1. Nitrate nitrogen concentration is high showed 4.43㎎/ℓ for life used. The results seemed to contaminate because of excrement of men and livestock, decomposed animal and plant and chemical fertilizer. 2. Nitrate nitrogen concentration classified with about 11 region is high 14.9㎎/ℓ in storage tank.

      • 대구, 경북 지역의 토양 환경상태 연구 : 토양 용도별 및 토양오염지표에 의한 평가 Assessment by Soil Divisions and Soil Pollution Index

        We analysed the soil quality of Taegu and Kyungbuk region according to the 12 different sampling sites. The soil pH of the downtown area near road was lower than that of the other roads, which indicated that this acidification was probably attributed to the acid rain caused by the traffic exhaust gas such as SO_x and NO_x, Acidification was slightly severe in the rice paddy area than in the dry farming area. All concentration of 6 different heavy metal(Cu, As, Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr^+6) and organic contaminants (Cyanide, organic-p, PCBs, phenols) were found to be lower than the standard of soil pollution or not detected. An assessment using the SPI(Soil Pollution Index), which was developed to estimate soil quality, was performed. Each SPC(Soil Pollution Score) were evaluated with the results of the data from this study. The soil quality of most area of Taegu and kyungbuk was determined to Class 1, which indicated that the soil was healthy.

      • 경북 지역의 지하수 수질에 관한 연구 3 : 용도별 지하수 수질의 특성 The Characterisrics of Groundwater by Used Types

        We investigated the contamination of groundwater in Gyeongbuk region about 180 points by used types and by rock types. From the view point of used types, the obtained results were as follows; The concentration of nitrate nitrogen was highest for agriculture used as 5.3mg/l and was medium for life used as 4.2mg/l while faculty used was lowest as 1.8mg/l. In case of chloride ion, the concentration was highest for agriculture use as 39.9mg/l and was medium for faculty used as 34.8mg/l, while life used was lowest as 23.5mg/l. In case of 359mg/l. In case of the concentration of pH and COD, it showed that the relationship with used types was not so good.

      • 태권도 품새 수련이 아동의 심박수, 심근산소소비량, 에너지 대사에 미치는 영향

        The Taegeuk Poomse 1 through 8 of Taekwondo are based upon eight major branches of philosophical theories. The propose of this study was to investigate the nfluence of Taekwondo poomse trainning on heart rate, MVO2, energy metabolism in primary school students. Subjects for this study were eight male the fifth∼sixth grades students who participated in exercise program consist of Taekwondo poomse trainning in dojang which is located in Shinlim-2dong, Kwanak-Gu, Seoul(12.7± 0.5years, 150.8 ±4.6cm, 45.1 ± 9.4kg, 24.9 ± 9trainning length). The results of thet this study are as follows: 1) The average of heart rate was Taegeuk Poomse 1 through 8 of Taekwondo 90.57± 4.gbeats/min in rest and 139.7 ± 17.5beats/min in exercise. The minimum heart rate was 89.0±2.8, peak heart rate was 167.1 ±6.4 in exercise. It was ranged from 42% to 80% 2) of the max heart rate and ranged 42 to 65%HRmax. Taegeuk 1 Jang was differenced with others Jangs significantly(p<0.05), 2) The time of the Taegeuk 1 through 8 Jang of Taekwondo was 5minutes 12seconds. Heart rate was ranged from 90.6 ± 7.85beats/min to 171.8 ±8.Ibeats/min and increased linearly. 3) The average of the MVO2 was 11.1 ±0.78mmHg · bpm-3 in rest and 19.1 ± 1.2mmHg ㆍbpm-3 in exercise. MVO2 was ranged from 10.5mmHg · bpm-3 to 20.3mmHg · bpm-3. There were not difference between Taegeuk Poomses(p<0.05). 4) The energy metabolism was as follows: Mean VO2 Respiratory exchange ratio, energy consumption were 0.51(V02L/min),0.71(RQ),2.32Ckca1/min) in rest respectively. but In exercise Mean VO2 Respiratory exchange ratio, energy consumption were 0.89 ± 0.18( V 02L/min), 0.79±0.08(RQ), 4.26±0.51(kcal/min) respectively . The difference was only between Taegeuk 1 Jang and Taegeuk 3 Jang(p<0.05). This study showed that the Taekwondo Poomse trainning was proper exercise for fitness, body composition and weight control in normal, abnormal(obese) children because the Taekwondo trainning are dynamic and exciting sport.

      • 만성 심부전환자의 혈액에서 측정한 Tumor necrosis factor-α 및 Interleukin-6의 임상적 의의

        Background and objectives: Many conditions are responsible for the pathophysiology and progressive mechanisms of congestive heart failure. More recently, it has also become evidence that another class of biologycally activated molecules generically reffered to as cytokine these are also over expressed in congestive heart failure. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to measure concentrations of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-6(IL-6) in mild to severe symptoms of heart failure and compare their values with those found in normal control and analysed correlation relationship between cytokine level, clinical findings and hemodynamic indicies. Subjects and Methodology: Levels of TNF-α and IL-6 were measured on pulmonary artery during cardiac catheterization in heart failure patients(n=32) and normal subjects(n=8) as well as physical examination and echocardiogram. Cytokines assay were performed on plasma using commercially available ELISA(Enazyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kits. Results: Although the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 tend to increase in congestive heart failure group, the cytokines level was not made significantly statistical difference between congestive heart failure group and controls. When analyzing the correlation between the levels of PCWP(pulmonary capillary wedge pressure) and cytokines(TNF-α, IL-6), respectively, there were statistically significant correlation coefficient 0.32,(p<0.05), 0.39(p<0.01). The cytokine IL-6 and pressure of pulmonary artery were significant correlation.(correlation coefficient 0.36, p<0.02) More significantly, there was correlated with TNF-α and IL-6.(correlation coefficient 0.57, p<0.001) Conclusions: There was tended toward high concentration of TNF-α & IL-6 in congestive heart failure and significant difference for PCWP between TNF-α & IL-6, thus may be correlated with development and progression in congestive heart failure.
