탈북자 적응의 사회경제적 문제 : 보호경찰관에 대한 설문결과를 중심으로

The analyses about the North Korean defectors living in South Korea have transmitted many informations about their adjusting problem in the new society.However, the researches are based on the defectors' opinion because they are carried out mainly by the survey to the defectors themselves.Even though the results are really informative, they would not reflect the problems fully, because the defectors can manipulate the results for their own interest and they do not understand the society well.This means that the results should be corrected by the survey to the South Koreans. On this reason the survey is conducted to the South Korean policemen, who have cared for the North Korean defectors, because they know the defectors best.The objects of this survey was to find out the adjusting problems of North Korean defectors and the way to overcome them with the view of South Koreans.The 258 answers are gathered and analyzed. Most important findings are like following: First, the policemen regard the socialistic lifestyle and the way of thinking depending on state as problems for adjusting, even though the defectors do not consider it as problems. Second, 85% of the answered pointed the individual problem like lack of job capability as most important problem rather than the social problem like prejudice.The most often pointed problem was the lack of job capability.However, 20% of the answered said the defectors did not want to be employed.This needs a deeper investigation. Third, just 27.9% of the answered would employ the defectors as a worker if they were employer, while 59.7% would not.This implies the long term rate of unemployment will increase and the potential unemployment after the unification will approach at least 59.7% on the proposition that the policemen represented the whole South Koreans. Fourth, the policemen recommended following policy measures in the given order: vocational training and social education - help to find job - increasing the support for settlement - providing house.Especially over the half of the answered raised the necessity of vocational training. The survey showed that there are common sense about the problems and the improving measures even though there are some gaps acknowledging the real world.The common findings it that the North Korean defectors could not survive independently if they don't have any vocational training to improve the job capability or the financial support.Even after the vocational training they need help for finding a job.This means and incentive system should be developed for firms giving a chance to the defectors like wage subsidy.It is needed not only for the social justice but also for the proper use of human resources.The principle of 'guarantee of basic standard of living' and 'encouraging the self-reliance' should be kept in supporting the settlement as well as income subsidy.Government should develop a institutional frame for cooperation with religious and social groups, so that the supporting system reaches the intended goals.

무배란성 불임환자에 있어서 골반 초음파 추적조사에 의한 Gonadotropin 치료

Ovarian follicular growth was monitored by ultrasound. Ovulatioin induction in 25 cycles of 13 anovulatory infertility patients were performed. These women were treated with clomiphene citrate, human menopausal gonadotropin(hMG) and human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG) for anovulatry infertility. The amount of gonadotropins administered were based exclusively on the results of the ultrasound examiinations. Twelve pregnancies were obtained. with 12 singletons, resulting in accumulative pregnancy rate about 92.3%. Ultrasoound can be helpful in the determination of the best time for induction of ovulation and effectively to control gonadotropin therapy in the majority of cases.

남북 투자시장의 통합환경과 방향 : 점진적 통합과정의 성공 모색

The purpose of this paper is to study how the political and economic environment for the integration of goods markets in South and North Korea can be constructed and what is the possibility to be done so.To do this, the study examines the overall situation of the inter-Korean trade with the focus on its structure and characteristics.Furthermore some institutional measures are put forward to increase the level of the inter-Korean trade. For the past decade, there have been a lot of intermittent negotiations to expand the economic trade between the two Koreas.However the negotiations failed to have born fruits largely because the both sides were not assured of the consequences of the expanded economic exchanges between them, which would be negative on their political and military regimes. After the June Summit, the political environment between the South and North Korea has been drastically improved, but the macroeconomic situations are not favorable to extend the bilateral economic exchanges, through which to reach an integration of goods markets in the foreseeable future.On the part of the South Korea, the aftereffects of the financial crisis of 1997 are still lingering on it.The fundamentals of the North Korean economy are still not in a good condition with serious shortages in food, energy, exchange currency, ect. In conclusion, to level up the inter-Korean trade the South Korea should make efforts to recover completely from the financial crisis by eliminating the inherent structural problems in finance and industry.On the side of the North Korea, the malfunctioning economic system should be restructured to get out of its current economic crisis.But the problem the North Korea faces is that it tis much less possible for the ruling class to take a new strategy of radical reform on its ill economy.It is rather probable that they would prefer a gradual reform for the economic openness.The most important thing for the South Korean government to do expand the inter-Korean trade is to take some institutional measures: to simplify the complicated bureaucratic process to deal with the economic relations with North Korea, to enlarge direct trade, and to support with various subsidies the middle-and small sized companies involved in the trade with North Korea.

To adjust ourselves to the information society, we are in need of a new educational paradigm. The information society is supposed to promote overall changes in the object, content and methods of education. To satisfy the demands in the information society, according to the learners' demands and needs, various kinds of learning materials, such as letters, sounds, pictures, animation, and abundant information infra should be offered. As instructors teach the students in classroom, lots of contents should be given to design the contents in various ways. Especially handy and standardized instructional producing tools to tie various kinds of contents together should be developed. We need the tools to develop the contents. Thus, the purpose of this paper is that, if teachers have their own knowledge of their major subjects in order to design multimedia teaching-plan easily, multimedia teaching-plan with a database driven management system should be projected and constructed, and the educable authoring tool (Multimedia Teaching Plan Program Based on Client/Server) should be embodied with both standardized intellectual presentation and an authoring tool for educational materials.

Recombination Activating Gene 1 Product Alone Possesses Endonucleolytic Activity

Two lymphoid-specific proteins, RAGl and RAG2, are required for the initiation of the V(D)J vitro. The V(D)J cleavage that is mediated by RAG proteins at the border between the coding and signal sequences results in the production of a hairpin at the coding end and a double-stranded break at the signal end. Two hairpin coding ends are re-opened, modified, and sealed; whereas, the signal ends are directly ligated. Here I report that only RAGl can carry out a distinct endonucleolytic activity in vitro using an oligonucleotide substrate that is tethered by a short single-stranded DNA. The purified RAGl protein alone formed a nick at the near position to the recombination signal sequence. This endonucleolytic activity was eliminated by immunoprecipitation using the RAG1-specific antibody, and required the 3`-hydroxy group. All of the RAGl mutants that were incapable of the nick and hairpin formation in the V(D)J cleavage analysis also showed this new endonucleolytic activity. This suggests that the nicking activity that was observed might be functionally different from the nick formation in the V(D)J cleavage.
