Luminescence Properties of Blue Light-emitting Diode Grown on Patterned Sapphire Substrate

In this study, we present a detailed investigation of luminescence properties of a blue light-emittingdiode using InGaN/GaN (indium component is 17.43%) multiple quantum wells as the active region grownon patterned sapphire substrate by low-pressure metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). HighresolutionX-ray diffraction (HRXRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Raman scattering (RS) and photoluminescence (PL) measurements are employed to study the crystalquality, the threading dislocation density, surface morphology, residual strain existing in the active regionand optical properties. We conclude that the crystalline quality and surface morphology can be greatlyimproved, the red-shift of peak wavelength is eliminated and the superior blue light LED can be obtainedbecause the residual strain that existed in the active region can be relaxed when the LED is grown onpatterned sapphire substrate (PSS). We discuss the mechanisms of growing on PSS to enhance the superiorluminescence properties of blue light LED from the viewpoint of residual strain in the active region.

Investigation on HT-AlN Nucleation Layers and AlGaN Epifilms Inserting LT-AlN Nucleation Layer on C-Plane Sapphire Substrate

In this study, we have investigated a high-temperature AlN nucleation layer and AlGaN epilayers onc-plane sapphire substrate by low-pressure metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (LP-MOCVD). Highresolution X-ray diffraction (HRXRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and Raman scattering measurements have been exploited to study the crystal quality, surfacemorphology, and residual strain of the HT-AlN nucleation layer. These analyses reveal that the insertionof an LT-AlN nucleation layer can improve the crystal quality, smooth the surface morphology of theHT-AlN nucleation layer and further reduce the threading dislocation density of AlGaN epifilms. Themechanism of inserting an LT-AlN nucleation layer to enhance the optical properties of HT-AlN nucleationlayer and AlGaN epifilm are discussed from the viewpoint of driving force of reaction in this paper.

Growth of InGaN Films on c-plane Sapphire Substrates with an AlN Nucleation Layer by Using Metal-organic Chemical-Vapor Deposition

In this study, we report on the crystal quality of InGaN epifilms with different indium fractions grown at different growth temperatures on c-plane sapphire substrates with an AlN nucleation layer by using low-pressure metal-organic chemical-vapor deposition (MOCVD). High-resolution X-ray diffraction (HRXRD), atom force microscopy (AFM), photoluminescence (PL) and Raman scattering measurements were employed to study the crystal quality, optical properties and strain condition of InGaN epifilms with increasing indium fraction (from 4.36% to 15.36%). Results show that InGaN epitaxial layers can be realized with a higher indium fraction at a lower temperature by inserting an AlN nucleation layer between the sapphire substrate and the GaN buffer layer and that the obtained InGaN epifilms have an improved crystal quality and a lower threading dislocation density.

唐 陸贄의 制誥文에 대한 고찰

The Imperial Edict(制誥文) by Lu Zhi(陸贄) shows various political activities of Dezong(德宗) of Tang(唐) Dynasty in the years from Jianzhong (建中) to Xingyuan(興元). It also shows how the feudalism king used the official documents and how they worked to overcome the national crisis. In this respect, the Imperial Edict(制誥文) of Tang(唐) Dynasty constitutes a mutual relationship with the memorials to the Throne and have a certain historical value. In addition, the Imperial Edict(制誥文) is an official document but needs to be able to convey beautiful literary and profound ideas fluently. Therefore, it contains the rhetorical, phonological and ideological essence of Chinese classical literature, which was unfolded by the greatest writer of the time. In this respect, we can not neglect the literary value of the Imperial Edict (制誥文) either. As such, it has a certain literary significance that ‘the writing of the emperor’ during the feudal period in China can be seen in the Imperial Edict(制誥文) by Lu Zhi(陸贄).

중국의 환경문제에 대한 대응과 소설 《인류세(人類世)》

자오더파(趙德發)의 장편 소설 《인류세(人類世)》는 2016년에 장강문예출판사에서 출간되었다. 39만 자에 달하는 이 소설의 내용은 해변 도시를 이야기의 주요 배경으로 하고 있으며, 지구의 생태 환경의 급격한 변화와 그로부터 발생하는 사회 문제를 묘사하였고 또한 그에 반응하고 대응하는 인간 군상의 여러 면모를 그려내었다. 자오더파는 《인류세》에서 환경 파괴와 생태 위기의 배후에는 개인과 사회, 문화와 윤리의 문제가 복잡하게 얽혀 있음을 보여주고자 했다. 주인공인 쑨싼(孫參)의 개인적인 성장사와 성공지상주의는 그의 서사의 이면에 있는 사회 논리와 문화 윤리가 생태문제와 어떤 관계가 있는지를 드러내 보여준다. 쑨싼의 경제 활동이 ‘인류세’ 시대의 인간의 파괴 행위를 보여주고 있다면, 지질대학 쟈오스(焦石) 교수의 ‘인류세’ 연구는 과학적이고 이성적으로 인간의 행위가 남긴 자취를 증명하고 있다. 쟈오스 교수는 쑨싼으로 대표되는 인간들이 자연과 환경을 파괴하면서까지 경제 발전과 번영을 지향하는 근거가 되는 ‘인간중심주의’에 대해 경고의 메시지를 던진다. 이 소설은 ‘인류세’라는 지질 역사학의 새로운 개념에 착안하여 중국의 환경 문제를 조명하면서 오늘날의 생태파괴, 환경오염에 대한 우려를 나타내는 한편, 인류의 운명과 세계의 미래를 위해 바람직한 ‘생태문명’을 건설하는 방법을 탐색하고자 하였다. The novel “Anthropocene,” written by Zhao Defa(趙德發), was published by Changjiang Wenyi Publishing Co. in 2016. The 390,000-character novel features a large seaside town as the main setting of the story, describing the rapid changes in the earth’s ecological environment and the social problems that arise from it. The novel, based on a new concept of geological history called “Anthropocene,” shed light on China’s environmental problems and expressed concern about today’s ecological destruction, environmental pollution. And it is exploring effective ways to build a desirable “ecological civilization.” While paying attention to the fate of mankind and the future of the world, the “Anthropocene” seeks the help of religion and philosophy to explore the direction of human salvation. Instead of directly exposing and criticizing environmental destruction and ecological crises in “Anthropocene,” Zhao Defa has shown that the problems of individuals, society, culture and ethics are complicatedly intertwined behind them, causing problems. Zhao Defa paid attention to the personal growth history of the main character Sun San and tried to delve into the social and cultural ethics behind the ecological problems through his story. The “Anthropocene” Jiao Shi, the opposite character, proves the traces of human behavior scientifically and rationally. The novel considered China's environmental problems, based on a new concept of geological history called “Anthropocene”.

한국 현대극의 <조씨고아(趙氏孤兒)> 서사 변용과 ‘복수’의 해석

The Orphan of Zhao(≪趙氏孤兒≫) is the Chinese ancient play written by Ji, Jun-xiang(紀君祥) of Yuan(元) dynasty, which was based on the historic story in Shiji(史記). In 2015, two Korean modern plays were performed which are 2. respectively named as The Orphan of Zhao, the seed of revenge and The Orphan of Zhao, the chivalric action. One was performed by the Korean National Drama Company, wining the several famous theatrical prizes including the very best director prize of the year, because it showed the successful acceptance of Chinese ancient play style and the meaningful theme that revenge is so nothing. The other was the action drama with music, chivalry and heroism and was performed by the new-young theater full of enthusiasm and energy, sending the message that the young people would live more ardently for the sacrificed old people. The two Korean modern plays reflected the modern Korean`s susceptibility about the revenge tragedy of the original narration of The Orphan of Zhao.

唐 陸贄의 奏議文에 대한 고찰

Lu-zhi(陸贄) was one of the prime minister of Dezong(德宗) of Tang(唐) Dynasty. He wrote a lot of the memorials to the Throne for saving Tang(唐) Dynasty from the many troubles such as the disturbance of Fan Town(藩鎭), the invasion of foreign enemies, the rotten officials, the ruined governmental system and the economic crisis. The memorials to the Throne of Lu-zhi(陸贄) contained the ardent and heartful messages and the reasonable strategies for solving the most urgent problems politically and socially, and futhermore the progressive ideas for improving the destroyed governmental and economic systems in that period. We can read the memorials to the Throne of him to understand better the detailed aspects of the politics, the academy, the ideology, and the life of Lu-zhi(陸贄).

The historical essays begin from the doubts about the historical accidents and persons on which people had put high valuations before. An author analyzed the historical factors of the persons and accidents to revaluate them standing on his view of history and politics. Tang shunzhi (唐順之) criticized Xinlingjun(信陵君) for losing the attitude and loyaltyas a vassal in his historical essay "Xinlingjun jiu Zhao lun(信陵君救趙論)"; Wang shizhen(王世貞) criticized Lin xiangru(藺相如) for not going through formalities about national negotiations in his historical essay "Lin xiangru wanbi gui Zhao lun(藺相如完璧歸趙論)". The criticisms which had been expressed by the two authors of Ming dynasty(明代) in their historical essays actually was focused on the accidents and persons of their own times. Tang shunzhi(唐順之) and Wang shizhen(王世貞) saw with their own eyes that some eunuchs and corrupt officials deceived the emperor to exercise the political power for their own benefits. So although they criticised the officials who mistook the political decision for personal benefits and the emperor who mismatched the loyal position of the Age of the Warring states, but what they really wanted is to criticise the corrupt officials and the incompetent emperor of Ming dynasty.
