        Natural ground is a composite consisted of the three phases of water, air and soil paircles. Among the three components, water as a material is well understood but soil particles are not in foundation engineering. Especially, weathered granite soil generally shows a large volumetric expansion when they freeze. And, the stability and durability of the soil have shown decreased with repetitive freezing and thawing processes. These unique charcteristics may cause various construction and management problems if the soil is used as a construction material and foundation layers. This project was initiated to investigate the soil's physical and engineering characteristics resulting from freezing and freezing-thawing processes. Research results may be used as a basic data in solving various problems related to the soil's unique characteristics. The following conclusions were obtained: The degree of decomposition of weathered granite soil in Kangwon-do was very different between the West and East sides of the divide of the Dae-Kwan Ryung. Soil particles distributed wide from very coarse to fine particles. Consistency could be predicted with a function of P<sub>200</sub> as LL=0.8 P<sub>200</sub>+20. Permeability ranged from 10<sup>-2</sup> to 10<sup>-4</sup>cm/sec, moisture content from 15 to 20% and maximum dry density from 1.55 to 1.73g /cm<sup>3</sup> By compaction, soil particles easily crushed, D<sub>50</sub> of soil particles decreased and specific surface significantly increased. Shear characteristics varied wide depending on the disturbance of soil. Strain characteristics influenced the soil's dynamic behviour. Elastic failure mode was observed if strain was less than 10<sup>-4</sup>/s and plastic failure mode was observed if strain was more than 10<sup>-2</sup>/s. The elastic wave velocity in the soil rapidly increased if dry density became larger than 1.5g /cm<sup>3</sup> and these values were V<sub>p</sub>=250, V<sub>g</sub>=150, respectively. Frost heave ratio was the highest around 0℃ and the maximum frost heave pressure was observed when deformation ratio was less than 10% which was the stability state of soil freezing. The state had no relation with frost depth. Over freezing process was observed when drainage or suction freezing process was undergone. Drainage freezing process was observed if freezing velocity was high under confined pressure and suction frost process was occurred if the velocity was low under the same confined process.

        2017년 7월 4일부터 6일까지 경상남도 거제시 거제도 일대를 김주필, 김대희, 지승환, 지성현, 최라미, 이영경 등 한국거미연구소 회원들이 주야로 채집한 결과, 총 23과 56속 75종이 조사 연구되어 이에 발표하는 바이다. 채집한 표본은 주필거미박물관에 보관하였다. From July 4 to 6 in 2017. Joo-Pil Kim, Dae-Hee Kim, Seung-Hwan Ji, Sung-Hyun Ji, Ra-Mi Choi, Yeong-Gyeong Lee, the members of The Arachnological Institute of Korea investigated the spiders in the whole area of Geoje city, Geoje-do, Gyeongsangnam-do and report 23 Family 56 Genus 75 Species of spiders. The collected spiders are placed (stored) in the Joo-Pil Spider museum.

      • 다중 네트워크 아키텍처 지원을 위한 객체지향 게임 네트워크 엔진의 설계 및 구현

        Online game that based on network communication, use various type of communication and network architecture for each character and genre of game. In this paper, we investigated and analyzed communication types used in online games and, based on the results, introduced a method of developing an object-oriented network engine supporting various types of network architecture. The developed network engine not only supports the development of games using various types of communication applicable to online games but also is easily expandable because of its hierarchical structure based on the object-oriented concept. Moreover, since it can support dead reckoning make up for network latency problem, we use very usefully for development of game.

      • WIPI 기반 모바일 3D 게임엔진의 설계와 구현

        In this paper, we introduce the method for developing the mobile 3D game engine based on the WIPI platform which has been proposed as the mobile standard platform. Our game engine is designed so that it supports OpenGL-ES and JSR-184 that are mobile 3D graphic APIs. Our game engine has a mobile emulator operated on PC and SDK to support mobile programming in PC environments. Mobile 3D game developers can use the APIs at various levels. Also, the game engine is developed in modular in order to support various game genres.

        후이개에 발생한 거대 표피양낭종 1예

        Epidermoid cyst is slowly growing, round and firm tumor. Generally it grows up to 0.5 to 5 cm in diameter. Epidermoid cyst is rarely found in postauricular region. The cyst is intradermal or subcutaneous sac-like structure that is surrounded by keratinized epithelium with no dermal annexe in its covering epithelium. In surgical treatment, the cyst wall must be completely removed because residual portions of it can result in cyst recurrence. We report a case in which a 41-year-old man developed an epidermoid cyst presenting as a large postauricular swelling with a review of literature.

        Characteristics of turban shell, Batillus cornutus, as a food component was investigated to establish the data to use more effectively. Proline, glutamic acid, taurine and glycine were abundant in raw turban shell and those were consisted of 55.1% of the total amino acids. IMP and inosine were dominant in raw while those were decreased significantly during canning. Succinic acid, pyroglutamic acid and malic acid were abundant in raw and canned ingredients while the contents were decreased notably during canning. The polyenic acid such as arachidonic acid and EPA were abundant and followed by saturates and monoenes, in that order. Na. Mg. K and Ca were predominant in raw turban shell while those contents were decreased considerably during canning.

        Temporal bone high resolution computed tomogram(TBHRCT)is a essential diagnostic tool in considering for cochlear implantation in patients with profound sensorineural hearing loss. This study was designed for an effort to provide and efficacy of TBHRCT in determination of inner ear malformations for the patients who have profound sensorineural hearing loss and to examine the relationships between TBHRCT findings and other preoperative evalutions for cochlear implantation in that patients. Authors examined 68 deaf patients to provide fundamental data for cochlear implantation. Inner ear abnormalities were founded in 13(19%) patients, among which 10(14.7%) patients had Mondini'dysplasia in which 5 patients were hypoplastic type and 5 patients were hydrops type. Other inner ear abnormalities were as follows : lateral semicircular canal hypoplasia ; internal auditory canal abnormality ; cochlear aqueduct widening ; vestibular aqueduct widening. No relationships were found between TBHRCT findings and other test results. : promontory test, K-WISC cognitive test etc.(Korean J Otolaryngol 39 : 8, 1996)

      • 유한요소법을 이용한 판 구조물의 진동인텐시티 해석

        구조물의 진동인텐시티를 파악하면 진동에너지 전달경로와 소산기구 및 주된 기지원의 위치 등을 규명할 수 있어 구조물 진동의 효율적 저감 대책을 수립할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 선박, 해양구조물 등과 같은 대형 복잡한 구조물의 진동인텐시티를 유한요소법으로 해석할 경우 적정한 모텔링 기법을 마련하고자 평판과 보강판에 대해 유한요소 모텔링을 달리 하면서 진동인텐시티 해석을 수행하고, 그 결과를 고전적 근사해법인 assumed mode method에 의한 결과와 비교·검토하였다. 이로부터 유한요법을 이용하여 판 구조물의 진동인텐시티 크기 및 방향을 정확하게 산정하기 위해서는 고유진동 또는 강제진동 해석의 경우보다 세밀한 유한요소 모텔링이 요구되지만 진동에너지 전달경로 규명 등을 위한 정서적 해석은 강제진동해석을 정확하게 할 수 있는 정도의 유한요소 모텔로도 가능함을 확인하였다. 아울러, 두께가 다른 평판 구조물, L-자형 판 구조물 및 3차원 box-girder에 대한 진동인텔시티 해석을 수행하여 다양한 판 구조물에 있어서 진동에너지의 전달 현상을 고찰하였다. The interest in evaluation of structural intensity arises for practical reasons, because net energy flow distribution offers information of energy transmission path, positions of sources, and sinks of vibration energy. In this paper, structural intensity analysis of plate structures using finite element method(FEM), which can be applied for more complex structures, is carried out. The purpose of this analysis is to evaluate the relative accuracy according to mesh fineness. The structural intensity of unstiffened and stiffened plates varying their mesh fineness is analyzed and the results are compared with those obtained by the assumed mode method. As results, the proper mesh size in qualitative/ quantitative structural intrnsity analysis of plate structures is proposed. In addition, the propagation phenomenon of vibration energy is investigated for the thickness-varying flat plate, L-type plate, and box-girder structures.

      • 지상적석식 적석목곽묘의 목곽부와 적석부의 성격

        적석목곽묘의 적석부와 목곽부를 분리해서 연구하는 경향은 일제강점기부터 시작되었다. 이원적 계통관이라고 최병현이 이름 붙인 연구경향이 바로 그것이다. 그러한 경향은 자연스럽게 적석부와 목곽부를 분리해서 연구하는 인식을 심어주었다. 현재까지도 그런 인식은 그대로 유지되고 있는데, 이러한 점에서 일제강점기 일본인 연구자의 연구관점은 여전히, 아직도 우리에게 이어지고 있다고 생각된다. 최근 목곽부와 적석부를 정치하게 복원하고 그것을 토대로 상장례 또는 매장의례를 복원하는 연구가 새로운 연구경향으로 등장하고 있다. 이러한 연구가 가능한 것은 과거 천마총과 황남대총을 정밀하게 발굴하고 꼼꼼하게 보고서를 간행한 선학들의 노고에 힘입은 바가 크다. 그런데 적석목곽묘의 매장의례를 복원하는 연구를 읽어보면 목곽부와 적석부는 별개의 구조가 아니라 의례과정에서 서로 유기적으로 밀접한 관련이 있다고 이해된다. 그래서 측벽부 적석은 매장의례를 위한 제단과도 같은 역할을 하였다고 보았고, 개부(蓋部) 적석이 쌓인 최종형태는 건축을 형상화한 것으로 추정해 보았다. The tendency to conduct research on the Wooden Chamber Tombs with Stone Mound by dividing them into wooden chambers and wooden mounds began in the Japanese colonial period. This “dual systematic research view” was named by Choi Byung-hyun. Such a trend has created an atmosphere in which the stone mound area and the wooden chamber area have been studied separately, and this trend has continued right up to the present day, thus maintaining the viewpoints of the Japanese researchers of the Japanese occupation period. New research trends have recently emerged by which the wooden chamber area and the stone mound area are being restored, along with funeral and burial rites. Such research is made possible thanks to previous scholars’ dedicated efforts to publish detailed reports on the excavation of the Cheonmachong Tomb and the Hwangnamdaechong Tomb. The studies on the restoration of the burial rite containing the wooden chamber tombs with stone mound suggest that the wooden chamber and the stone mound were not designed as separate structures, but were in fact closely related to the ritual process. Thus, it is presumed that the wall-side stone mound probably served as a burial rite altar, and that the finally constructed opening-area stone mound shape was estimated by the formation of the structure.
