In order to confirm the intestinal helminthes, protozoa and Toxoplasma antibody titers from 41 cats, author performed the autopsy, stool examination, and Sabin & Feldman dye Test. 1. Total infection rates were 68.3%, and double infection rates were 29.3%. From 41 cats, 8 species were identified to Isospora felis(2.4%), Toxocara cati(7.3%), Ancylostoma sp(2.4%), Taenia taeniaeformis(51.2%), Diphyllobothrium mansoni(19.5%), Hymenolepis nana(2.4), Clonorchis sinensis (7.3,%), and metagonmus yokogawai(4.9%). 2. Habored region of each parasites was mainly small intestine, especially duodenum, and only Clonorchis sinensis was harbored in liver and bile duct. 3. Egg occurrence rate was 33.3% (T. taeniaeforis), 66.7(C. sinensis), and 100%(D. mansoni, M. yokogawai, I. felis). 4. Sabin & Feldman dye test titer was positive reaction in 14 cases corresponding to 34.190, and 27 cases were considered as negative.

The objective of this paper is to analyze the psychology of sin in Nathaniel Hawthorne. This paper is to represent diverse approaches to the main characters in The Scarlet Letter. He sets three characters on the stage and he is interested in religious view. Hawthorne's main material is psychology of guilt view and ethical point of Calvinistic life in New England. He believe that love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. Three kinds of religious sin can be divided in The Scarlet Letter. Hester Prynne commits sin of adultery with minister Dimmesdale, and she repents his sins. She is forced to wear 'A' on her breast as a sign of adulteress. She heartily tries to overcome her sufferings. Finally, she has changed the meaning of adultery into Angel. Dimmesdale didn't confess himself to guilty. His moral cowardice results in his sufferings. Eventually he confess his sin on the scaffold and dies. Even though he confesses late, he also reaches his redemption. Hawthorne regards Roger Chillingworth as the malice. Chillingworth transformed himself into a devil and an 'Unparadonable sinner'. He broke against the nature's providence. Finally he can also get salvation by repenting. In conclusion, Hawthorne, in The Scarlet Letter, represents that people are forced to take their right step because they have an original sin.

This study has some useful information about washout water from the small scale incinerator, installed in Chosun university. The results are as follows; 1. The concentration of SS has 65.2㎎/ℓ after being screened by micro strainer. 2. Alum(10% as Al_(2)O_(3) : 3㎖/ℓA-601P 4㎖/ℓ was added in pH 7.5 for coagulating screened washout water. The removal rate after carrying chemical coagulation turned out to be 85.8% in SS, 45.4% in CODMn, 64.5% in BOD with concentration 9.1㎎/ℓ ,93.5㎎/ℓ and 134.8㎎/ℓ respectively. Some heavy metals were also analysed and their removal efficiency was higher than expected as below : Pb, Zn, and Fe was determined as 0.76㎎/ℓ , l.06㎎/ℓ, 2.63㎎/ℓ with removal rate of 93.7%, 86.6% and 80.6% in each item, respectively. 3. The optimum HRT for sample which is mixed with coagulated washout water and screened sewage wastewater on HBC-briquet ash complicative media was 13.4hr. Mixed sample with different rate like 1 : 1(ratio of chemically coagulated water to sewage wastewater on a half and half bases) obtained from biomembrane reactor with 13.4hr retention time, was determined value as 35㎎/ℓ (38.6% removal rate), 28.3㎎/ℓ (81.3% removal rate) and 51.7㎎/ℓ (75.7% removal rate) with respect with SS, BOD and CODMn, respectively.

참깨 種子를 25℃의 incubator에서 10日 동안 發芽시키면서, 發芽後 1日, 3日, 5日, 10日로 區分하여 試料를 採取하여 油脂含量과 脂肪酸組成의 變化를 比較 分析한 結果는 참깨 種子 發芽中 油脂含量의 變化는 發芽前 안산깨가 53.8%, 단백깨가 52.5% 發芽後 5日에 18.8%와 13.6%, 10日째에 9.3%와 7.3%로 減少하였다. 그리고 總脂質中의 脂肪酸 組成은 幼植物이 成長함에 따라 palmitic acid, stearic acid 및 linolenic acid는 增加하였으나, linoleic acid는 減少하는 傾向을 나타내었고, 發芽後 5日과 10日의 子葉部와 胚軸部의 脂肪酸 組成은 linolenic acid는 急激히 增加하였으나, palmitic acid, stearic acid 및 oleic acid 減少하는 傾向을 나타내었다. Sesame(Sesamum indicum L.) seeds were germinated at 25℃ for 10 days in order to investigate changes in the oil contents and fatty acid composition of total lipid. The sample for analysis was distinguished with 1st day, 3rd day, 5th day and 10th day after germination. In Ansan and Danbak varieties during the germination period, the oil contents were decreased continuously from 53.8%, 52.5% pre-germination 18.8%, 13.6% on the 5th day, and 9.3%, 7.3% on the 10th day after germination. In fatty acid composition of total lipids, palmitic acid, stearic and linolenic acid were increased, but linoleic acid showed the opposite tendency, according to the growth of seedling. In fatty acid composition of cotyledon and seedling axis, linolenic acid was increased rapidly, but palmitic acid, stearic acid and oleic acid decreasing trends showed during the germination periods.

It is difficult to explain the magnetic phase transition with classical physics in Curie temperature. We studied qualitatively with the well known Ising model in statistical mechanics. We simulated systems of finite size by Monte Carlo methods with Metropolis algorithm. Thus we could estimate the values of quantities such as the magnetization(m) per spin the specific heat(c) per spin the magnetic susceptibility(χ) per spin, and the mean energy per spin compare with the numerical values in infinitive size. The quantities of c, m, χ, e varied rapidly within 2.3∼2.4 temperature at J/k units. Those values show that the critical temperature can be within the range. The hysteresis loop was obtained with this model.
복합유기용제 장기 노출자들의 골수충실도 평가를 위한 자기공명영상의 계량적 활용

목 적 : 자기공명영상은 골수의 지방세포와 조혈세포간의 분퐁 차이를 신호강도 차이로 구분할 수 있어 골수 충성도에 대한 평가가 가능하다. 저자들은 유기용제에 장기간 노출된 조선업체 도장공 및 대조군을 대상으로 비참습적인 방법으로 골수 충실도를 평가하는 도구를 개발하기위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방 법 : 1998녀 8월부터 2000년 1월까지 조선소 도장공 중 1개 대학병원에서 유기용제 장기간 사용으로 인한 골수검사 결과 저세포성 골수로 진단 받은 환자 6명(남자 5명, 여자 1명; 평균연령 환자군 46.5세)을 대상으로 말초혈액이 혈액학적 검사, 골수검사 및 요추부 자기공명영상을 실시하였다. 대조군으로는 동일 병원에서 요추부 자기공명영상을 촬영한 환자 132명(남 67명, 여자 65명, 연령 평균 42.5세, 범위 30-59세)을 선정하였다. 요추부 자기공명영상은 T1 및 T2 강조영상의 시상 단면에서 제 12 흉추부터 제 1 천추사이의 추체에서 각반드시 신호강도를 기록하였다. 기준 부위로는 동일 단면의 척추주위근 및 지방조직의 산호강도를 이용하여 각 부위에서 측정한 신호강도를 나누어 골수 신호강도지표를 구하였다. 결 과 : 환자군의 골수 충실도는 20.33-33.6 %이었고 혈액검사상 백혈구수는 2,100-7,600/㎣이었다. 환자군과 대조군 모두에서 각 지표는 제 12흉추에서 아래로 내려갈수록 점차 감소하였다가 제 4 요추 이후 다시 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 환자군과 대조군간의 골수 신호강도지표를 비교하였을 때 T1 강조영상에서 척추주위근을 기준으로 한 골수 신호강도지표가 환자군과 대조군간의 차이를 가장 잘 반영하였으며 환자군이 모든 추체에서 유의하게 높았다. (p<0.05, p<0.01). 대조군의 골수 신호강도지표는 T1 강조영상이 척추주위근을 기준으로 측정하였을 때 여성에서 연령 증가에 따라 모든 측정점에서 골수 신호강도지표는 증가하는 양상을 보였으며 30대와 50대간의 차이는 유의하였다. (p<0.05, p<0.01). 성별에 따른 골수 신호강도지표는 근육을 기준으로 한 골수 신호강도지표에서는 보이지 않았으나 비장을 기준으로 한 골수 신호강도지표는 남녀간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. (p<0.05). 다변량 선형회귀분석에서 연령 및 성별을 보정하였을 때 T1 강조영상의 근육을 기준으로 한 골수 신호강도지표는 환자군에서 대조군에 비하여 제 1 천추에서 0.364 더 높았다. 제 1 천추의 T1 근육을 기준으로 한 골수 신호강도지표의 연령 성별 평균+1 표준편차를 기준으로 하였을 때 6명 중 5명이 그 이상이 분포를 보여 두 군간의 차이가 가장 뚜렷하였다. 결 론 : 저자들은 자기공명영상을 이용하여 골수 충실도를 평가하기 위한 지표를 개발하였고 정상 참고치를 제시하였다. 골수 신호강도지표는 지방조직 함량, 골밀도함께 칼슘 등의 영향을 동시에 반영하지만 이러한 영향을 적절히 보정할 경우 고위험집단에서 골수 충실도를 평가하는데 활용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 보다 좋은 지표의 개발을 위하여 충분한 표본수를 가진 저세포성 골수 환자집단을 대상으로 후속연구를 수행할 필요가 있다. Objectives : To develop a quantitative and noninvasive method of bone marrow cellularity evaluation in solvent exposed painters. Methods : Six painters (mean 46.5 years, 5 males and one female with hypocellular marrow, and 132 controls were examined using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). A full examination of the peripheral blood and a bone marrow biopsy was done on each patient. Signal intensities were measured at the vertebral bodies from T12 to S1 on both the T1 and the T2-weighted image (T1WI and T2WI). Signal indices were calculated by dividing the signal indeces of the vertebral bodies by that of the paraspinal muscle and the subcutaneous fat in the same view. Results : The Bone marrow cellularities of the cases painters were between 20.3 % and 33.6 %. Signal indices based on the muscle at T1WI were greater in the cases of the painters compared to those of the controls (p<0.05, p<0.01). Signal indices based on the muscle at T1WI were significantly higher in older women compared with men (p<0.05). After adjusting for age and gender, the signal index of cases at S1 based on muscle of T1WI was higher than that of the controls by 0.364. Five of the six cases had a muscle signal index at S1 of T1WI higher than the mean + 1 standard deviation for the same age group and gender. Conclusions : MR signal indices are influenced by constitutional factors such as fat content. bone density, and the presence of other pathology. However, after adequate adjustment, it can be used as a useful indicator of bone marrow cellularity in a high-risk population.

Single crystals of ?? over the range 0.0≤χ≤0.46 were grown by the modified chemical transport reaction technique. The structural and optical properties of the ?? single crystals were investigated at room temperature from X-ray powder diffraction and optical absorption measurements. It has been found that the ?? has a wurtzite structure over the investigated composition range. The lattice constants of a and c vary linearly with composition. The band gap varies linearly with composition, which is represented by a linear relationship Eg(χ)=1.742+1.813 χ.
引張拘束 龜裂試驗에 依한 ABS EH32鋼 熔接部의 低溫龜裂 感受性

Cracking of the welded zone of high strength steel is one of the most important factors of weldability and many kinds of test methods have been proposed to study that. In this study, cold cracking susceptibility of welded zone for high strength steel (ABS EH32 steel) with the shielded metal are welding was investigated by the tensile restraint cracking test. Effects of diffects of diffusible hydrogen contents on root cracking, lower critical stress, crack initiation and fracture method, hardness distribution of the welded zone and fractography were mainly investigated. The wet electrodes with higher diffusible hydrogen contents showed lower the critical lower stress level than the dried ones. Because of the hydrogen embrittlement, the heat affected zone by using the wet electrodes had higher hardness values than that by using the dried ones. Fracture surface of the heat affected zone with the wet electrodes showed mainly brittle fracture (intergranular and cleavage) and that of the weld metal also showed partially that due to the hydrogen embrittlement.

Rapid prototyping can fabricate physical models directly from the CAD models. Since actual production of a physical model using traditional techniques has been quite expensive, a prototyping apparatus like Stereolithography can recently be used to get physical verification of a product design rapid and economic. This, however, still costs some expenses enough to take an interest in more economic methods, visual simulation techniques. Development of an intermediate geometric model of the product design and careful inspection of its virtual shape before the real fabrication take no physical cost. In this paper we propose an image simulation method especially for supporting an rapid prototyping application. The method can demonstrate its capability of image simulation by comparing the simulated images with their physical models.
