As the development of the internet, there are increasingly online shoppers around the world engaging in the e-commerce actives, and more people prefer to buy the large household appliances on line. However, there are few quantitative studies on the investigation of the main affecting factors of the desire to purchase the large household appliances online focused on the market in China, which is one of the developing countries with the highest online population growth. This paper is an attempt to identify the main factors affecting the online shopping of the large household appliances from the e-commerce websites in China, and Fisher’s exact test is applied to identify the main affecting factors of online shopping desire. The results could be the guideline for the e-commerce companies in terms of improving their sales of the large household appliances.
Hypoglycemic Effects of Glycosaminoglycan from Urechis unicinctus in Diabetic Mice
Chunying Yuan,Ping Liu,Xu Han,Qingman Cui 한국식품영양과학회 2015 Journal of medicinal food Vol.18 No.2
To further utilize glycosaminoglycan from Urechis unicinctus, the hypoglycemic effect and possible mechanism of glycosaminoglycan on diabetic mice were evaluated. Diabetes was induced in mice by intraperitoneal injections of streptozotocin for 3 consecutive days and fed with high-sugar and high-lipid fodder. After diabetes was confirmed, the hypoglycemic effect of glycosaminoglycan from U. unicinctus was investigated in the diabetic mice. Results demonstrated that glycosaminoglycan could significantly decrease blood glucose concentrations, HOMA-IR, AUG, and liver MDA content in diabetic mice. In addition, it significantly enhanced liver SOD and GSH-Px activity, as well as liver GCK activity and hepatic glycogen levels. Glycosaminoglycan from U. unicinctus exhibited efficacy against diabetes, suggesting its potential use as a natural intervention against diabetes.
Polysiponia morrowii Extract Inhibits Cancer Growth on CT-26 and Hela cells
Chunying Zhang,Seon-Heui Cha 한국해양바이오학회 2020 한국해양바이오학회지 Vol.12 No.2
Cancer is an unfavorable human disease, and the treatment commonly have side effects and can be ineffective. Since exploration and development of cancer treatment drugs is particularly demanding, this study aimed to investigate the anticancer activities of Polysiponia morrowii extracts (PME) on CT-26 and HeLa cells. The results showed that PME inhibited cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner, with IC50 values of 41.04% in CT-26 and 48.51% in HeLa cell cultures. Moreover, cytological observation using Hoechst 33342 staining assay showed typical apoptotic morphology in both cancer cells, and production of sub-G1 DNA was induced by PME treatment in a dose-dependent manner, with 34.41% in CT-26 and 46.01% in HeLa cell cultures. These findings suggest that PME may have potential preventive effects or medicinal value in the treatment of colorectal and cervical cancers.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) have posed serious public health problems, accounting for nearly 30% of mortality worldwide and their incidence is still increasing. Therefore, new treatment resources are necessary to prevent or manage the ever-increasing population of patients with CVDs. Sea cucumber is well known for its medical and health benefit effects, but it is not well known what/how effect it has on vascular disease. In the present study, we examined the protect effect of sea cucumber, Apostichopus japonicus 80% ethanol extract (AJE) on zebrafish embryo with the stimulation of free fatty acid, palmitate (PA). In vivo study showed that AJE can attenuate PA-induced toxicity through relieving the rapid heartbeat, increasing the survival rate and reducing the malformation in both wild type and Tg (fli1a:eGFP) transgenic zebrafish lines. Additionally, compare with PA treated embryos, the yolk sac area, body length, axial vascular segment (AVS) and intersegmental vessel (ISV) of the co-treatment group of AJE and PA were comparable to the control group. Moreover, AJE lowered the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), nitric oxide (NO) and inflammation-related genes induced by PA, and inhibited PA-induced vascular development disorders. Our data preliminarily verify that AJE could be a candidate resource for the prevention or therapy of CVDs.
