Pastor Han, Seok Jin was a member of spontaneous church community in the beginning of Korean christianity and also one of church leaders who influenced a lot that Korean church became as the religion of the Korean people. He was one of ‘Youth of Ui-Joo’, which was strongly connected with ‘voluntary Korean christian community’ started in Manchuria. He intervened between foreign missionary’s community in Korea and voluntary Korean church community actively. At the same time, he helped ‘foreign missionary community’ to adapt in the new circumstances and to do their ministry in Korea. Later on, he received critically the mission strategy of foreign missionaries in Korea, and became a prominent leader to establish Korean's church by the korean. He was a Christian nationalist. He was the leader who strongly concerned about Korean church ‘by Korean people’, ‘for Korean people’, ‘of Korean people’. The subject of the thesis is about pastor Han's leadership in Korean Churches, who was one of outstanding seven leaders in the beginning of korean church. We will research various aspects of Han's Pastoral Leadership, especially 7 aspects - 1) Leadership Seeking after Truth, 2) Leadership from Self-sacrifice and Devotion, 3) Reformal Leadership, 4) Traditional Leadership, 5) Self-independental Leadership, 6) Ecumenical Leadership, 7) Leadership Seeking in Mind for National Direction In conclusion, we'll survey korean church historical meaning of Pastor Han's Leadership.

The subject of the thesis is about pastor Han’s mission in Japan, who was one of outstanding leaders in the beginning of Korean Churches. Actually, it is difficult for us to find the fact that he had a concern about the mission for foreigner, because he was kind of nationalist. He was the leader who strongly concerned about korean church by korean people. Nevertheless, it is true that he was the first Korean missionary to Japan dispatched by Korean Churches. His main purpose as a missionary in Japan was to establish Church for Korean students studying there. If he had chances to share the Gospel with Japanese, it was beyond his original mission purpose. Actually, he was dispatched only one month by Korean Presbyterian Churches. So it cause something dispute that about his position as a missionary. In today’s viewpoint, it could be possible we call him ‘short-term missionary’ instead of real missionary. But, important thing is his mission in Japan has enough meaning in Korean Churches History. In the paper, as considering pastor Han’s Limitation as a missionary in Japan, I’d like to present important value to make us think of ‘mission perspective’ as a ‘gospel receiver’ through his life and thoughts as one of leaders in Korean churches. For the pre-understanding of this study, at first we’ll search the history of Christian relationship between Korea and Japan in the late of 19th century. In fact, I think Korean Churches owe Japan Christianity a lot from the first step. After that, we’ll study Korean Churches historical meaning of Han’s short term mission in Japan, and then think over the right mission perspective through pastor Han’s national consciousness. Mostly articles about missiology has a aspect of ‘mission-sender’, so this kind of ‘mission perspective’ as a ‘mission-receiver’ would be a good lesson in the Korean Churches for the World Mission.

Exhaustivity, Genericity and vP-external Subjects

Chung, Han-byul. 2017. Exhaustivity, Genericity and vP-external Subjects. Studies in Generative Grammar. 27-3, 591-610. The source of exhaustivity observed in some i/ka-marked DPs in Korean has been a point of controversy among linguists (Schütze 1996, Yoon 2004, Choi 2005, among others). In this paper, I argue that the exhaustivity is a result of movement to a functional projection outside of the vP, presumably to [Spec, FP] (cf. Kiss 1998). The proposed movement is mostly not visible at the surface, due to Korean being a head-final language. However, subjects located outside of the vP show difference in their behaviors with regards to genericity and presuppositionality (Diesing 1992), and those behaviors are observed in exhaustive i/ka-marked DPs, but not in non-exhaustive i/ka-marked DPs. That exhaustivity in Korean is attained via movement is in accordance with observation made by Kiss (1998) that identificational focus in English and German are attained via movement.

바나나 과실 함유탄닌이 소화효소 작용에 미치는 영향

바나나 과실을 시중에서 구입하여 미숙과실과 황숙과실로 구별하고 이것을 과육부분과 과피부분으로 나누어서 동결건조 및 열풍건조시켜 실험 시료로서 사용하였다. 탄닌 함량을 분석한 결과 황숙과실 보다도 미숙과실에서 높았으며, 과육보다는 과피에서 열풍건조 보다는 동결건조시킨 시료에서 높은 경향을 나타내었다. 탄닌의 분획은 Sephadex LH-20칼럼을 사용하여 분획하였다. 바나나 과실에서 함유하고 있는 탄닌은 prodelphinidin, procyanidin을 구성단위로 하는 proanthocyanidin류의 축합성 탄닌으로 이러한 탄닌은 소화효소인 trypsin(EC 3. 1. 1. 3), α-amylase(EC 3. 4. 21. 4), lipase(EC 3. 2. 1. 1)에 대하여 in vitro에 있어서 저해작용을 가지고 있는 것이 확인되었으며 또한 탄닌은 중합도가 높을수록 저해율이 높다는 것이 확인되었다. It has been shown that tannins have adverse effects on growth of animals and feed utilization. Tannins are usually classified into hydrolyzable and condensed types but the adverse effects are more marked in condensed tannin in hydrolyzable tannin. Furthermore, the principle condensed tannins found in banana fruits are pro types by the polymerization of flavan-3, 4-diols either alone or in combination with other flavonoids such as catechins. Tannin of the investigated banana(Banana;Musa sapientum LINN)fruits was fractionated into four or five molecular forms, according to the degree of polymerization by chromatography on a column of Sephadex LH-20. The protein-precitating capacity of the fraction noted tannins increased in degree polymerzation. The inhibitory effect of tannins on trypsin(EC 3. 4. 21. 4), α-amylase(EC 3. 2. 1. 1) and lipase(EC 3. 1. 1. 3) activities in vitro also increased with the increased in degree of polymerization.

HBV : Dynamic Change of HBsAg Titer during Anti-Viral Therapy in Treatment-Na?ve Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B

Background/Aims: Quantitative HBsAg (qHBsAg) titers are emerging as useful tools for measuring viral load and predicting predicting virologic response (VR). This study aimed to determine whether serial monitoring of HBsAg levels could predict virologic response to entecavir(ETV) & clevudine(CLV) therapy in treatment-naive patients with CHB Methods: A total of 157 treatment-naive patients with CHB, who visited Chung-Ang University Hospital between January 2007 and December 2008, were enrolled in this study (100 males). 97 patients(69 males, mean age 48) were treated with ETV for average 53 months, and 60 patients (31 males, mean age 43) were treated with CLV for 26months average. HBsAg levels were measured at baseline, week 12, 24, and 48. All patients were assessed for virological response (HBV DNA<140 copies/mL). Serum HBV DNA was quantified using the real time PCR assay (Artus HBV LC PCR Kit, Roche Diagnostics, lower limit of quantification, 140 copies/mL). Results: In 97 ETV-treated patients, the rates of virological response were 56.7% (55/97) at 48months and 60 CLV-treated patients, 30% (18/60) at 24 months, respectively. Mean reduction of baseline HBV DNA was -5.3, and -4.9 log10 copies/mL. In 55 VR patients treated with ETV, 43(78.1%) patients showed early decline of HBsAg titer and 31(56.3%) patients had lower baseline HBsAg levels (< 3.7 log IU/mL). In 18 VR patients treated with CLV, 9(50%) patients showed early decline of HBsAg titer and 11(61.1%) patients had also lower baseline HBsAg levels (< 3.7 log IU/mL) . Conclusions: Early decline of HBsAg was useful for predicting VR, and baseline HBsAg could be indicative as well in CHB patients treated with ETV than patients treated with CLV.

대장균의 전사조절 유전자 nlp의 분자기구 해석

An nlp (Ner like protein) gene from E. coli was previously cloned and sequenced. Here was show that expression of the sugar metabolism related genes, lacZ, malQ, and malP, increased 2.5- to 8.3-fold in the presence of a plasmid containing the nlp gene. This suggested that the nlp gene could induce maltose- and lactose-metabolism coordinately with crp*1 in the absence of cAMP. Using the nlp-lacZ fusion gene, it was possible to show the promoter of nlp was active in vivo. The overexpressed nlp gene product, a polypeptide of 10,000 daltons, was confirmed by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The band shift assay revealed that the partially purified Nlp protein bound a specific DNA of the regulatory region of the nlp gene.

대장균의 전사조절 유전자 nlp의 분자기구 해석

대장균의 nlp(Ner like protein) 유전자를 클로닝하여 구조해석을 한 결과 전사조절 단백질인 Ner와는 61%의 높은 상동성을 가지고 있음을 이미 보고한 바 있다. 본 연구는 당 대사 관련 유전자의 발현 조절을 보고자 nlp 유전자를 도입시켜 tac promoter에 의해 대량 발현시킴으로서 lactose대사 관련 유전자 lacZ와 maltose 대사 관련 유전자인 malQ, malP의 유전자 발현이 2.5배에서 최고 8.3배 정도까지 증가됨을 확인하였다. 이는 nlp유전자가 cAMP비존재하에 crp*1와 상호작용하여 maltose및 lactose대사를 촉진시킴을 시사한다. nlp-lacZ 융합 유전자 산물을 Immunoblotting하여 분석한 결과 nlp의 promoter가 in vivo 상태에서 발현되어짐을 확인하였다. tac promoter와 IPTG에 의하여 nlp유전자 산물을 대량 발현시킨 결과 약 10,000Da의 산물을 SDS-poly-acrylamide gel 전기영동으로서 확인하였으며, 부분 정제된 Nlp단백질을 조절 영역의 DNA단편에 결합함으로서 전사조절에 관여하는 것으로 사료되어졌다. 서울의 Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae 발생빈도(1998)

In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.
