To evaluate tensile behavior of groove-welded joints with alien substance, poor welding conditions, inserting an alien substance, are intentionally introduced in groove-welded joints which are widely used for joint connections in steel construction. Based on the results from the tensile tests, modulus of elasticity, tensile strength, failure mechanism, and the percent of elongation for the joints are investigated in this study. Tensile test results proved that modulus of elasticity was not affected by inserting an alien substance. Form the tensile test results on these joints with an alien substance, however, tensile strength, failure mechanism and the percent of elongation are strongly affected by the size and shape of alien substance introduced in the welded joints.
자외선 (UVB) 노출 증가에 대한 피부암 위해도 예측 모델의 적용

A decrease in stratospheric ozone probably caused by chloroflurocarbons (CFCs) emissions, has been observed large parts of the globe. It is generally accepted that if ozone levels in the stratosphere are depleted, greater amounts of shortwave ultraviolet radiation-B (UVB) will reach the earth's surface, resulting in increased incidence of nonmelanoma skin cancer. In this study, we evaluated several mathematical models, such as a power and an exponential model, and a geometric model considering the surface area of a human body part and ages for the prediction of skin cancer incidence caused by exposure to the UVB radiation. These models basically estimated the risk of skin cancer based on those measurements of the local ozone in stratosphere and UVB. Both were measured at a part of Seoul with a Dobson ozone spectrometer and Robertson-Berger UV Biometer for 1995. As a result, we calculated the point estimation applying a biological amplification factor (BAF), UVB radiation and other factors. We used a Monte-Carlo simulation technique with assumption on the distribution of each considered factor. The sensitivity analysis of model by there components conducted using Gaussian sensitivity method. The annual integral of UVB radiation was 2275 MED (minimal erythema dose)/yr. Also, an estimate of the annual amount of UVB reaching the earth's surface at a korea's latitude and altitude was 3328 MED/yr. The values of the radiation amplification factor (RAF) were ranged from 0.9 to 1.5 in Seoul. To give the effective factors required to model the prediction of skin cancer incidence caused by exposure to the UVB radiation in Korea, we studied the pros and cons of above mentioned models with the application of those parameters measured in Seoul, Korea.
유도전동기 벡터제어 시스템을 이용한 속응제어에 관한 연구

In this paper, the flux vector should be precisely estimated. But, in the speed sensorless control, it is difficult to estimate the flux due to the influence of leakage reactance drops. Therefore, the proper flux estimation method is required. Also, considering with explanation an influence of speed estimation mechanism depend on error about the second resistance size established, it estimates the deviation of the second resistance establishment and exhibits a compensation method, what is more, it designs a reparation program using the fuzzy algorithm and testifies the result with the computer simulation. In consequence, it makes a good result for more powerful vector control system about the outside trouble. In this paper, Induction motor speed and torque are usually controlled by the following three ways : slip frequency control, vector control and torque constant control. But there have been little analyses on the transient characteristics in these methods. Furthermore, since the control system is complex and/or has much problems in its implementation and transient characteristics, it is relatively difficult to apply these methods to the rapid response control for the precision machinery in these days.

아크리놀은 살균,소독에 쓰이는 약물로서 연로제 및 지사제용도의 경구투여제제등게 이용되고 있다. 공정서에 수재된 아크리놀의 분석법은 적정법이고 제제에서늬 분석법은 확립되지 않았고 원료의 적정법을 제제에 적용시 다른 주성분이나 부형제 또는 안정제 드으이 영향으로 분석오차가 생길 우려가 있다. 따라서 아크리놀을 보다 신속·정확하게 확인 및 정량분씬을 할 수 있고 강도와 분리능이 우수한 HPLC를 이용하여 아크리놀을 분석하고자 하였다. MPLC 분석조건은 이동상 :아세료니트릴 · 1% 인산일수소나트륨혼합액(40:60)(p템 5.2), 칼랏 :옥타데실실릴화한 실리카칼럼,검출기 :자외부흡광광도계(측정파장 : 254nm)을 사용하여 양호한 결과를 얻었다. 틴PLC법의 분석 결과, 검량선의 상관계수는 0.9999, 재현성(aSD(%))은 0.5234. 정균회수율은 100.28%(RSD=0.89%)로 정량성 및 재현성이 높온 분석 결과를·얻었다. 또한 시판품에 대하여 려PLC분석법과 공정서에 수재된 적정법의 시칩결과를 비교하였을 때 핀Plf법인 더욱 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있었으므로, 조작이 간편하고 재현성이 높은 딘PLC분석법을 약전차정의 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다. We describe a method for the determination of acrino1 and its preparations by HPLC. The optimum analrtical coriditions were as follows;column : u-Bondapak C_(18) mobile phase : acetonitrile 1% Na_(2)HPO_(4), buffer (40:60)(pH 5.2), detector : 254nm, flow rate 1.OmL/min, injection volumn : 5uL, The calibration curve at 254nm was linear within the range of 10 ~ 140㎍/mL. This HPLC method has been validated to be precise, accurate and linear. This method has also been found to be applicable to other formulations containing acrinol.

‘제시스위트’는 제주도에 위치한 농촌진흥청 난지농업연구소에서 육성한 고당도의 녹색과육 참다래 신품종이다. ‘Apple Sensation’을 모본으로 하고 ‘Tomuri’를 부본으로 하여 1998년에 교배를 실시하였다. 실생육성과 계통선발은 1999년에서 2000년까지 실시하고 2001년에서 2003년까지 특성검정을 실시하였다. 그후 농가재배 가능성을 검토하기 위하여 2004년부터 2006년까지 제주지역의 참다래 농장에 접목을 실시하여 현장실증연구를 실시하였다. 수세는 ‘헤이워드’보다 약간 강한 편이었으며 잎의 상부는 암녹색을 나타내었다. 과실의 형태는 타원형이었고 과피는 녹황색을 나타내었으며 갈색의 털이 있다. 평균과중은 106.9g이고 과심은 부드러웠다. 과육색은 녹색으로 과즙이 많고 부드러웠다. 당도는 17.8°Bx로 ‘헤이워드’보다 높았으며 산도는 0.25%로 낮았다. 수확기는 11월 중순으로 ‘헤이워드’와 유사하였고 2℃에서 60일 정도 저장이 가능하였다. 이 품종은 저온과 병해를 피하기 위하여 제주지역의 해발 100m 이하의 비가림 재배하에서 재배하는 것이 좋을 것으로 판단되었다. ‘Jecy Sweet’ is a new promising kiwifruit variety developed at the National Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Rural Development Administration, located in Jeju Island, Korea for green flesh and high soluble solids content. The cross between Actinidia chinensis cv. ‘Apple Sensation’ and A. deliciosa cv. ‘Tomuri’ was conducted in 1998. Seedling and line selections were conducted from 1999 to 2000, and characteristic trials were carried out from 2001 to 2003. After selection was made, adaptability test was also conducted at kiwifruit orchards in Jeju Island from 2004 to 2006. Shoots of ‘Jecy Sweet’ sprout slightly strongly and color of upper-side of leaf is dark green. Fruit shape is ellipsoid, and fruit skin color is yellowish-green with medium brown hair. Average fruit weight is 106.9 g. Fruit has large and soft core, green pericarp and fragile and juicy flesh. Compared with ‘Hayward’, ‘Jecy Sweet’ showed higher soluble solids content of 17.8 °Bx and lower total acid content of 0.25%. The harvesting time is mid-November, almost the same as ‘Hayward’. Fruits can be stored for about 60 days at 2℃. This variety can be recommended for cultivating below 100 m sea level in Jeju Island and should be grown under shelter to prevent disease and cold injury.
