        Through the classroom teaching research meeting, the Korean Teacher`s Association established the educational problem that our educational world is facing and intended to reform classroom teaching and education in quality. This study is to examine the actual condition of the research such as that in the center of classroom teaching research to mathematics sectional report of which the Korean Teacher`s Association have charge in the area of Chungnam in 1991.

      • 소각장 환경영향평가시 수은 배출 계수에 관한 연구

        The amount of mercury emitted from an incinerator depends on the properties of waste, combustion condition, and control devices. Mercury concentration in air proportionates to the increase of incinerator installation. The purpose of this study is to provide a method for determination of mercury emission factor which can predict the amount of mercury emitted from each incinerator specifically. Case study was performed for N municipal waste incinerator. Based on the method presented in this paper, we obtained mercury emission factor as 1.85∼1.95g Hg/t at N Municipal waste Incinerator and this result was regarded as reasonable when compared with existing mercury emission factor in reference cases. Fluorescent lamps turned out to be the most important source(44.4%) of mercury in municipal waste and its amount will tend to increase, while batteries less significants. In additions, medical waste is one of the major source of mercury.

      • 수학과 현장 교육 연구의 실태에 관한 조사 연구

        The teaching is highly specialized and skillful work which required a teacher to possess a specialized knowledge and skill of those obtained through continual and intensive research activities. In order to survive and enjoy prosperity, especially under the flooded circumstance of new datum of informations, knowledges and infinity brain competitive status between one nation to the other, the education is the mastery and key power to overcome, or at lesat withstand, such tense of international relationship. To contribute toward betterment of mathematic education as well as promote scientifical technology fully based on the research report from the mathematic teams set forced on Chungnam by on the Spot Education Research Institute of Korean Federation of Teacher`s Association during the year between 1992 to 1995, the following result were discovered. 1. The forms and substances and method of education shall be based and accorded on the circumstance of the actuallity of the spot because on the spot education is the key to renovates the actual spot education. 2. Noticeablly incleased in research work toward problem solving, however, the result was too far to reach of adequate generalization. 3. There were numbers of displayment, highly computerized, however, they are way too far to reach toward CAI staneard. 4. The result of the researches were too coarsness to apply in practical use in compare to the substances of the subject. 5. The teaching materials must be prepared(manufactured) upon completion of sufficient study on theoretical foundations. 6. The educators must be fully possessed the knowledge of concreteness and should be developed under the ample consideration of multishape of educationl environment. 7. Despit the intensive statement from research team there seems lack of result from comparative equitability dispotion. 8. Felt at loss without having a statistical disposition in obtaining the result of research. 9. Insufficient in detailization of main cause of making error and method of correction. 10. The research work must be fully refrlected and based on the creative power of originality.

        Riemann 2차원 다양체에 대한 Gauss-Bonnet의 정리를 2-Simplex의 경우를 통해서 고찰하였다. We now show that the curvature K of M measures the amount of rotation obtained in parallel translating vectors around small closed curve in M. Let M be an oriented Riemannian 2-manifold and let 〈s〉 be an oriented 2-simplex in R2, and let h: [s]→M be a map which has a smooth extension mapping a neighborhood of [s] into M, let α be the closed broken C∞ curve in M obtained by restricting h to ∂ 〈s〉.       • 고온고습으로 저장된 백미의 이화학적 및 취반 특성

        The quality difference of milled rice stored at a low temperature and optimum humidity(LTH) and a high temperature and humidity (HTH) was determined by the methods of acidity of fat, brown color index, reducing sugar and microflora. Moisture contents of milled rice stored at LTH and HTH for 10 weeks were 14.7% and 19.5%, respectively. Moisture content after 8 weeks of LTH and 4 weeks of HTH exceeded 13% on dry basis, growth-limiting moisture of mold. Brown color index and reducing sugar contents of milled rice stored at HTH were slightly higher than those of LTH. There was a notable difference in acidity of fat between milled and brown rice stored at HTH. The apperance(p<0.05) and texture(p<0.01) of cooked rice after storage for 10 weeks at LTH and HTH were significantly different in sensory evaluation with no significant difference in odor and taste. Mean values of breaking test in rheometer were better in LTH than in HTH for taste score. Growth of mold and bacteria in rice were not increased by storage. Rice weevil exhibited imago in brown rice and milled rice after storage of 5 weeks and HTH. Milled rice stored at LTH for 2 weeks did not absorb Kimchi odor from refrigerated chamber.

      • 오존 및 紫外線 照射에 의한 汚水의 複合酸化

        In case the wastewater contained various pollutants was treated with the complex oxidation treatment method utilizing the ozone and ultra-violet radiation, the removal rates of BOD, COD, SS, Tirbidity and E.Coli according to the ozone contact concentration were excellent. The following conclusions were obtained from the experimental results : 1. When the ozone contact concentration was above 12.lmg/l, the BOD removal rate and the effluent BOD concentration were above 90% and below 10mg/l, and then the COD removal rate was above 90%, also. 2. When the ozone contact concentration was above 12.lmg/l, the SS removal rate was about 60% at 40, 50 mins. of hydraulic retention time, but the removal rate was down to 40% at 60mins. of HRT. 3. When the ozone contact concentration was above 5.2mg/l, the E.Coli removal rate was about 100% without the hydraulic retention time.

      • 유산균(L.lactis CBT-8)및 발효 추출물의 Helicobacter pylori 억제 능력

        Helicobacter pylori infection was the cause of chronic gastritis, duodenal ulcer and gastric MALT lymphoma. The eradication rates of H. pylori using antibiotics are around 80%. Lactobacilli have been demonstrated to have in vivo and in vitro inhibitory effects on H. pylori infection. We aimed to evaluate the inhibitory effect of L. lactis CBT-8 and its extract on H. pylori in human stomach. Thirty-five H. pylori-infected volunteers(30-49 yr)were randomized into two groups which were treated with L. lactis CBT-8 and its extract(Group A n=17) or milk containing L. lactis CBT-8(Group B, n=18). They underwent 13C-urea breath tests before and after treatment. The DOB30 of group A(n=14) was decreased 41.0% after treatment(26.0±4.9 before, 15.3±2.1 after treatment)(p<0.05). the DOB30 of group B(n=13) was decreased 22.3% after treatment(22.0±2.2 before, 17.1±1.7 after treatment)(p<0.05). In conclusion, L. lactis CBT-8 was effective in suppressing H. pylori infection in human stomach.

        두부 외상 환자의 고혈당과 예후와의 상관관계

        Severe head injury is associated with a stress response that includes hyperglycemia, which has been shown to worse outcome during cerebral ischemia. To better define the relationship between head injury and hyperglycemia, admission glucose level were analyzed in 150 head injured patients from January 1995 to December 1995. Our retrospective study demonstrated a higher glucose level in patients with low Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS) score, especially at 3-5 GCS score, compared to those with high GCS scores. Also a higher glucose level was noted in patients with vegetative state and dead than in those with good recovery and moderate disability. Hyperglycemia(serum glucose level≥200mg%) was associated with decreased level of consciousness and a poor outcome. We conclude that admission hyperglycemia is a significant indicator of severity of injury(p<0.001), but not significant predictor outcome from head injury. After controlling for the influence of the GCS score, glucose levels do not have an independent effect on outcome.
