      • 燐酸에 依한 安定處理士의 構造와 工學的 性質의 相關性에 關한 硏究

        Three kinds of sample soils, Granite weathered soil, Kaoline, and Sea layer soil were stably treated by adding phosphoric acid as stabilized materials, and experimented with physical and chemical ways. Reaction and dynamics experiments were carried out for the stably treated soils. While the formation of generated minerals was analyzed by x-ray diffraction experiment, the effects of the variation of the formation on the revealed strength of treated soils were studied with quantitative and qualitative analyses, and related properties were investigated.

      • 신생아의 병적황달에 대한 임상혈액학적 고찰

        A clinical and hematological observation was performed on 398 nowborn infants with hyperbilirubinemia who were admitted 10 the Department of Pediatrics, Chosun University Hospital from January, 1980 ro June, 1985. The following results were obtained 1) The incidence of hyperbilirubinemia was more frequent in male(63.8%) than in female(36.2%) 2) In the observation of the gestational period, its incidence was highest in full-term neonate(70%) and the next was pre-term neonate (25%) 3) In the observation of the delivery type, the incidence was highest in neonates with normal delivery(82.0%) and the next was c-section delivery (11.0%) 4) Idiopathic hyperbilirubinemia was the most common cause of pathological hyperbilirubinemia and the next wero breast-fed induced jaundice(10.4%), infection(9.3%), blood incompatibility(8.6%) in frequent of order. 5) The most common blood types of mother-baby in ABO blood incompatibility was 0-A (48.5%) and the next was O-B(42.5%) 6) The exchange transfusion were performed on 34 cases(8.5%). The mean serum bilirubin levels before exchange transfusion were 26.7±4.9㎎% in the cases of idiopathic hyperbilirubinemia(14 cases) and 25.9±6.5㎎% in the cases of blood incompatibility (17 cases). 7) The mean bilirubin levels before and after the exchange transfusion were 26.4㎎% and 11.9㎎% respectively and reducing rate of the bilirubin by exchange transfusion was 55%. Second exchange transfusion was performed in 2 cases(5.8%).

      • 廣域光陽灣地域의 機能配置에 關한 硏究

        The wide area of kwangyang Bay will be, in the 2000s, developed into a met­roploise with the main functions such as those of manufacturing industry, shipp­ing industry and harbor works, tourist and service industry. Such a development of the said area but to the development of national economy through attempting a balanced development of our country and solving the social disadvantages caused by centralization and accumulation. With this development of the area of kwanghang Bay, Sunchon-city not only as a center of culture, education and distribution but also as a comprehensive resea-rch complex of agriculture and industry should carry out a head function in the wide area of kwnagyang Bay. It should also establish Yeochon-city as stronghold of tourism and marine transportation and make the city at the rear of kwangyang Bay carry out the synthesized function as both a port and industrial city. Yeochon city should be developed into a residential area in the back of Yeo-chon Industry Complex : the city in the back of Yulchon should be developed in to the city with the function of a garden city. In addition, with the view of meeting the great increase in tourism demand, recreation facilities should be provided, and a closer connection with the sight-seeing areas of Jiri Mountain and Hanryosudo should be also built up. For the rational distribution and the full use of all functions of the wide area of kwangyang Bay, the expansion of social indirect capital such as the de-velopment of road, harbor, airport should be given the precedence.

      • Saccharomyces cerevisiae에서 Trichoderma Endoglucanase의 발현과 분비

        The endoglucanase gene, egl6, of Trichoderma sp. was connected with the yeast ADH1 promoter, and the resultant plasmid, pVT-C4, was introduced into three S. cerevisiae host strains (YNN27, 2805, and SEY2102). Among each 80 transformants, the cell growth and expression level of endoglucanase were compared in test-tube cultivation, and three respective transformants for each host cells showing the highest expression level and cell growth were selected. When three recombinant yeast cells were batchwise cultivated for 48 hr in flask, the total activities of endoglucanase expressed were about 1140 unit/1 with 2805/pVT-C4, 1020 unit/l with SEY2102/pVT-C4, and 590 unit/l with (YNN27/pVT-C4. Irrespective of host strain, about 80% of the expressed endoglucanase was detected in the extracellular medium. In addition, it was also found that the recombinant enzyme was secreted into the culture medium as two major forms of lightly and heavily glycosylated proteins.

      • AMT 導入過程의 戰略計劃과 主要成功要因

        The enhanced competition has been led to rapid market changes with shorter product life cycles causing firms to specialize in high quality product. With rapid market changes and smaller market segments, companies have difficulty in achiving ecnomies of scale in a single product production. For this reason, firms about automation and advanced manufacturing technology(AMT) have been focuced on the opportunities provided by economies of scope, which exists in the production of multiple products. There are many examples of organizations which have travelled the manufacturing automation path only to finish up with islands of automation or inappropriate technologies. While some of the physical problems have been resolved, through developments in areas such as MAP/TOP, companies are still faced with the problem of formulating and developing AMT plan - especially CIM(computer integrated manufacturing) plan, which will support the overall corporate strategy. In the planning process, firms have to approach AMT strategically in applying it to integrate their various functions. As one of those strategic planning methods, CSF(critical success factors) is possible to be developed and used with the advanced of manufacturing and other functions. This study developed the AMT planning methodology introduced in CSF to assist the planning process. Hopefully, this overview of the AMT and CIM planning methodology has reinforced the opening remarks of this paper, in particular, that: ·AMT planning is not a technical exercise but is very much a part of business strategy development. ·MAP and TOP have only resolved intergration problems, and in no way have obviated the need for planning. ·AMT planning is a complex exercise, involving a mixture of skills and expertise right through the organization, not just manufacturing. The AMT methodology and it's CSFs discussed briefly in this paper, treated CIM in its broadest sense. Computer Integrated Manufacturing all too often is regarded as a manufacturing strategy. If it is dealt with in this way we will only see larger islands of automation. CIM is a tool used to support an overall corporate strategy encompassing all functions with in the organiztion.

      • Soy protein formula의 품질비교 조사

        This study was conducted to investigate and compare the appearance and nutritional composition of the soy protein formulas, so as to get fundamental data for improvement of quality and competitive-power imported soy protein base formula. The results were summarized as follows: 1. In March, 1993, 3 companies were selling 3 soy base formulas which were packed in tin can, the amounts is 350-400gr. 2. Comparing the appearance of soy base formulas, here are 2 types of powder and 1 granular type. It is necessary to change the weaning food into granular type in order to improve the quality of soy base formulas. 3. The nutrient composition of macro-nutrients, vitamins and minerals are indicated in correspond with infants ages and weights. And these are suitable for recommended dietary allowances for Korean infants. It is recommended to add L-carmtine taurine, copper, vitamin-K, choline and MCT-oil which is easy to deficient in soy base formula and fructooli gosaccaride or growth promoting ingredients of the lactic-acid bacteria. 4. It is necessary to fortify for soy base formula the flavor-improving ingredients (yeast extract, sea tangle etc) like the soy bean flavor. 5. In order to imporve soy protein base formulas, it is necessary to make the products at the base of the age, weight and nutritional requirement of infants. Also, it is needed to develop high quality products which are fortified new ingredient (minor ingredients), vitamins and minerals similar to human milk ingredient.

        방선균 WCM-9가 생산하는 Polyene 항진균성 항생물질(AF1)의 생물학적 성상

        Background: Pathogenic fungi infect humans, especially immunocompromised patients, with superficial or deeply invasive pattern. In the past 20 years, fungal infections have been increased dramatically resulted by increment of organ transplantation, cancer, AIDS patients, or use of broad-spectrum antibacterial agents. Fungal infections are now important causes of morbidity and mortality of hospitalized patients. but there is no effective antifungal antibiotics as well as antibacterial antibiotics Objective: Effective new antifungal antibiotics are needed for the treatment of mycosis. So in an effort to develop effective antifungal antibiotics, we screened over 600 isolates of Streptomyces spp. from soil. Methods: Antifungal producing strain was selected using disk diffusion method, An antifungal substance (AF1) was purified with ethyl acetate extraction, silica gel column chromatography and reverse phase HPLC. MICs of AF1 were detected by agar dilition method. Results: The compound showed UV maxima of 307, 321, 340, 359 nm indicating methylpentaene. Minimum inhibitory concentrations of the AF1 were 3.7 ㎍/ml against mold, and 3.7 - 7.4 ㎍/ml against Candida species. AF1 was also active against Cryptococcus neoformans, with MIC of 0.9 ㎍/ml. The concentration of AF1 for K^+ ion release from human red blood cell and hemolysis were 5 ㎍/ml. Conclusion: The antibiotic purified from culture broth of Streptomyces sp. WCM-9 was a polyene antifungal antibiotic which have broad spectrum antifungal activity.

      • Polyamines 처리가 상추의 senescence에 미치는 영향 : 1.Senescence 중의 polyamines 함량에 따른 상추 잎의 단백질과 엽록소 손실의 억제에 대하여 1.Inhibition of Protein and Chlorophyll Loss of Lettuce Leaves as Related to Polyamine Content During Senescence

        본 실험은 상추(Lactuca sativa L.) 잎이 senescence되는 동안 방생하는 단백질과 엽록소의 손실을 억제하기 위해 처리한 polyamines의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 시행하였다. 절단되어 암상태로 배양된 잎은 senescence를 시작했으며, 단백질과 엽록소의 함량은 배양 후 24시간에서 48시간에 현저히 손실되었다. 그러나 이들 senescence 과정은 polyamines을 외부적으로 첨가함으로써 억제되었다. 특히 putrescine 0.1mM과 10mM, spermidine 0.1mM과 1mM과 10mM, 그리고 spermine 0.1mM 과 1mM은, senescence 동안의 단백질과 엽록소 손실을 억제하는데 효과가 있었으며, 그 중 1mM spermidine의 효과가 가장 컸다. These experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of polyamines which were applied to prevent the loss of protein and chlloropyll content of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) leaves during senescence. Excision and dark incubation of leaves started senescence, which was accompanied by a marked loss of endogenous protein and chlorophyll content, which started at 24-48h of incubation. But both these senescence processes were inhibited by exogeneous polyamines. Especially, 1mM and 10mM putrescine, 0.1mM and 1mM and 10mM spermidine, and 0.1mM and 1mM spermine were significantly effective in preventing protein and chlorophyll loss during senescence, and 1mM spermidine was significantly effective of all.
