대조 추출물분획이 치은 섬유아세포의 생물학적 활성화에 미치는 영향

Final goal of periodontal treatment is to reconstruct the destructed periodontal tissue as well as to remove the necrotic pathologic elements. The purpose of this study is to investigate on the effect of Zizyphi extract to the inhibitory ability on collagenolytic activity of P gingivalis, biologic activity of gingival fibroblasts and on the collagen and protein synthesis of gingival fibroblasts. Gingival fibroblast from giniva of first bicuspids from patient for orthodontic treatment were used and cultured. For the measurement of inhibitory ability of collagenolytic activity, crude enzyme was extracted and used on the basis of modified Ono's method. On the inhibition of collagenolytic enzyme from herbal extracts, collagenokit CLN-100 were used. The cellular activity of gingival fibroblast, were studied using MTT solution and measured optical density on 570mm by ELISA reader. To measure the effects on the ability of whole protein and collagen synthesis, cell membrane was destructed with ultrasonic grinder after culturing, centrifuged and counted by liquid scintilation counter. The inhibitory effects on producing of IL-1β by monocyte, after promotion of producing IL-1β by LPS, were compared with the mixture of herbal extracts and other drugs using thymocyte stimulation assay. About inhibitory·effects of PGE_2 by gingival fibroblasts, herbal extract was compared with the addition of the other control groups using enzyme immunoassay. On the inhibition of collagenolytic activity by P. gingivalis, benzene extracts showed the most efficient inhibitory effects among the l9㎍/㎖ of the compared extracts and 40.5% by Tetracycline. On the cellular activity promoting effects, compared extracts showed a bit of more effects than PDGF of l00㎍/㎖ concentration and lGF of 20㎍/㎖ concentration. All of the PDGF, 1GF, Zizyphi Fructus extract should increase in collagen synthesis, but especially 70% ethylalcohol extracts of Zizyphi Fructus showed comparably high effects among the compared extracts. Effects on whole protein synthesis were slightly increased on every extract but especially 70% ethylalcohol extract showed significantly effective than any other estract. On the inhibitory effects of Zizyphi Fructus IL-1β production by monocyte, compared extracts showed 70% of highly inhibitory effect than that of 60% inhibition effects on controlled group and each extracts showed no significant difference. In PGE_2 production inhibitroy effect of Zizyphi Fructus gingival fibroblasts, Herbal extracts showed 70% of inhibition comparing with tat of 90.2% of controlled group, but each extracts showed similar effects excluding the H_2O extracts. These results suggested that Zizyphi Fructus might be useful medicine for inhibition of inflammatory mediator including IL-1β and PGE_2·

혼합치열기 Ⅱ급 1류 부정교합 어린이의 구개형태 : 3차원 레이저 스캐너를 이용한 연구 A STUDY USING THREE-DIMENSIONAL LASER SCANNER

본 연구의 목적은 혼합치열기(Hollman dental age ⅢA)의 Ⅱ급1류 부정교합과 정상교합 어린이 간에 구개용적 및 전방구개경사의 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위하여 3차원 레이저 스캐너를 이용하여 비교, 분석하는 것이었다. 대상은 서울대학교 치과병원에 내원한 골격성 Ⅱ급1류 부정교합 환자 중 혼합치열기 어린이 31명과 서울시 치과 의사회에서 주관한 2000년부터 2004년까지의 건치어린이 선발대회 후보 중 교합양상이 정상이며 안모상 정상범주에 속하는 29명이었으며, 기준에 적합한 60개의 상악모형을 3차원 레이저 스캐너(Breuckmann opto-TOP HE, INUS, Korea)로 스캔한 후 Rapidform 2004 프로그램 (INUS, Korea)을 이용하여 3차원 이미지를 재구성하고 구개용적과 시상분할면 상에서의 전방구개경사를 측정하였다. 얻어진 결과를 95% 신뢰수준에서 independent samples t-test를 이용하여 통계적 유의성을 검정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 혼합치열기의 Ⅱ급1류 부정교합 어린이는 정상교합 어린이에 비해 평균구개용적이 유의하게 작은 경향을 보였다(p<0.05). 2. 혼합치열기의 Ⅱ급1류 부정교합과 정상교합 어린이 사이에서 전방구개경사와 구개고경은 유의성 있는 차이를 보이지 않았다(p>0.05). 3. 혼합치열기의 Ⅱ급1류 부정교합 어린이는 정상교합 어린이에 비해 구개장경이 유의하게 길었다(p<0.01). 4. 혼하치열기의 Ⅱ급1류 부정교합 어린이는 정상교합 어린이에 비해 견치간 구개폭경(p<0.05)과 대구치간 구개폭경(p<0.01)이 유의하게 좁은 경향을 보였다. The purpose of this study was to clarify the palatal volume and anterior palatal slope of the children with class Ⅱ div. 1 malocclusion and normal occlusion in mixed dentition(Hellman dental age ⅢA) using three-dimensional laser scanner. Samples were consisted of 31 children with skeletal class Ⅱ div.1 malocclusion in mixed dentition and 29 children with normal occlusion and profile among the contestants in 2000-2004 Healthy Dentition Contest in Seoul. Totally 60 maxillary study model were taken. Each cast was scanned by three-dimensional laser scanner (Breuckmann opto-TOP HE, INUS, Korea) and shaped into the three-dimension image by Rapidform 2004 pro￢gram(INUS, Korea). And the palatal volume and anterior palatal slope of each cast were calculated by Rapidform 2004 program(INUS, Korea). The values were statistically compared and evaluated by independent samples t-test with 95% of significance level. The results were as follows: 1. Palatal volume was significantly lesser in children with class Ⅱ div.l malocclusion than that of normal occlusion in mixed dentition(p<0.05). 2. No significant difference in the anterior palatal slope and palatal height was found between the children with class Ⅱ div.1 malocclusion and normal occlusion in mixed dentition(p>0.05). 3. Palatal length was significantly greater in children with class Ⅱ div.1 malocclusion than that of normal occlusion in mixed dentition(p<0.01). 4. Intercanine and intermolar width were significantly lesser in children with class Ⅱ div.1 malocclusion than those of normal occlusion in mixed dentition(respectively p<0.05 and p<0.01).

Poland's foreign policy has not received adequate attention among Western scholars. The same may be said of Korean scholars. They have believed by and large that while the Soviet Union might become increasingly tolerant of independent economic and even political developments in the satellite countries, no substantial deviation from Moscow's international line would be permitted. This attitude is a consequence of questioning both the domestic sovereignty of the East European communist regimes and their voluntary participation in the Warsaw Pact. Although these presumptions might still be relevant, the compulsory quality of domestic and international relations within the Soviet alliance does not warrant the conclusion that the ruling communist parties are merely Soviet agents without any concept of foreign policy. Foreign policy goals themselves, however, may explicitly eliminate the possibility of flagrant insobordination to Moscow. Acceptance of limited dependence on the Soviet Union, one of the world'superpowers, is obligatory for many communist regimes ― including that of Poland ― whose domestic sources of power are not adequate to command respect at home and abroad; and the conditions of dependence are not unwelcome, since they increase security and limit responsibility. In terms of area, population, natural resources as well as industrial and military potential, the Polish People's Republic is the most important member of the Eastern Bloc after the Soviet Union. Poland was the first victim of World War Ⅱ and sustained the highest losses in relation to its population. Moreover ― as opposed to many other states that were occupied by Germany ― it fought against that country on virtually all fronts from the first to the last day of the war. Recently recuring labor-strike attracts our attention. This strike has driven Polish economy into catastrophe and hightened extremely the tension between the East and the West. And how it will develop and whether the Soviet will intervene militarily in Poland's internal affairs by appling Brezhnev Doctrine is the focus of the world's attention. In this situation, studies on the Poland's foreign policy are indispensable. Paying due regard to the fact that the Republic of Korea is striving for the trade-increase with communist bloc nations, its foreign policy requires all the more further research.

스위스, 독일, 영국 금융제도에 관한 비교 고찰 : Switzerland, Germany and England

유럽의 금융시스템은 지난 10여년동안 심대한 구조 변화와 혁신 및 성장을 경험하였다. 이러한 금융환견에서 독일, 스위스, 영국의 금융시스템도 급속히 변화하고 있다. 이 변화는 동일하지 않지만 공통된 요소를 나타내고 있다. 이들 세 나라의 금융구조는 근본적으로 재편과정을 밟고 있으며, 금융기관은 보다 더 적극적인 변신을 시도하고 있다. 독일, 스위스 금융시스템은 연방주의와 분권주의적 특성을 나타내고 있으며, 영국의 금융시스템은 보다 더 개방적이고 중앙집중적일 뿐만 아니라 여러시장이 고도로 발달되어 있다. 최근 영국 런던 금융시장은 츄리히, 프랑크푸르트, 도쿄, 싱가폴, 홍콩으로부터 치열한 경쟁의 도전을 받고 있다. European banking and financial system has experienced a rapid pace of innovation, grow and structural change over the last ten years. With the changing financial environment, german, swiss and UK banking systems are also altering a rapid pace. This changes are not uniform but there are often important common elements. The structuctures of these financial and banking systems are now in a fundamental process of realignment and adaptation. Within this process there are increasing pressure for financial institution to be proactive rather than merely reactive to change. This study finds that german and swiss banking systems are characterized by the federalism and decentralization. UK banking and financial system is more open, concentered in London and high-developed in various markets. UK banking and financial development contribute to the consolidation of the real economic. In the recent, London financial market is faced with the competitive challange from Zurich, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore and Hongkong.

There, is increasing evidence suggesting that passive smoking increases the risk of lung cancer and other disease. though the potential health effects of exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) is a controversial subject. Since smoking in restaurant is prevalent in Korea. The concern on passive smoking exposure of non smoking service workers has been. requested. ETS exposure of non smoking service workers at restaurant was assessed because they have spent their times in restaurant indoors. The purpose of this study was feasibility of nitrogen dioxide(NO_(2))as exposure marker of ETS. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Average NO_(2), concentrations in indoor and outdoor at restaurants were 57.01ppb(±12.4) and 54.29ppb(±9.54), respectively. Comparing office-workers, service-workers at restaurants were exposured highly. 2. The personal NO_(2) measurement as exposure marker of ETS could cause The exposure error because NO_(2) can he generated by combustion appliances in indoor. 3. Service-workers spent their most time (86.6%) in indoor. Mean time spent at restaurant indoors and at home was 9.4 hours and 10.9 hours. respectively. 4. Personal NO_(2) levels correlated with indoor NO_(2) concentrations of restaurant (r=0.70) and of their home (r= 0.52) rather than of outdoor NO_(2) concentration of restaurant (r=0.35). The causes of personal NO_(2) exposure of non-smoking service-workers were considered as smoking of guests and combustion appliance indoors. 5. Personal NO_(2) exposures were estimated using Monte-Carlo simulation and time-weighted model. Estimated personal NO_(2) level was 47.2ppb (±8.3).

It is valuable to check food value of liquid extracted from the Korean dog meat(gae so zu) before it is adapted and acepted as health food. To evaluated food value of liquid extracted from Korean dog meat, Acid value, peroxide value, TBA value(2-thiobarbituric acid value) and volatile basic nitrogen were' analyzed. Acid value was higest contents when stored in 2 weeks of storage samples at room temperature. Peroxide value and TBA value was low contents during 4 weeks of each storage samples. But Volatile nitrogen was higest value after 1 week of storage samples. In the conclusion, liquid extracted from dog meat was unsuitable for food after 1 week of storage samples.

A new generation of computer-based methods is emerging for calculating the detailed patterns of gas flow, heat transfer and combustion in reciprocating engines by solving numerically the governing partial-differential conservation laws of physics. Attempt to identify the reasons for inadequated knowledge of the velocity components and other quantities in the inlet aperture during the intake stroke. The comparisons are shown between no rib and two rib on the inlet pipe wall. Turbulent flows in an axisymmetric inlet pipe are also estimated. k-εturbulence model is adopted and the law of the wall is applied at grid-points near the wall. Two-dimendional calculations are presented of the air flow in a model engine motored at engine comprised at 200rpm with a compression ratio of 3. The program resonabley simulates flow patterns throughout the suction stages of the reciprocating engine.
