      • 米麥混食이 白鼠體內 脂質代謝에 미치는 影響

        The comparative study was conducted on the effect of rice diet and rice mixed with barley(10%, 30%, 60%) diet on accumulation of adipose tissue and levels of triglyceride(TG), phospholipid(PL), total cholesterol(TC), and high density lipoprotein(HDL)-cholesterol in serum of albino rats(Wistar). 1. Adipose tissue accumulation and levels of TG, PL, TC serum in were lower in rice mixed with barley diet group than in rice diet group to the extent that the more barley was mixed with rice, the lower the levels of the above parameters. 2. HDL-cholesterol level was lower in the group where more barley was mixed with rice at 2 weeks after feeding. Rice diet group showed the highest level. 3. TC-HDL cholesterol level was lower in rice mixed with barley diet group than in rice diet group. 4. HDL-cholesterol level decreased in all the diet groups as the feeding period went, in contrast that TC-HDL cholesterol level increased gradually during the same period. 5. The average contents of NDF, ADF and lignin in barley(38% polished Convered barley) were 5.25g%, 2.078% and 1.11g%, respectivity. Based on the above observations it can be deduced that rice mixed with barley diet has the effect to suppress the adipose tissue accumulation and serum elevation of lipid level mainly by dietary fibers contained in barley to the extent that the more barley contained in diet, the more inhbitory effect it shows.

      • 내장형 QMSA 에 대한 연구

        In this paper we fabricated QMSAs for 850㎒ band on the teflon substrate with ε_(r)=2.6, H=1.6㎜(±0.08) (CGP-500). The resonant frequency and the return loss were measured by cutting the gap L_(3) between radiation patch and ground plate, with a 5㎜ cutting length, step by step. As a result, we found that the measured return loss data were good when the gap L_(3) was shorter, especially under 10㎜, unlike the other papers reported.

      • RTA용 반강체 동축케이블 안테나의 특성

        Radiofrequency thermal ablation (RTA) as one of the microwave hyperthermia is becoming the treatment of choice for small but inoperable tumors of the liver. In this paper, we deigned semi-rigid coaxial cable antenna with a ring slot for RTA applicator. To optimize the maximum output of radiation at 2450㎒, we simulated the antenna using 2D Electromagnetic Simulation Tools HFSS program and analyzed the return loss and the electric field Etot at the near-field region between the simulation results and measurement results. As a result, we obtained the return loss of -29.786㏈ at 2450㎒ when the antenna was placed between two blocks of a pig's liver, and the measurement results agreed with the simulation results well. Therefore, this semi-rigid coaxial cable antenna with a ring slot can be used very usefully as the applicator for RTA.

      • X-밴드 마이크로스트립 안테나 특성 고찰

        In this study 45 X-band rectangular microstrip patch antennas over 7-15 GHz fed by microstrip line using λ/4 transformer were fabricated on teflon substrates with low · high permittivities and various thickness (substrate thickness : 0.6 ~ 2.4 mm, permittivities: 2.15 ~ 10.0 ), and effects of permittivity and electrical thickness on antenna characteristics were studied with measured return loss(1/S₁₁) and resonant frequencies. When substrate electrical thickness was greater than 0.060 λo return loss was very good and generally more than 20 dB, but resonance characteristics was somewhat unstable. The more than 0.088 λo the thickness was, the more unstable it was. As a result, in the rest range except 12, 13 GHz we had very good measured return loss with greater than 20 dB, and in the range 7 to 9 GHz resonant frequencies were within ±2 % error, on εr=5.0, height=2.4 mm substrate.

      • MOSFET 동기정류회로의 특성 고찰 : S.M.P.S.에서 In S.M.P.S.

        To improve the rectification efficiency, designed S.M.P.S. were fabricated by replacing diodes with power MOSFETs. The characteristics between these S.M.P.S. and existing diode-type S.M.P.S. at a load of 2.5[A]and 5[A] were compared. The results represent that independent synchronous gate-driven half bridge MOSFET rectifier obtaines a little increased total rectification efficiency, that is, increased 4.84% at a load of 2.5[A] and 1.55% at a load of 5[A] and self synchronous gate-driven flyback MOSFET retifier obstaines a little incerased total rectification efficiency, that is, increased 2.49% at a load of 2.5[A] and 3.47% at a load of 5[A], than diode-type S.M.P.S..

        The main goal of this research is as follows: 1. To make a Korean standard telephone speech database composed of widely used and phonetically-balanced speech items. 2. To help associated universities and laborarories from making speech materials which is essential to speech processing studies by distributing the speech database to them. 3. To provide performance criteria for speech analysis and recognition algorithms. In the last year, we surveyed research trends in foreign countries, designed file formats for speech corpus, prepared for speech database collection/trimming, and made a useful Korean telephone speech database.

      • 내장용 부분 단락 마이크로스트립 안테나

        In this paper, we designed and fabricated internal partially-shorted MSAs for 850 MHz band on various Copper-clad Laminates substrates, where the width of the radiation patch is identical with that of the ground plane and the radiation patch is partially shorted to the ground plane. The resonant frequencies and the return losses due to the electrical thickness were measured by reducing the PSW to 0 ㎜. As a result, good characterized antennas with average 11% reduced resonant length and return loss -7.288 ~ 29.445 dB were obtained when the total PSW was in the range of 70% of radiated patch width compared to the conventional QMSA.

      • 사용자 MMI 화면 구성 방식의 DB 시스템 개발

        One of the most prominent feature of our database system is that it uses the User MMI screen layout and input record structure which users construct. Therefore, programmers need not program source code for each application area. Users can take effects of programming applications by just screen editing and input data record definition. The database system consistes of 3 program modules. 1) screen editor(sedit) - editing the initial screen for the DB engine, 2) form editor(form) - defining data record structures for DB engine, 3) the DB engine(playform) - managing database of the structure the user has defined. We will evolve this DB system to graphic mode, multi-key system, develop several db utilities, such as sort, print, etc. By using this system, users themselves can design their own db system(User screen, data record structure) easily, just as they develop DB application programs.

      • 발성속도 및 세기와 잡음환경에 따른 음성 인식시스템 성능 분석

        Speech recognition systems are increasingly utilized in various applications like telephone services where a user places a call by uttering the digits or the name of the person. One of the main problems in the applications is the performance analysis of speech recognition system according to uttering speeds, powers and noise environment. In this paper, we tested the recognition rates according to utterance speeds and powers. And we analyzed the recognition system performance if noise environment. Speaking loud and middle speeds, speech recognition rate was the best. In the result of recognition rate according to the kind of noise environments, recognition system performance was most excellent on car-noise environment.

      • Varactor 다이오드를 이용한 VCTDRO

        In this study, we designed and fabricated Voltage Controlled Transistor DRO (VCTDRO) using Varactor Diode with oscillation frequency of 3.2 GHz. A Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (DRO) which can obtain the high quality factor Q, minimized size, high temperature stability and high output power was used. This fabricated VCTDRO has 4 MHz of tuning band, -3.394 dBm of output power and -98 dBc/Hz of phase noise at 10 KHz offset frequency, at 3.2 GHz.
