The sandwich-type results for these meromorphic multivalent functions are also considered.
In Vitro Uptake of Salicylate by Human Red Blood Cells

Distribution and binding properties of sodium salicylate the human red blood cells were studied under various experimental conditions. The effect of tonicity and hemolysis on the steady state level of the drug within the human red blood cells were accounted for in this study. When the washed cells were suspended in normal saline solution, the drug was so rapidly permeated into red cells. Since the pH of the system forces nearly complete ionization of the drug, ionic diffusion through aqueous pores is thought to be the mode of salicylate transport. Human red cell binding capacity and association constant for salicylate were estimated. This work supports the view that the red cells act asan important reservior of salicylate.

Magnetic nanoparticles have not only been required for biological DNA isolation, detection and purification, but also have been studied steadily until recently as medical chemical processing materials for drug delivery and release that can control cancer cells in the human body. Using a ion selective field effect transistor (ISFET) pH sensor, a pH value sensitive to the concentration of hydrogen ions (H<SUP>+</SUP>) dissolved in various liquid solutions was measured according to the behavior of magnetic nanoparticles in the external magnetic field. The magnetic nanoparticle solution of pH 7.1 was mixed with acidic, neutral, and alkaline buffer solution at a ratio of 3:1, and the acidic solution having a pH of 3.9 with respect to the change of magnetic particle distribution was found to have a change of 35 mV (0.65 pH), which is greater than the pH of the alkaline solution of pH 9.8. Some of the H<SUP>+</SUP>-ions in the solution was bound to the magnetic nanoparticles and the concentration of ions was reduced near the Si₃N₄ layer of the ion sensitive membrane, so that the change in pH value, the output voltage, was closely related to the distribution of the nanoparticles. The output voltage curves between the two terminal source and drain for the external magnetic field were symmetrical around 0 Oe, and the variation up to ±1000 Oe was greater in acidic solutions than alkaline. Because a multi-reactive polymer nanoparticles containing drugs with a pH of about 7.2 for treatment of cancer cells with a pH of 6.8 move to targets, we suggest the therapy system in which the ring of nanoparticles is decomposed by high-frequency magnetic field therapy.
A New Measurement Method of a Radial Pulse Wave Using Multiple Hall Array Devices

This study investigated the radial pulse waveform obtained by a medical pulsimeter sensor. A pulse-sensing part array consisting of multiple Hall devices was located over a skin-contacting part with a hard magnetic material. The periodic movement of the magnetic material of the skin-contacting part affected the magnetic field in the pulse-sensing part array and was detected by multiple Hall devices. The analysis of a radial pulse waveform that is measured noninvasively by detecting the changes of the magnetic field can be used to develop a new diagnostic algorithm of oriental medical apparatus.
열 스트레스가 여성노인들의 근기능 및 근손상에 미치는 영향

열 스트레스는 건강의 위험요인으로 장시간 노출시 열손상과 근기능 감소 등 신체 기능을 감소시키며 특히 생리적 기능이 감소되어 있는 노인에서 영향을 받기 쉽다. 본 연구는 여름철 폭염주의보 수준의 열 스트레스가 여성노인들의 근기능 및 근손상 지표에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 시도되었다. 65세 이상의 여성 자원자 총 8명을 대상으로 2주일 간격으로 상온(20°C) 그리고 폭염주의보 수준의 고온(33°C)에서 등속성 슬관절 근기능을 측정하였으며, 폭염주의보 수준의 열 스트레스가 근손상에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 근기능 측정 전과 후에 채혈을 실시하였다. 각속도 60°/sec 운동시, 고온(33°C) 환경에서 우측 굴곡근과 신전근에서 최대우력, 단위체중당 최대우력, 평균파워 그리고 단위체중당 평균파워에서 근기능이 감소하였다(p<0.05). 또한 각속도 180 °/sec 운동시, 고온(33°C) 환경에서 우측 슬관절 신전근 피로도가 증가하였으며(p<0.05), 굴곡근 총일량은 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.05). 고온환경(33°C)에서 근손상 지표인 HSP70, CK 그리고 LDH는 상온(20°C)과 비교하여 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.05). 결론적으로 열 스트레스가 여성노인들의 근기능을 감소시키고 근손상을 유발하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 여성노인들의 건강유지를 위하여 여름철 폭염환경에서 열 스트레스의 노출 및 신체활동을 최소화 시키는 방안이 효과적이라 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of extreme heat on muscle function and muscle injury marker in elderly women. The subjects of this study were eight post-menopausal elderly women without any metabolic disease. All eight subjects were asked to perform the knee joint isokinetic exercise using isokinetic equipment (cybex) in the laboratory and experimental temperature within laboratory was adjusted to two conditions: extreme heat temperature(33 ±0.5°C) and normal temperature(20±0.5°C) maintained in 50±3% humidity conditions. Each experimental exercise was monitored and analyzed the change of HSP70, LDH and CK. Muscular functions (peak torque, total work, percentage of peak torque body weight, fatigue index, average power and total work) were significant differences at exercise between temperatural conditions (p<.05). In extreme heat temperature, muscular injury markers (HSP70, LDH and CK) were increased, threfore resulted in significantly higher than normal temperature(p<.05). These results show that extreme heat temperature can decrease muscle function in elderly women.
