To determine the characteristic double contrast barium enema findings of ileo-cecal and colonic tuberculosis and to make differential diagnosis from other bowel inflammatory disease. Sixty-seven patients confirmed as ileo-cecal and/or colonic-tuberculosis in six hospitals were evaluated retrospectively. The diagnosis was proven by endoscopic biopsy, surgery, and clinical follow up. Nine of 67 patients were excluded because radiologic findings were normal though endocopic biopsy examinations resulted in tuberculosis. Histopathological diagnosis were madein 58 cases as follows: endoscopic biopsy(n=29), operation(n=12), follow up examination(n=14), tissue culture(n=1), laparoscopic biopsy(n=2). There were 30 men and 28 females. The mean age were 36 yrs(range:16-67), 34 patients were in the second and third decade. The distribution of lesions, morphological characteristics, mucosal changes, ulcer shape and depth, associated with other tuberculous lesion, multiplicity were retrospectively analyzed in the findngs of double contrast barim enema. The commonest clinical symptoms were abdominal pain(n=35, 60%) and diarrhea(n=18, 31%). The chest radiography revealed association of pulmonary tuberculosis in 39 cases. Tuberculous lesions of other organs except chest were present in five cases. Double contrast barium enema findings showed a thickening and irregularity of intestinal mucosal fold(n=29, 50%), bowel contraction and/or shortening(n=26, 45%). There were small, nodular, superficial ulcers in the case of ulcer depth less than 2 mm in the depth. As many as 39 cases(67%) in this series had two or more lesions in the intestinal tuberculosis. The involved segment revealed symmetrical feature(n=21, 36%). Inflammatory pseudopolypoid lesions were noted in 30 cases(52%). The ileo-cecal region was involved in 38 cases(66%). The ascending colon(n=25, 43%) was the second commonest site with or without contiguous cecal involvement. Lesions in terminal ileum, ileo-cecal valve, transverse colon, descending colon and appendix were seen in 19, 18, 18, 12 and seven cases, respectively. Among 18 cases of ileo-cecal valve lesions, there were incompetency in nine cases(16%) and wide gapping in four cases(7%). In 14 cases, tuberculous enterocolitis was diagnosed by clinical follow-up and double contrast barium enema study. 12 out of 14 cases, the findings of double contrast barium enema of tuberculous enterocolitis were normalized after anti-tuberculous medication. However, two cases showed more aggravated state than before due to inappropriate treatment. Double contrast barium enema plays an important role in the diagnosis of tuberculous enterocolitis, determines the type, site and extent of the involvement and helps in treatment guide by using sequential studies.

There were no specific effects for test materials on Sprague-Dawley (S.D.) rats in clinical symptoms, amounts of food intakes, weight changes, laboratory findings, and pathology after whole body l, l-Dichloro-1 -fluoroethane (used as coolant, metal cleaner and solvents) exposure(0, 1,500, 3,000, and 6,000 ppm) for 13 weeks (6 hour/day, 5 days/week). However, the loss of capillary vessels in eyeball (pupil) was observed in a female rat among 6,000 ppm group. Though there was a tendency for MCHC (Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration) in rat to be decreased (p<0.05), it was not regarded as abnormal because the values were within normal limits. In asthma-stimulation related evaluations, there was also a tendency for inflammatory cell counts in bronchoalveolar lavages to be increased. But it had no statistical significance, and also no dependency on sex and the exposed concentration. Based on this result, the non observed effect level (NOEL) induced by 1, 1-Dichloro-l -fluoroethene inhalation was evaluated in groups with 3,000 ppm below (S .D. Rats, 13 weeks). Finally, it was concluded that the short term exposal of 1, 1-Dichloro-l-fluoroethane is not considered as a asthma stimulant by inhalation despite of some study limitations such as test animals use and short-term exposure .

In the walleye pollock. Theragra chalcogramma. which has a heart with a strong electromotive force, the ECGs were found to be recordable by electrodes placed in the water from fish's body. The day on the experiment, fish was operated on in order to install a leading-out bipolar electrode. This electrode was used for recording of the cardiosignal of the fish on a digital storage oscilloscope. The electrode was made from a fish book which was re-shaped according to the shaped of fish heart and body surface. This hook was then connected to the lead-code insulated with paint, and the connecting part was covered with paint. The pointed end was stripped off slightly for conduction of electricity and the another pointed edge was used for hooking the electrode into the chest cavity. QRS complex of the ECG was marked. The amplitude of QRS complex was about 0.1-lmV. This method enabled us to observe the heart beat rate of the walleye pollock under least disturbed state. Ordinary heart beat rate was not quite regular. Very slight stimulation was enough to bring about cardiac inhibition. which was also accompanied by a considerable reduction in the amplitude of the QRS. After rough treatment. such as sound stimulus or electric shock. the heart beat rate showed remarkable decrease. reaching a value a few times lower than the normal level.

The first generation painter of the Modern Age in Korea, No Su-Hyun's works have to be evaluated from a new perspective point. As yet his works have been lowly evaluated because they are not unique in contrast to other painters' works such as Lee Sang-Beom's and Byun Kwan-Sik's. As an attempt to correct the current view, I will analyze his landscape paintings based on the classification of traditional and post-traditional elements in the motif and brush work. It seems that his works changed since he joined the Exhibition of Chosun Art (朝鮮美術展覽會) sponserd by the Japanese colonial government in 1922. As seen in High mountain and flowing water (高山流水) which he exhibited in the 1st Exhibition of Chosun Art, there were many traditional elements in his painting. However, after that exhibition the post-traditional elements such as law sight and real space increased. It seems that he was influenced by works of Western style paintings and modern Japanese paintings. Also, the group Dongyon-sa(同硏社) which he organized with Lee Sang-Beom, Byun Kwan-Sik, and Lee Yong-Woo in 1923, is very important in the development of his works. They purposed to break away from the influence of Chinese paintings and the exclusion of Japanese painting. There are some works which show post-traditional elements to describe the real world during the 1920's. Nevertheless, it seemed that he fell into mannerism after the late 1920's and returned to traditional non-real, ideal painting. His return to traditional painting reflected his inclination toward nationalism. He stopped to exhibit The Exhibition of Chosen Arts but joined in the Exhibition of Seohwa Association(書畵協會展覽會), which was formed by Korean artists, and Korean patrons supported him far this time. He painted some excellent works in the early 1940's, and from late the 1950's to 1960's as well. [Land scape painting(山水)](1940's), [Effect in the Valley(谿山情趣)](1957), [Deep Valley(幽谷)](1950's) can be evaluated as the representatives of his works. And these are the results of his efforts to renovate traditional landscape paintings since he organized the Dongyon-sa. In these works the rocky mountain, shape and touch of granite are painted very well with good framed composition. Post-traditional motives and brush work became established and have significance. It can be said that all these are the result of No Su-Hyun's reaction to overwhelming external influence, Western and Japanese. Though he returned to traditional ideal landscape paintings in old age, his landscape paintings which are based on real motif and real space are to be called 'modern ideal landscape paintings'.

대학생의 법의식에 관한 실태조사

The purpose of this study is to research on the students' legal consciousness in Soonchunhyang University. The questionnaire was consisted of 3 items for the general backgrounds to the respondents(an academic year, the distinction of sex, major study), 4 items for the legal consciousness of law and legislative system, 13 items for the consciousness about the real application of law, a law enforcement agency, 4 items for the consciousness of public order, 4 items for the consciousness of public order in campus life. The data obtained from 334 students were analyzed by SPSSPC+. The results are as follows: (1) The negative image is occurred to the respondents when they listen to the word "law". (2) The most students have the consciousness as the laws necessary for the people are insufficiency. (3) The main problem for a law enforcement agency are irregularities and corrultions. (4) The most students have a double-faced consideration: Under the same condition, sometimes they have not observe for their economic gains, but give advice for observance to their friends. (5) The students have a guilty conscience for cheating in an examination.

Giga-bit DRAM 시대의 리소그래피 기술

Giga-bit DRAM 시대의 양산에 사용될 여러 가지 리소그래피 기술들의 현 상태 및 문제점을 최근의 보고 자료를 통하여 분석하였다. IG DRAM의 양산에는 ArF 에시머 레이저를 광원으로 사용하는 광리소그래피 기술이 사용될 가능성이 가장 큰 것으로 판단되며, 4G DRAM의 양산에는 X-선 근접 프린팅 방법이나 이온빔 투영 리소그래피 기술이 사용될 것으로 보인다. 그러나 4G DRAM 이후에 요구되는 집적도를 만족할 수 있는 양산용 리소그래피 기술은 현재까지 나오지 않고 있으며 따라서 16G DRAM 이후의 메모리 소자에 애해서는 새로운 리소그래피 기술의 개발이나 보다 큰 패턴으로 고집적을 달성할 수 있는 새로운 구조의 소지가 기대된다. We surveyed the current status and problems of the candidate lithography technologies for the giga-bit DRAM with recently reported results. We found that the photolithography technology with ArF excimer laser will probably be used for the mass production of 1G DRAM. Also, we showed that both X-ray proximity printing and ion beam projection technology meets the requirements fir the 4G DRAM. However, we could not find a workable solution for the lithography of DRAM's denser then four giga bit. Therefore, either a new breakthrough in lithography technology or a new device structure which yields higher density with larger pattern is required for 16G DRAM and beyond.
