성인 환자에서 구치부 압하를 통한 개방교합의 치료와 유지

성장이 종료된 치성 또는 골격성 개방교합 환자를 치료하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 전치부 개방교합 환자는 증가된 전안면고경, 상악 구치부의 과도한 수직성장, 큰 하악각 등의 특징을 지닌다. 이러한 증례에서 구치의 압하를 통한 개방교합의 해소는 좋은 치료전략이다. 본 연구는 교정용 미니임플란트를 이용하여 개방교합을 치료하고 성공적인 유지를 얻은 두 명의 환자에 대한 보고이다. 적절한 진단이 시행되고 교정용 미니임플란트 등의 장치를 이용한 치료기법을 적용하면 수술치료 없이 교정치료만으로 개방교합의 치료가 가능하며, 하악구치부에 posterior bite block을 추가한 가철식 유지장치 및 SFR이 개교환자를 위한 유지장치 또는 보조유지장치로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다. Successful treatment of the non-growing patient with an open bite of either dental skeletal pattern often presents a difficult challenge. The morphologic pattern in anterior open bite is characterized by longer vertical dimensions, an increase in development of the maxillary posterior dento-alveolar structure and a steep mandibular plane. In such cases, molar intrusion would be a good remedy for treatment. This article reports the successful treatment and retention of two anterior open-bite cases. We used orthodontic mini-implants for treatment and a circumferential retainer with posterior bite block or skeletal fixed retainer for retention. The diagnostic criteria and mechanics for appropriate treatment are discussed. Our results suggest that open bite can be reduced successfully with intrusion of molars using orthodontic mini-implants (OMI) without orthognathic surgery, and that circumferential retainer with posterior bite block and skeletal fixed retainer are effective for retention.

목적: 울산지역에 소재한 대규모 조선업종 근로자 1,419명을 대상으로 족부백선의 유병률을 조사하고 족부백선의 유병률에 미치는 요인을 조사하여 족부백선의 작업관련성을 알고자 본 연구를 실시하였다. 방법: 근로자 건강진단시 족부백선의 유뮤를 확인하고, 현재 족부백선의 위험인자로 알려져 있는 여러 요인들과 작업, 환경적인 요인들에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하고, 족부백선의 임상적인 양상을 관찰하였다. 결과: 조사결과 족부백선의 유병률은 54.8%로 높게 나타났으며, 직종과 공동목욕탕 이용 유무, 안전화 착용유무, 작업형태, 가족력 유무가 족부백선이 유병률에 영향을 미치는 위험인자로 나타났으나, 다변량 분석결과 가족력과 공동목욕탕 이용만이 통계적으로 유의한 위험인자로 나타났으며(P<0.05), 안전화 착용은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 결론: 이상의 결과에서 사업장내 근로자들의 족부백선의 높은 유병률과 관련된 직접적인 요인은 사업장내의 공동 목욕탕의 이용 여부와 족부백선의 가족력임을 확인할 수 있었으며, 많은 근로자들이 원인으로 지목한 안전화의 착용은 통계적인 유의성은 없었다. 따라서 족부백선이 작업과 직접적으로 관련되었다는 근거는 적은 것으로 보인다. 하지만 일반인보다 높은 유병률을 보이는 것으로 확인된 사업장내 족부백선의 유병률을 감소시키기 위해서는 위험인자로 최종 확인된 작업장 내의 공동 목욕탕의 철저한 위생관리와 함께 가족간의 감염을 예방히기 위한 개인위생관리가 필요하면, 비록 통계적인 유의성은 없었으나 여러 근로자들이 원인으로 지목한 안전화의 개선에도 노력해야 할 것으로 생각한다. Objectives: Recently, tinea pedis has been reprted to be a type of occupational dermatoses because of its high prevalence in specific working conditions. Although there is no doubt that the environment surrounding work places, the usual habits of workers erc ate intimately related to this skin conditions, there is some controversu as to whether or not this condition is a real occupational illness and what is the exact cause of the high prevalence of this illness is. In this study, the prevalence of tinea pedis in workers from the shipbuilding industry was investigated andthe risk factors of this disease were evaluated. This study also aimed to verify whether or not tinea pedis is one of the occupational diseases. Methods: The result of interviews, questionnaires and clinical findings from 1,419 workers who visited the occupational health center for an annual routine check for their health state were analyzed. Results: Among the 1,419 workers, 778 workers (54.8%)had tinea pedis. By simple logistic regression analysis, the prevalence of tinea pedis was found to e affected by some variables, including the jov category, the types of work, the kinds of footwear, whether or not they were using communal baths in the work places, and a family history of tinea pedis. In contrast, by multiple logistic regression analysis, only utilization of the communal baths in the work places and a family history of tinea pedis turned out to be statistically significant risk facrors. Conclusions: In this study, the major factors contributing to the high prevalence of tinea pedis are the use of communal baths in the workplace and a positive family history. However, the wearing of safety shoes was not statistically significant. Therefore, tinea pedis could not be confirmed to be an occupational disease. On the basis of these results, a solution to the environmental hygiene of communal bats and the personal hugiene of individuals needs to be improved in order to prevent tinea pedis.

(3S, 1E)-1-Cyano-1-octen-3-ol, the key intermediate in the synthesis of coriolic acid and. lipoxin A, was synthesized from (2S, 3S)- or (2R, 3S)-1-cyano-2, 3-octanediol derived from L-tartaric acid or 2-deoxy-D-ribose. The key reaction is deprotonation-elimination of the cyclic sulfite or carbonate of (2S, 3S)- or (2R, 3S)-1-cyano-2,3-octanediol. 코리오르산이나 리폭신 A 합성의 중요한 중간체인 (3S, 1E)-1-시아노-1-옥텐-3-올을 L-타타르산이나 2-데옥시-D-리보스에서 유도될 수 있는(2S, 3S)-나 (2R, 3S)-1-시아노-2,3-옥탄디올에서 합성하였다. 이 합성에서 중요한 반응은(2S, 3S)-혹은 (2R,3S)-1-시아노-2,3-옥탄디올의 고리 슬파이트나 카보네이트의 탈양성자성 제거반응이다.

In order to develop this system, the image processing technique has been investigated in machining process. In this paper, the measurement system of tool wear using computer vision is designed to detect the wear pattern by noncontact and direct method and get the reliable wear information about cutting tool. We measured the area of the side and front part of the diamond core drill which is used in 40kHz ultrasonic vibration machine.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Considerable efforts have been made to improve the electrochemical properties of complex-structured cathode materials for Li-ion batteries (LIBs), such as high specific capacity, good rate capability, and high energy density, enabling their future use in hybrid and electric vehicles (HEV/EVs). This communication reports for the first-time hybrid-structured LiFe(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>0.5</SUB>(BO<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>0.5</SUB> (LFBP) as a cathode material that exhibits a remarkably high specific discharge capacity 189.8 mAh g<SUP>−1</SUP> at 0.1 C of near the theoretical capacity (98.8%, 192 mAh g<SUP>−1</SUP>). X-ray diffraction and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of the pristine material revealed a mixed phase of olivine and vonsenite structures. The electrochemical performance of the LFBP showed polymorphism with two different kinds of structured materials. Cyclic voltammetry and dQ/dV analyses also confirmed the activation of both the olivine LiFePO<SUB>4</SUB> (LFP) and monoclinic LiFeBO<SUB>3</SUB> (LFB) after the first cycle. The LFBP hybrid material demonstrated good electrochemical performance with a wide range operating voltage of 0.9 to 4.5 V required for a parallel Li-ion battery system for future energy storage systems.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Hybrid cathode material fabricated by taking the merits of different polyanion </LI> <LI> LiFe(PO<SUB>4</SUB>)<SUB>0.5</SUB>(BO<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>0.5</SUB> delivered near theoretical capacity of 189.8 mAh g<SUP>−1</SUP> at 0.1 C </LI> <LI> LFBP displayed the electrochemical performance in wide voltage range of 0.9–4.5 V. </LI> <LI> CV and dQ/dV results clearly showed the polymorphism in the LFBP. </LI> </UL> </P>

Purpose: This study was conducted to assess the effects of robot-assisted gait training with visual feedback on gait, balance, and balance confidence in patients with chronic stroke. Methods: Thirty subjects with chronic stroke were randomly assigned to two groups: the experimental group (n=15) and the control group (n=15). The experimental group performed robot-assisted gait training for 30 minutes and the control group performed gait training with assisted devices training for 30 minutes after both groups performed conventional physical therapy for 30 minutes. Both groups performed the therapeutic interventions for 5 days per week, for a period of 4 weeks. For assessment of the 10 m walking test (10 MWT), Figure of 8 on the walk test (F8WT), Timed-Up and Go test (TUG), and Berg Balance Scale (BBS) were used to test the gait and balance, and the Korean version of the Activities-specific Balance Confidence Scale was used to test the balance confidence. Results: The experimental group showed significant improvement in the 10 MWT and the K-ABC (p<0.05), and the control group showed significant improvement in the BBS and the TUG (p<0.05). In four measurements, there were significant differences between the two groups (p<0.05), and the control group showed significant improvement in the F8WT at pre and post intervention (p<0.05). Conclusion: This study demonstrated that Robot-assisted gait training with visual feedback is an effective intervention for improving straight gait abilities and balance confidence, while the control group showed some improvement in curve gait and balance. Thus, we suggest both Robot-assisted gait training with visual feedback and gait training with assisted devices training exercise as a therapeutic intervention in chronic stroke rehabilitation.
