초내열합금 B1900의 미세조직과 인장특성에 미치는 고온노출의 영향
김인수,최백규,서성문,조창용 대한금속재료학회 2003 대한금속·재료학회지 Vol.41 No.7
Influence of thermal exposure on microstructural evolution and tensile properties of Ni-base superalloy B1900 has been investigated. Phase transformations during thermal exposure and their effects on tensile behavior of the alloy have been analyzed by microstructural observations. Considerable amount of acicular type M_(6)C carbide precipitated in the interdendritic regions (including γ/γ' eutectic) and in the vicinity of MC carbide as a result of thermal exposure above 871°C. Thermal exposure also assisted precipitation of small discrete M_(23)C_(6) carbide which is hard to be found in the alloy. Thermal exposure deteriorated tensile properties of the alloy. The effect of M_(6)C precipitation on the tensile properties of the alloy is not clear. However, degradation of tensile properties of the alloy is primarily attributed to the coarsening of y' phase during thermal exposure. While the localized deformation bands were observed in the as-cast tensile specimen due to shearing of γ' particle, dislocation network formed at γ/γ'interface in the thermally exposed tensile specimen.
Radiographic diagnosis of diaphragmatic hernia:review of 60 cases in dogs and cats
Chang-baig Hyun 대한수의학회 2004 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.5 No.2
Sixty cases of diaphragmatic hernia in dogs and cats were radiologically reviewed and categorized by their characteristic radiographic signs. Any particular predilection for age, sex, or breed was not observed. Liver, stomach and small intestine were more commonly herniated. At least two radiographs, at different angles, were required for a valid diagnosis, because some radiographic signs were not visible in a single radiographic view and more clearly detectable in two radiographic views. In addition to previously reported radiographic signs for diaphragmatic hernia, we found that the location of the stomach axis and the displacement of tracheal and bronchial segments were also useful radiographic signs.
Experimental Studies on the Instabilities of Viscous Fingering in a Hele - Shaw Cell
Baig, Chung Gi,Chun, Young Ho,Cho, Eun Su,Choi, Chang Kyun 한국화학공학회 2000 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.17 No.2
When air is injected into silicone oil contained in a horizontal Hele-Shaw cell, a single air bubble forms and grows showing various interesting phenomena. In this study the effects of the bubble front velocity, air injection velocity at a nozzle, fluid properties and cell depth on the stability of the growing bubble were investigated experimentally. By using the modified capillary number involving the aspect ratio, we obtained the onset conditions of the unstable bubble. Also, the bubble width was analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Before the bubble experiences splitting, the bubble front velocity is almost proportional to the air injection velocity. Therefore the latter velocity may be used in a practical sense.
화물자동차운송의 과적 차량 단속 체계 개선방안에 관한 연구

The best way to eradicate the operation of overloaded vehicles is that those related to cargo transport should abide by prescribed regulations, but if they are not observed well, road managers have responsibilities and duties to preserve the road facilities constructed by the taxes of the people from a handful groups pursuing illegal profits by restricting illegal operation and imposing punishments. According to rapid economic growth since 1970s. our country has deeply recognized adverse effects of operation of overloaded vehicles starting with the activation of cargo distribution, each road manager has cracked down operation restricted vehicles, but they has not reached such extent as completely eliminate the operation of overloaded vehicles by the lack of crackdown personnel and facilities. This article aimed at draw out the problems in the existing crackdown system and presenting the reform plans to bring forth the countermeasures to eradicate the operation of overloaded vehicles in the national road.
니켈기 초내열 합금 GTD 111에서 편석에 의한 합금원소 분포 및 미세조직 변화
최백규 ( Baig Gyu Choi ),김인수 ( In Soo Kim ),도정현 ( Jeong Hyeon Do ),정중은 ( Joong Eun Jung ),조창용 ( Chang Yong Jo ) 한국주조공학회 2015 한국주조공학회지 Vol.35 No.6
Segregation during solidification and homogenization during thermal exposure in GTD 111 were investigated. The microstructures of as-cast, standard heat-treated, and thermally exposed specimens were observed by SEM. A compositional analysis of each specimen was conducted by EDS. The dendrite core was enriched in W and Co, though lower levels of Ti and Ta were observed. An unexpected phase, in this case like the η phase, was observed due to segregation near the γ-γ`` eutectic in the standard heat-treated specimen. Segregation also induced microstructural evolution near the γ-γ`` eutectic during the standard heat treatment. A quantitative analysis and microstructural observations showed that the thermal exposure at a high temperature enhanced the chemical homogeneity of the alloy.
Postobstructive Pulmonary Edema in a Yorkshire Terrier Dog
Dong-Gook Lee,Sang-Il Suh,Chang-baig Hyun 한국임상수의학회 2016 한국임상수의학회지 Vol.33 No.2
A 6 month-old castrated male Yorkshire terrier (weighing 1.0 kg) was presented with acute respiratory distress. Diagnostic imaging studies found post-obstructive pulmonary edema sequel to upper airway obstruction by a rubber plug lodged at thoracic esophagus. The rubber plug was removed endoscopically. After removal of this rubber plug with conventional therapy for pulmonary edema, the clinical condition of dog was stabilized. To the best knowledge of authors, this is the first case report describing postobstructive pulmonary edema in a dog in Korea.

<P>Co-base superalloys have been applied in the stationary compoents of gas turbine owing to their excellent high temperaure properties. The stationary Co-base alloy components are generally manufactured by casting. Solidification behavior of the alloy is an important factor in the selection of casting parameters. In the present study, solidification microstructure and carbide formation behaviors were studied by directional solidification. Directional solidification experiments were carried out at the solidification rates of 0.5 ~ 150µm/s with the Co-base superalloy ECY768. Between the dendrites just below the final freezing temperature, MC carbide and M23C6 carbide were found. It was identified that the script or blocky carbides were Ta or W-rich MC carbide, and the lamellar carbides were Cr-rich M23C6 eutectic carbides. The solid/liquid interface morphology clearly showed that freezing of the Cr-rich eutectic carbide occurred just after the script type MC carbide.</P>
