        This paper presents a primary study for a new method of enhancing measurement using impedance analysis method, which is widely used for structure health monitoring. Many of skyscrapers, bridges, tunnels, which have been built up several years, and nearly reached their operating life due to aging crack, material deterioration, and so on. therefore, the health monitoring technique has obtained considerable attention. The goal of this research is to show basic information to evaluate structural health condition using piezoelectric sensors. The piezoelectric materials have various merits. It is easy to shape various forms and can be embedded on the materials more conveniently. Moreover, the excitation frequency can be changed and the piezoelectric sensors cost less. All these features make the piezoelectric-based system applicable to structural healthy monitoring. This work presents a study for the development of a practical and quantitative technique for assessment of the structural health condition by piezoelectric impedance-based technique associated with longitudinal wave propagation. To estimate the damage condition numerically, we suggest the evaluation method Cov (Covariance) and CC (Correlation Coefficient) in this paper.

      • 4-(2-Pyridylazo)-resorcinol에 의한 Gallium 및 Indium의 흡광 광도정량

        Several condition for the spectrophotometric determination of gallium and indium with 4-(2-Pyridylazo)-resorcinol [PAR] have been studied. The color solution of gallium-PAR, indium-PAR shows a maximum absorption at 504nm, 510nm, and follow Beer's law over a range of a to 15㎍/25ml, 2 to 30㎍/25ml of gallium and indium The molar extinction coeffecient at 504nm, 510nm are estimated to be 102,000, 86, 400. The absorbancy of the solution is kept constant for 20hrs and is not affected by temperature between 13~35℃. Since iron(Ⅲ), cobalt, copper, bismuth, zinc. cadmium, aluminium interfere more or less, the seperation of gallium and indium from some of the above ions by means of ether extraction has been studied. the constitution of the complex examined by continuous variation method is that the molar ratio of gallium:PAR, indium-PAR are 1:2.

        6-(3.4-Dichlorophenyl)amino-7-chloro-5.8-quinolinedione (RCK50) was tested for antifungal activities in mice systemically infected with Candida albicans. The therapeutic potential of RCK50 was also assessed in comparison with ketoconazole. RCK50 had ED_50 0.22±0.01 ㎎/㎏. Ketoconazole as a positive control had ED_50 6.00±1.70 ㎎/㎏. Intraperitoneally administered RCK50 at the ED_50 for 7 days and 14 days reduced Candida albicans colony count in the kidneys and liver. And administered RCK50 at the ED_50 for 14 days improved survival rates. The genotoxicities of RCK50 had been evaluated. RCK50 was negative in Ames test with Salmonella typhimurium and chromosomal aberration test in CHL cells. RCK50 did not show any clastogenic effect in mouse peripheral blood and was negative in mouse micronucleus assay. These results indicate that RCK50 has no genotoxic potential under these experimental conditions. Acute oral toxicity studies of RCK50 were carried out in ICR mice of both sexes. RCK50 did not show acute oral toxicities and LD_50 values were over 2.850 ㎎/㎏ in ICR mice.

        The WE DSP32 in AT&T's second-generation programmable digital signal processor with 32-bit floating point arithmetic. This device can be used in a wide varity of complex digital signal processing algorithms such as speech recognition,high speed modems, low-bit rate voice coders, and multichannel signaling system. This paper reviews the LPC analysis and synthesis of speech signal and presents a real time implementation methodology of these algorithms using the WE DSP32. For efficient data handling, circular buffer is proposed. The implementation results show that deep pipelining characteristics of the processor should be fully utilized to satisfy the timing constraints,

        Trichloroethylene의 대사 및 간독성에 diethyldithiocarbamate가 미치는 영향

        목적 : 이 연구는 TCE 급성 폭로시 TCE의 대사 및 급성 독성작용과 diethyldithiocarbamate(DDTC)가 TCE의 독성 작용에 미치는 영향을 밝히기 위하여 시행하였다. 방법 : Sprague-Dawley계 수컷 쥐를 DDTC로 전처리한 군과 saline으로 처리한 군으로 나누고, 여러 농도(600, 1,200, 2,400 ㎎/㎏ body weight)의 TCE을 경구투여한 후 12시간에서 체내 각 조직의 TCE 및 TCE 대사물의 농도와 조직병리학적 변화소견을 관찰하였다. 결과 : CYP2E1 효소는 DDTC를 전처리 한 군에서 현저하게 감소하였으며, TCE만 투여한 군에서는 투여량이 증가함에 따라 CYP2E1이 유의하게 증가하여 TCE이 CYP2E1을 유도하는 것을 알 수 있었다. TCE와 TCEOH이 체내 농도는 간에서 가장 높았고, TCA의 농도는 혈액에서 가장 높게 나타났다. DDTC로 전처리한 군에서는 TCE 체내 농도가 TCE만 투여한 군보다 현저하게 높게 나타났고, TCA와 TCEOH의 농도는 현저하게 감소하여, DDTC가 TCE의 대사를 현저하게 억제함을 알 수 있었다. 조직병리학적 소견으로 볼 때, TCE 투여군에서만 간 중심소엽에 국소적인 괴사가 관찰되었고, DDTC 전처리후 TCE 투여군에서는 아무런 임상소견도 관찰할 수 없었다. 결론 : DDTC는 TCE에 의한 급성 간독성에 보호효과가 있는 것으로 나타났는데 이는 DDTC가 TCE의 대사를 억제하기 때문인 것으로 생각된다. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the trichloroethylene(TCE)metabolism, acute toxicity, and the effects of diethyldithiocarbamate(DDTC)on the acute toxicity in TCE-intoxicated rats. Methods: TCE was administered orally at doses of 600, 1,200 and 2,400 ㎎/㎏ of DDTC. 12 hours after administration of TCE, the concentrations of TCE. trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and trichloroethanol(TCEOH) in the blood and solid organs, and the histopathological changes in each organ were examined. Results: The level of CYP2E1 markedly decreased in the DDTC-pretreated groups. The CYP2E1 content in the TCE-treated rats increased in a dose-dependent manner. The concentrations of TCE and TCEOH, than the rats pretreated with saline. These findings indicated that CYP2E1 was important in the metabolism of TCE. From the histopathological findings, centrilobular necrosis was observed in the livers of the TCE-treated rats, but no significant change was found in those rats pretreated with DDTC. Conclusions: DDTC is considered to be effective in protecting TCE-induced hepatic damage because it inhibits the TCE metabolism.

        혈액 내 구리, 아연 및 ceruloplasmin 농도에 흡연, 음주 및 신체적 활동이 미치는 영향

        Objectives : To investigate the influence of smoking, alcohol ingestion, and physical activity on copper and zinc in RBC and serum and serum ceruloplasmin, this study was performed in a cross-sectional study in 113 healthy men aged 20 to 40 years who had no symptomatic liver, heart, gastrointestinal, and other chronic diseases. Methods : At the men's entry into the study, blood samples were drawn from each subject and immediately centrifuged for analysis of copper, zinc, iron, ceruloplasmin, total cholesterol, and hematocrit. Each man completed a questionnaire that provided information on smoking, amount of alcohol intake, and physical activity. Partial regression analysis was performed on confounding variables such as age, body mass index, hematocrit, serum cholesterol, and serum iron. Results : In general linear models, adjustment for confounding variables did not show statistical differences, and there was only an increasing tendency in serum copper in heavy smoker(P=0.0678). There was no difference between high physical activity with mild smokers and lower physical with heavy smokers. Conclusions : This study suggested that copper, zinc and ceruloplasmin were not good biomarker for early effect by smoking, alcohol intake and physical activity in young adult. However, selection bias should be considered in evaluation of this result, and a large prospective study will be needed in advance on usefulness of copper, zinc and ceruloplasmin as a marker for risk factors and early change of atherosclerosis.

      • 무도전공자들의 입시준비 실태에 관한 연구

        This study of intended to survey the actual condition of the students who want to be admitted to the Department of Martial Arts of University, the realities and the influence of home, school, and private institution as the influencing factors and their relations to the preparation for the physical examination. This study is also designed to plant the right perception of the Physical training in the minds of the students preparing for the physical examination for the Department of Martial Arts, help them make the most of special abilities and be prepared for the future as professionals. For teachers who guide them, the goals of this study are to make them understand the importance of students choosing major, let them know the things to be improved, and provide the right direction and fundamental data on Martial Arts education. In order to achieve these goals, those 300 student who are taking lecturess from private institutes to apply for the department of Martial Arts in Suwon city, pyungtak city and Osan city were sampled, except those insincere answers of 4 students, The rest reliable answers of 296 students were used for statistical use with the statistic software SPSS 10.0 for Windows package. The results of the research on the Actual condition of the Applicants Preparing for the Phyical Examination for the Department of Martial Arts are as follows: Firstly, the major factor of choosing the Department of Martial Arts is ones own will and majority of the students are going to major it in order to be teachers or coaches. It was indicated that only a few students are going to choose the major because of their grades. Secondly, the money spent on the preparation for the physical examination per month varied from 10 thousand won to 40 thousand won and it seemed that the differences among tuition fees came from the characteristic of the institutes. Overall the parents of those student showed positive response to the preparation for the physical examination for the Department of Martial Arts. Thirdly, the sources of the information on physical examination were mostly gained from internet and seniors. The time spent on the institute was more than 4 hours per day and the length of course taken by students were mainly lass then a year and over 3 years. The majors to be applied in Department of Martial arts were Judo, Taekwondo, Yonpmdo, Kando, Taekyun, and etc. in order. Lastly, it seemed that many students thought the money spent on the preparation for the physical examination was excessive but most of them would not change their choice. Although some students answered that they might change their major according to their grades, but majority of the students were very sure of what they are going to do and also told that they would do their best to achieve their goal.

        This study was to analyze the effect of psical teacher's self-directed super- vision on teaching behavior. The prpose of this study is to identify the effect of pysical teacher's self director supervision of their teaching trough other teacher's teaching and all of physical education methods. Therefore research models and hypothesis were established on previous research and theories. Background variable was physical teacher's personal factor and Independent variable was physical teacher's sect-directed supervision. Dependent variable was teaching behavior of physical teacher. The data were collected by using simple random sampling of 360 physical teacher's in Seoul , Kyung-gi-Do, and In-chun. To survey the data question paper was used. T-test and one-way ANOVA were used to test hypothesis. Multiple-Regression Analysis was used to know effect of physical teacher's self-directed supervision on teaching behavior. Each hypothesis was tested at the significance level of 0.5 The conclusions were drawn as the followings First. influence of self- directed supervision by physical teacher's personal factor was following. According to sender there was no difference in teaching behavior. There was a significant influence in understanding students according to school's situation(girls, boys, and co-ed). There was a significant influence in class managing, understanding students, class preparing, teaching method according to class reflection. Second. influence of teaching behavior by physical teacher's personal factor was following influence. The gender had influence on dynamism and creativity. School situation(boys, girls, co-ed) had influence on individuality and creativity. Class reflection had influence on dynamism, creativity, obviousness and individuality. Third. effect of physical teacher's self-directed supervision on teaching behavior was followings. In dynamism, it had influence on teaching method, class managing, understanding students, sequentially. But not on preparation. In Individuality, it had influence on preparation, understanding students. Class managing sequentially. But not on teaching method. In obviousness. It had influence on class managing and Preparation. sequentially. but not on understanding students. and teaching method. In creativity, it had influence on understanding students, preparation, class manacling sequentially, but not on teaching method.

      • 都市固形廢棄物의 堆肥化 前處理工程上의 最適條件에 관한 硏究

        The present study is investigated physical composition and chemical quality of urban solid wastes in Korea which are various compounds and severe seasonal variance, and it is showed optimum condition of pretreatment for composting, the result are following. 1. Optimum range of C/N ratio is 35-45 O₂ consumption and CO₂ production is measured to judge the degree of degradation. The degradation rate of C / N ratio 35 and 45 samples are 3 times higher than 10 and 25 samples. 2. Optimum range of water content is 50-70%. Because of the different quality of initial sample and laboratory condition, the samples with various C/N ratios are showed different optimum moisture content. 3. For the purpose of maintaining optimum condition of pretreatment, the bulking agent is selected properly, and also, it must be considerd the regional and seasonal producing character for the selection of the bulking agent.
