        In this study, fatigue fracture often occurs due to the fatigue crack in the machine and welding structure and this is the result of severe operational environment, operational condition, and design condition caused by the large scaled and light weighted machine and structure in recent days. Therefore, safety and reliability should be secured to prevent the fatigue fracture of machine and structure, and the use of titanium has been increased in the metal material for the safety and reliability. The purpose of this thesis was to investigate the welding characteristics and fatigue crack growth characteristics of titanium, commonly using power station, aircraft and ship. The experimented material was TIG welded in order to look over the characteristics according to the notch position and compare with other material. The results, at the same welding condition, 4 pass specimen which had the smallest number of welding pass had the highest tensile strength with 51kgf/㎟ and the tensile strength of 4 pass specimen was 10% higher than the one of 7 pass specimen, and its elongation reduced about 30%. The initial fatigue crack growth characteristic is slower in this order, boundary zone < welding zone < HAZ < base metal. Especially boundary zone's growth speed is slower about 30 times than base metals.

      • 잔류응력을 고려한 SS400재의 피로특성에 관한 연구

        In this study is about the fatigue characteristics which appears in the welding residual stress field. The welding residual stress takes place mostly at the portion where SS400 materials are automatical welded. The effects of the welding residual stress in the growth and propagation of fatigue crack, so as to study the fatigue behavior in the welding residual stress field. The results, in case of the load range is constant, as the stress ratio is changing to 0.1, 0.33. 0.5 the propagation life is constant but the growth life decreases. And than, when maximum load or minimum load is constant, as the stress ratio increases the growth life and propagation life increase. The fatigue crack propagations rate da/dN appears to accelerate when the stress intensity factor range △K is less than 15MPa-m^(1/2). The growing and propagation fatigue crack in the welding residual stress field is similar to original specimen after being passed the original residual stress field.

        사내벤처캐피탈이 투자기업의 기술혁신에 미치는 영향

        This study discusses Corporate Venture Capital's contributing role to the innovative venture business(VB) by analyzing its promoting effect on the "Technology Innovation" for the invested venture business. It has analyzed the number of patent registrations and amount of investment in intangible assets of the 52 companies invested by Corporate Venture Capital(CVC) during the period from January of 1999 to December of 2008. The results are as follows. First, the company has shown its growth in registering the patent after receiving the CVC's investment, which verifies the CVC's pumping-up role in technology innovation. The result shows that the formation of CVC motivates R&D and innovation will and has a postive influence on technology innovation by the complementary relationship with academic externality of existing knowledge capital. This study supports the works by Kortum and Lerner(2000), Hellman and Puri(2000), McNally(1997), Ki-whan Lee and Byung-seop Yoon(2007) asserting that CVC's investment influences the number of patent registration and it contributes to spreading the technology innovation. Second, it is found that the number of patent registrations from IT VBs invested by CVC is larger than that of Non-IT VBs. The result implies that the high-technologies of IT VB's play a critical role in registering more patent than low-technology Non-IT VBs. Third, it is found that the ratio of investment in intangible assets by the VBs has grown after receiving CVC's fund, which implies that the CVC's investment plays a stimulating role for the VBs to invest more budget into R&D so that they can accomplish technology innovation.

      • 위의 유암종과 선종의 병발 1례

        유암종은 전신에 퍼져 잇는 장크롬친화성 세포에서 기원하는데 위의 유암종은 비교적 드문 질환으로 모든 유암종의 1.9~2.2%에 해당하며 위에 발생하는 종양의 1% 미만에서 보고되고 있다. 유암종은 일반적으로 증상이 비특이적이고 면역조직화학검사에 의해서 진단되기 때문에 과거에는 드물게 발견되었으나 최근 내시경 기기 및 술기의 발전과 검사 빈도의 증가 및 면역조직화학검사의 발달로 진단율이 증가 추세에 있으며, 드물지만 유암종에서 선암과 공존하는 예들이 보고되고 있다. 저자들은 심와부 동통을 주소로 내원한 70세 남자 환자의 상부위장관내시경 검사에서 위체상부의 대만곡에서 0.4×0.4 cm 크기의 중간 함몰을 가진 Yamada 1형의 용종과 함께 전정부의 전벽에서 0.8×0.5 cm 크기의 융기된 점막 소견을 보여 조직학적으로 각각 위유암종 및 위선종임을 확진한 후 내시경적 용종 절제술로 치료한 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Carcinoid tumors are arisen from enterochromaffin cells, which are scattered throughout the body. These tumors are composed of variable numbers of cells that contain endocrine granules in their cytoplasm, which can be identified by immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. Gastric carcinoid tumors are relatively rare tumor, the reported incidence being 1.9~2.2% of all carcinoid tumors and less than 1% of all gastric tumors. Sometimes, composite carcinoid tumors and adenocarcinoma is reported. We experienced a case of the coincidence of carcinoid tumor and adenoma at the other site of the stomach in a 70 year old male patient. Gastrofiberscope showed 0.4×0.4 cm sized Yamada type I polyp with central depression on the greater curvature of the proximal body and 0.8×0.5 cm sized focal slightly elevated mucosa on the anterior wall of the antrum. The endoscopic biopsy specimens revealed carcinoid tumor and tubular adenoma with moderate atypism, respectively. The carcinoid tumor and adenoma were removed by endoscopic polypectomy. According to the follow-up gastrofiberoscopy after 7 month later, both lesions were nearly normal mucosa except whitish atrophic change after polypectomy.

They simply focus on mechanizing, leaving out the old business prosess. Business Reengineering strategically adop Information Technology not only in deductive thinking but in inductive thinking. The role of Informaton Technolohy is to restructure the business process and make it more effective.

        In this paper a time reduction algorithm for large vocabulary speech recognition system has been studied. TDNN(Time Delay Neural Network) was used to classify vowel using phonetical fetures. To increase performance of vowel classification, modular TDNN architecture associated with 2 states input layer has been suggested.

        기계중복과 셀간 이동수의 최소화가 가능한 예외적 요소의 제거 방법 : 비용 및 설치대수 제약 고려

        Using the concept of cellular manufacturing systems(CMS) in job shop manufacturing system is one of the most innovative approaches to improving plant productivity. However. several constraints in machine duplication cost, machining capability. cell space capacity. intercell moves and exceptional elements(EEs) are main problems that prevent achieving the goal of maintaining an ideal CMS environment. Minimizing intercell part traffics and EEs are the main objective of the cell formation problem because it is a critical point that improving production efficiency. Because the intercell moves could be changed according to the sequence of operation, it should be considered in assigning parts and machines to machine cell. This paper presents a method that eliminates EEs under the constraints of machine duplication cost and cell space capacity attaining two goals of minimizing machine duplications and minimizing intercell moves simultaneously. Developing an algorithm that calculates the machine duplications by cell-machine incidence matrix and part-machine incidence matrix. and calculates the exact intercell moves considering the sequence of operation. based on the number of machine duplications and exact intercell moves. the goal programming model which satisfying minimum machine duplications and minimum intercell moves is developed. A linear programming model is suggested that could calculates more effectively without damaging optimal solution. A numerical example is provided to illustrate these methods.

        The purpose of this paper is to look for the applicable method of Information Technology, as a major component of management strategy for competitive advantage, which may support an organization and eventually contribute to the accomplishment of the objectives of strategy. In this research paper, I'm going to discuss the nature and the role of information and Information Technology, examine the background of strategic application of Information Technology and the relation between competitive advantage and strategic application of Information Technology, and investigate the effect of Information Technology to industry and management. The summary of research is as follows: ① With the combination of computers and information communication, Information Technology greatly influences the operation of an organization by making a great deal of new media and the role of organizational structure and managers of all levels is changing more creatively. ② Information Technology helps companies reevaluate and design their mission and areas of business by providing new strategic opportunities. Accordingly, the application of Information Technology is not just for the short-term cost saving or improving efficiency in functional level but it should be considered to improve the long-term business performance with total strategic perspective. ③ Information Technology should be combined with strategic plan and be applied for the whole process of strategic management rather than just being used as a tool of achieving competitiveness. ④ Since considerable capital investment is prerequisite, top management's involvement and support is essential for achieving the strategic predominance and maintenance of the application of Information Technology. ⑤ Due to rapid progress of Information Technology, its potential power is getting bigger nowadays. So the application of Information Technology should be used by the whole organizational members not just by computer experts or computer-related departments. The strategic planner who is aware of Information Technology and its developmental tendency and the manager of information system who understands strategic goal of business of a company should both participate in discussion and cooperation. Smooth communication is indispensable to organizational members.

        The reduction of plant operating costs is the joint respnsibility of maintenance and design managements. Problem areas are usually identified by maintenance engineers while design engineers have the responsibility of effecting improvements. A method is outlined for enabling the available design resources to be effactively directed towards the reduction of operating costs. Simple decision analysis techniques may be used by design and maintenance engineers to allocate design resources to maxmise the reduction of operating costs of an operating plant.

        浦渚 趙翼의 『中庸私覽』에 대한 연구(1) : ‘中庸’과‘費隱’의 해석을 중심으로

        浦渚 趙翼(1579∼1655)의 『中庸私覽』은 1607년에 저작되었다. 이즈음 임란 후 우리나라 사회·경제적 모순점은 극에 달하여 民生은 塗炭에 빠지고 民心은 離反되어 국가는 위기적 상황으로 치닫고 있었다. 포저는 이러한 현실적 위기의 원인처가 바로 주자학의 경전 해석 체계와 그 관념적 지배구조 원리에 있음을 진단하고, 이를 개정 또는 보완하는 것이 당면한 현실의 난간을 극복할 수 있는 유일한 대안이라고 인식한다. 그래서 그는 『四書』 중 성리학적 심성구조와 천도·인도의 핵심논리를 담고 있는 주자 『중용장구』의 분절과 주석체계에 대하여 감히 私見을 제시하여 『중용사람』을 저작하였다. 그는 여기에서 주자의 사숙제자이면서 그 견해를 달리한 雙峯饒氏(饒魯), 北溪陳氏(陳淳), 李氏(番陽 李氏)의 설을 지지하고, 또한 당시 유행하고 있던 중국 명말의 新說 즉 초횡(1541∼1620)을 비롯한 袁氏, 孫氏, 楊氏, 錢氏, 胡氏 등 많은 학자들의 중용설을 일면 비판하면서도 수용하고 있다. 이의 경학사상적 특징을 요약하면, 1) '性卽理'의 '理' 즉 선재적·절대적인 '理'적 개념이 제거되고 있다는 것, 2) 주자의 관념적인 도덕법칙에서 벗어나 인간의 실천적 윤리덕목을 주요하게 여기는 것, 3) 역사적 사실과 경전의 경문에 근거하는 실증적 사고체계를 가지는 것 등이다. 이같은 포저(1579∼1655)의 『중용사람』의 경학사상적 특징은 뒤이어 오는 윤휴(1617∼1680)와 朴世堂(1629∼1703)의 탈주자주의적 경학세계와 霞谷 鄭齊斗(1649∼1736)의 양명학적 경학체계 및 18세기 실천·실용 위주의 경학성립에 일정한 자양분이 되었다는 것에서 그 경학사적 의의를 찾을 수 있다. Po-jeo Cho Ik(1579-1655)'s Chungyongsaram was written in 1607 when i-ki-i-won-non as the idea of Neo-Confucianism at the top of discussions by Toegye and Yulgok, had declined. That Neo-Confucian discussions resulted in many conflicts in various parts of political worlds and academic circles. The public welfare fell into the extreme distress and people was alienated from the goverment especially after Japan made invasion upon Chosun(Imjinwaeran). At this situation Po-jeo considered that the difficulties had resulted from the excessive abstract of Neo-Confucianism and it had to be dissembled. As a result he tried to offer his own ideas against Chu-Xi's Chungyonjangku that includes essential contents about the way of Heaven and Man, and the structure of Neo-Confucian disposition in order to abolish idealism in the explanations of Four Books. Under the slogan, "The way and the Confucian bible are public property", he was earnest to change Neo-Confucian thought system. He supported the opinions of Yao Shuang-feng, Chin Bei-xi and Er Fan-yang, and received the ideas of many scholars including those of Jiao-Xun(1541-1620) in the late Ming dynasty. Of these scholars' opinions, he received the effects of Qiao Hong's opinion on the Mean which was affected especially by Yao Shuang-feng's and Er Zhi(Zhuo-wu,1527-1602)'s. Po-jeo's academic background of opinion on the Mean is, on the one side, near to theories of Yang-Ming school In view of these facts and the his own features in Confucian Classial history follows. First, he removed the absolute and priori concept of li of "xing is li" Second, he stressed the importance on practical virtues of human away from the ideal ethics of Neo-Confucianism. Third, he used a positive system of thought based on historical facts and materials of Confucian Classics. On the other side we can find the meaning in the Confucian Classical history that Po-jeo's thoughts of Confucian Classics had a great effect on the establishments of the theories of Yun Hyu(1617-1680), Park Se-dang(1629-1703) and Ha-gok Chung who had academic view of Yangming school and utilitarianism of anti-Neo-Confucianism.
