Rib Fracture Phantom을 이용한 DR장치의 선량 감소 및 화질특성에 관한 고찰

Large area direct read out flat panel detector radiography systems offer various advantages in comparison to screen film and storage phosphor systems. Most important the detective quantum efficiency is twice as high. As integrated casset-teless systems, they provide a wider range of contrast, are directly connectable to picture archiving and communication systems, and allow dedicated image processing. As a result of this measurement have shown superior image quality and lower exposure dose requirements compared with those of screen-film andstorage-phosphor systems for specific rib fracture lesions. A new generation of digital flat-panel detectors (FPD) is now emerging. the purpose of our study was to present measurements of the basic physical imaging characteristics of one of these FPD systems. FPD system is superior to screen- film and storage-phosphor systems in rib spine radiography in pig. With the FPD system, exposure dose can bereduced by 50% without loss in image quality.

SS41 is welded automatically and is investigated some effects of the welding residual stress in the growth and propagation of fatigue crack, so as to study the fatigue behaviour in the welding residual stress field. The summarized results are as follows; 1) In case of the load range is constant, as the stress ratio is changing to 0.1, 0.33 and 0.5 the propagation life is constant but the growth life decreases. And than, when maximum load or minimum load is constant, as the stress ratio increases the growth life and propagation life. 2) It was shown that the fatigue crack propagation ratio da/dN was almost constant regardless of the stress ratio change at constant load amplitude and that the larger stress ratio, the slower was the fatigue crack propagation ratio. 3) The opening ratio U is influenced by Kmax but it isn't only the function of Kmax because data range is very large. 4) The growing and propagation fatigue crack in the welding residual stress field is similar to original specimen after passing the original residual stress field.

We performed the surgery for correction of ocular torticollis in 20 patients with asymmetric gaze nystagmus. Modified kestenbaum procedure was performed for 30 degrees of ocular torticollis, 40% augmented modified Kestenbaum procedure for 45 degrees, and 60% augmented modified Kestenbaum procedure for 60 degrees. At the final follow up visit (averaging 9.9 months), 12 patients showed complete corrections of previous head turn, five patients showed a small residual head turn of less than 10 degrees, and three patients show residual head turn of 15 degrees to the same side of the preoperative head turn. The success rate was 85%. After the first operation three patients were received the addiitonal operation due to residual head turn, but the results were satisfactory. Three were few significant complications and no overcorrected cases. Among the 14 patients who were able to measure the visual acuity, seven patients showed no internal change in visual acuity and the other seven patients showed increased visual acuity over one Snellen line. From above results, we obtained good results with modified Kestenbaum procedure and augmented modified Kestenbaum for correction of ocular torticollis with asymmetric gaze nystagmus.

Recently the HAEUNDAE beach has an impact on intense erosion phemomena. At this point, the purpose of this study is to examine the sedimentation effect by using a three-dimensional hydraulic model test when a jetty is set up. jetty From the results of the experiment it can be concluded that the optimum length of jetty would be L₁=300m, direction angle would be θ=22.5°when, H=3.0m and T=8.0 sec. A jetty and offshore breakwater are also considered as a compound structure. From this experiment the optimum length of offshore breakwater would be L₂=200m. A jetty and T-Type jetty are also comtemplated as compound structure. From this experiment the optimum length of T-Type jetty would be L₃=300m.

Syphilis is a chronic systemic infectious disease caused by Treponema pallidum. Syphilitic involvement of the stomach can occur via the blood flow in the primary or secondary period of syphilis, but its incidence is very rare. Gastric syphilis should be considered in patients at risk of sexually transmitted disease who complains of abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting and in whom unusual endoscopic or radiographic features are found. Because gastric syphilis has no pathognomic clinical findings and it can simulate gastric cancer or lymphoma, it’ s not so easy to diagnose. If diagnosed, however, gastric syphilis can be easily treated with proper antibiotics. We report on a case of gastric syphilis that manifested epigastric pain, anorexia and weight loss. It was initially thought to be lymphoma, but it was correctly diagnosed by serologic testing and progress.

A new FET type pressure sensor has been investigated to overcome the problems of the conventional silicon piezoresistive and capacitive pressure sensor. The PSFET( pressure sensitive field effect transistor) is a new FET type pressure sensor which the operation theory is combined with the field effect of MOSFET and the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric thin films. This sensor can overcome the fabrication problems of conventional silicon pressure sensors and realize productivity, standardization, miniaturization, integration because the whole fab. process is compatible to the planar technology. A ZnO thin film as a piezoelectric material, 5000Å thick, was deposited on a FET gate by RF magnetron sputtering and the optimum deposition condition was 300℃ substrate temperature, 5mtorr working pressure, Ar ambient and 140watt RF power, respectively. And the device was annealed at 400℃, O_(2) ambient for 1 hour to obtain a better C-axis poling structure. The fabricated PSFET device showed piezoelectric voltage(40mV/kgf/cd) and sensitivity (21μA/kgf/cm^(2)) according to an applied pressure(1kgf/cm^(2)~4kgf/cm^(2)).

In order to study the effect of Saeggantang on the liver damage of the Rats intoxicated CCl_4(CCl_4) and d-galactosamine, the activity of liver specific transaminases, triglyceride level, total cholesterol level in Serem and biliary secretion amount were measured. The results were as follows: 1. The GOT activity and total cholesterol level in serum of rats intoxicated by CCl_4(CCl_4) were found to be significantly decreased, and the triglyceride level was showed to be significantly increased. 2. The GOT activity in the serum of rats intoxicated by d-galactosamine was showed to be significantly decreased, the cholesterol and triglyceride level were found to be significantly increased. 3. In Consecutive administration of Saenggantang, the GOT, GPT activity and total cholesterol level in the serum of rats intoxicated by CCl_4 were showed to be significantly decreased from the 6th day, and the triglyceride level was showed to be significantly increased. 4. The increase of biliary secretion amount was found to be significantly increased. Accrording to the above findings, it is presumed that Saenggantang Can be applicable to the treatment. of liver disease.

This paper is attempt to assess the role of economic policy in the process of real economy. To purse this goal, it summarizes the theoretical discussion on the effect of economic policy. New Keysesian economists suggest that economic policy can play a prominent role in real economy. Contrary to this, new classical economists suggest that economic policy has a neutral role in real world, but only stimulates inflation.
