진동 해석을 이용한 볼베어링의 피로수명 평가

본 연구에서는 반경방향하중과 모멘트하중이 있는 볼베어링의 동적 emdr가하중(dynamic equivalent load) 값과 정량화된 케이지의 회전속도에 관한 제안 값을 이용하여 새로운 수명 보정방정식을 연구하였다. 피로수명 시험은 급속 파손방법(sudden death method)으로 실시하였고, 피로수명의 신뢰성은 Weibull 분포해석을 통하여 평가하였다. 결함판정은 볼베어링 결함 위치에 따라 생긴 진동신호를 측정하여 고주파 공진기법을 이용한 진동해석으로 볼베어링 결함의 위치를 파악할 수 있었다. In this study. the new life equation of ball bearing for the formulation of dynamic equivalent load considering the effects of moment load and the equation to estimate the cage rotational speed was proposed. Fatigue life tests were executed by sudden death test method, and the reliability of fatigue lives was evaluated by Weibull distribution analysis. The characteristics of vibration were measured at the defect positions of ball bearing. The signal was analyzed by high frequency resonance technique Experimental investigations have shown that the FFT spectrum analysis is an effective method for analyzing the defective ball bearing.

제올라이트 A를 혼화재로 사용한 모르터의 특성 연구

The characteristics of cement pastes and mortars containing zeolite A were investigated. The hydration of C₃S was a little restrained in cement pastes containing Zeolite A. The cement pastes containing zeolite A also exhibited that the formation of Ca(OH)₂ decreased and the amount of macropores increased with zeolite content. The strength of the mortar admixed zeolite A was lower than that of plain and decreased with zeolite content. These results would be related to the residual NaOH in the powder of zeolite A, which had influence on the cement hydration.

고정상태에서 경상용차용 타이어의 진동특성

To investigate differences between the dynamic characteristics of two kinds of light-duty truck tires, modal testings have been performed on radial tire and bias tire under constrained condition. Through the test, modal parameters, such as natural frequencies, modal decay rates and mode shapes, were obtained. The mode shapes in direction of circumference and of meridian are presented. The test results have shown that the modal frequencies of bias tire are much higher than the corresponding values of radial tire with a similar mode shape, which is in accordance with the fact that the radial rigidity of bias tire is higher than that of radial tire. Most of the modal decay rates of bias tire are larger than those of radial tire within the scope of this experiment. In the frequency domain range of test, the bias tire has extra mode which do not occur in the radial tire. This difference is based on the fact that the circumferential rigidity of the bias tire is quite low whereas that of radial tire is so high that the frequencies of the corresponding modes are out of the frequency range of test. As the inflation pressure increases, the natural frequencies are increased while most of the modal decay rates remain constant or are decreased slightly.

HFCVD법을 이용하여 제작한 n-형 다이아몬드 박막의 특성 연구

HFCVD법으로 암모니아 가스를 사용하여 n-형 도핑된 다이아몬드 박막을 제작하여, 기판온도와 암모니아 가스 첨가비에 따른 박막의 morphology의 변화를 조사하였다. 증착된 시료에 대한 SEM, Raman, XRD를 이용하여 박막의 특성을 분석하고, 도핑에 따른 전계방출 특성을 측정하였다. 양질의 n-형 도핑된 다이아몬드 박막을 증착시키기 위해 기판온도와 암모니아 첨가비에 따른 최적의 증착조건을 찾을 수 있었다. We fabricate n-doped diamond thin films by hot filament chemical vapor deposition method(HFCVD) using ammonia as a doping gas and investigate the effect of the substrate temperature and the ammonia gas ratio upon the diamond film morphology. The SEM, Raman spectroscopy, and the XRD analysis are executed to characterize film morphology. Field emission property of the film is measured also. We find optimum conditions of the substrate temperature and the ammonia gas ratio to deposit high quality n-doped diamond thin films.

채소류에 의한 카드뮴과 납의 흡수에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 전통적으로 우리 식탁의 주요 부식으로 이용되어온 콩나물과 미나리를 Cd와 Pb가 함유된 배양액으로 재배하는 동안 이들 채소에 Cd와 Pb 가 어느 정도 흡수되는가를 조사하였다. 또한 수경재배에서 Cd와 Pb에 의한 콩나물의 생육장해 정도를 조사하였다. 배양액속에 함유된 Pb이온은 재배기간 동안 미나리와 콩나물 체내로 쉽게 흡 수되었다. 그리고 미나리는 콩나물보다 더 많은 양의 Pb를 흡수하였는데, 이 는 미나리의 줄기에 다량의 뿌리가 붙어있기 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 또한 배양액속의 Pb의 농도와 미나리와 콩나물 체내에 축적된 Pb의 함량과는 높은 상관성을 나타내었는데, 각각의 상관계수(r^2)는 0.9411, 0.9828이었다. Cd역시 Pb와 마찬가지로 재배기간 동안 미나리와 콩나물 체내로 쉽게 흡수되 었다. 또한 배양액속의 Cd의 농도와 미나리와 콩나물 체내에 축적된 Cd의 함 량과는 높은 상관성을 나타내었는데, 각각의 상관계수(r^2)은 0.9900, 0.9054이었다. 그러나 두 식물체에서 Pb의 흡수 경우와는 달리 배양액속에 함유되어 있는 Cd의 농도가 높을 경우 콩나물이 미나리보다 더 많은 Cd을 흡수하였다. 콩나물의 경우에는 Cd과 Pb이 재배기간 동안 거의 비슷한 양으로 흡수되었으며, 그리고 배양액 속에 함유된 이들 중금속들과 콩나물 체내에 축적된 중금속들 사이의 직선회귀선의 기울기도 거의 유사하였다. 그러나 미나리의 경우에는 Pb이 Cd보다 상당히 많은 양이 흡수되었으며, 또한 직선회귀선의 기울기도 Cd보다 Pb의 경우 상당히 크게 나타났다. Cd와 Pb의 농도가 1mg/l일 경우에는 콩나물 길이의 성장 또는 외관상의 생육에 거의 영향이 없었다. 그러나 10mg/l 농도에서부터는 길이의 성장장해뿐만 아니라 외관상으로도 분명한 장해현상이 나타났다. 50mg/l와 100mg/l의 농도에서는 콩나물의 생육장해가 더욱 심해졌다. Pb의 경우에는 100mg/l의 농도에서, Cd의 경우에는 50mg/l의 농도에서부터 재배기간 동안 콩나물의 상당 부분이 썩는 현상이 나타났다. This study was conducted to investigate the uptake of Cd and Pb by vegetables. Bean sprout and dropwort, which are very important for traditional korean dishes, were cultivated in culture fluid added with Cd and Pb cations, and the content of Cd and Pb absorbed by these vegetables were measured. Pb cations in culture fluid were easily absorbed into bean sprout and dropwort. And dropwort absorbed Pb more than bean sprout did. Pb contents of bean sprout and dropwart dramatically increased with increasing Pb concentration in culture fluid. The correlation coefficients(r^2) between Pb contents in dropwort and bean sprout and Pb concentrations in culture fluid were 0.9411 and 0.9828, respectively. Cd cations were also easily absorbed into bean sprout and dropwort. The correlation coefficients(r^2) between Cd contents in dropwort and bean sprout and Cd concentrations in culture fluid were 0.9900 and 0.9054, respectively. The growth of bean sprout was not hindered at the concentration of 1mg/ℓ Cd and Pb in culture fluid. But high Cd and Pb concentrations hindeded remarkably the growth of this vegetable. A large part of bean sprout was rotten at the concentrations of 50 mg/ℓ Cd, and 100 mg/ℓ Pb.

Cr-Cu/p-Si MIS型 太陽電池의 製作 및 特性

Cr-Cu/p-Si MIS solar cells haveing about 1-㎠ area have been fabricated by sequential vacuum evaporation of Cr and Cu metals on the (111) surface of p-type Si single crystal with a thin interfacial layer of SiO_2. The spectral response measurements and the effects of the oxide layer thickness between Cr and Si-substrate were investigated. Also, The antireflection coating improves signifficantly the conversion effieciency of Cr-Cu/p-Si MIS solar cells. Under AM1 illumination of solar simulator, the parameters of the best cell obtained are open-circuit voltage V_oc=0.5V, short-circuit current I_sc=26㎃, fill factor FF=0.67 and conversion efficiency η=8.7%.

남조류 Synechocystis PCC 6803의 광저해 기작에 있어서 막지질 지방산 불포화의 역할

남조류 Synechocystis PCC 6803의 지방산 double mutant인 desA-/desD-균주를 이용하여 막지질의 지방산 불포화가 광합성 기구의 광저해로부터의 회복과정에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 이 돌연변이 균주는 desA 유전자와 desD 유전자가 각각 kanamycin 저항성 cartridge와 chloramphenicol 저항성 cartridge에 의하여 불활성화되어 있는 균주로서 그 결과 Δ 12 desaturase 및 Δ 6 desaturase 활성이 결여되어 있어 틸라코이드 막지질의 지방산 불포화도가 감소된 세포들이다. 3.0 mmol quanta m-2s-1의 강한 빛으로 25℃와 20℃에서 광저해를 일으킨 후 약광하에서 30℃의 배양온도로 복귀시키고 경시적으로 시료를 채취하여 광계Ⅱ의 전자 전달 활성을 측정하였다. 20℃에서 2시간동안 고광처리한 desA-/desD- 균주의 경우 광계Ⅱ의 불활성화가 가장 심하게 일어났으며, 이후 24시간 동안의 회복처리 기간동안에도 광계Ⅱ활성은 좀처럼 회복되지 않았다. 그러나, 야생형의 경우에는 동일한 실험조건에서 회복시 상당한 정도의 광계Ⅱ활성의 회복을 관찰할 수 있었다. 돌연변이 균주에서 보이는 바와 같은 광계Ⅱ복합체의 낮은 회복속도는 돌연변이주 틸라코이드 막지질의 지방산 불포화도가 감소된 결과에 기인하는 것으로서, 막지질 지방산 불포화의 감소로 인하여 광계Ⅱ복합체의 회복에 필요한 D1 단백질의 대사회전이 제한되기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. Using two strains of cyanobacterial speceis, namely, wild-type Synechocystis PCC 6803 and its fatty acid double mutant desA-desD-, effects of fatty acid unsaturation of membrane lipids were studied on the photoinhibition and the subsequent recovery from the photoinhibited state. The fatty acid double mutant desA-/desD- of Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 contains desA and desD genes, each encoding Δ 12 and Δ 6 desaturase, disrupted with kanamycin-and chloramphenicol-resistance gene cartridges, respectively. By inactivation of the genes for desaturases, the extent of fatty acid unsaturation was reduced in thylakoid membranes of the double mutant. To induce photoinhibition, both the mutant and the wild-type strains were transferred to either 25℃ or 20℃ and immediately exposed to strong light. Then they were allowed to recover at 30℃ under dim light from the photoinhibited state. The results showed that the mutant cells were most severely photoinhibited after 2h-exposure to strong light at 20℃. Moreover, the photoinhibited desA-/desD- cells showed very minor recovery from the photoinhibited state during 24-h recovery period, compared to wild-type cells that showed considerable restoration of photosystem Ⅱ activity. The slow recovery of photosystem Ⅱ complex from the photoinhibited state, as shown in desA-/desD- cells, implies that low unsaturation level of fatty acids in thylakoid membranes limits turnover of D1 proteins in the PS Ⅱ complex.

Hand-Schu¨ller-Christian병 1례

We present a case of Hand-Schu¨ller Christian disease occuring in a 7-year-old boy. The patient had suffered from polyuria, Polydipsia with protrusion of the eye balls and seborrheic lesions on his scalp since 4 years of age. The biopsy specimens from the skin showed an infiltrate composed almost entirely of loosely aggregated histiocytes in the upper portion of the dermis.

Four Years Reports of "Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association" during 2001 to 2005 were evaluated by 18 Editorial Board of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association. We investigated the articles to specific fields and rejection rate etc. by different section chiefs. Although several problems concerning review time duration and rejection guideline issues indicated but generally all reviewer processes proved relatively clear and concise criteria. Through these objective and systematic evaluation Processes, "Journal of Korean Neuropsychiatric Association" will develop a good journal.
