We propose a new record and retrieval system for monitoring video data which is based on image analysis technique to increase the efficiency of video monitoring system. In General, most developed system monitored and saved all region including background and target region. But we can only obtain target region effectively, not through background and object region. And also, in order to recognize the monitoring target correctly, we need several target region image which have various poses and directions.

In this paper, a cutting method of rolled steel in rolling mill is proposed. Because rolled still cut automatically by image analysis of it captured from camera, proposed method have more minimal loss and error ratio. Specially proposed system used not expensive image frame grabber but inexpensive video overlay board.
단일클론 항 γ-Glutamyltrasferase(GCT) 항체를 이용한 혈뇌장벽 내 GGT의 분포에 관한 연구

γ-Glutamyltransferase(GGT: E.C. 2.3.2.2.) is a glycoprotein enzyme which is involved in glutathione metabolism and amino acid transport through the plasma membrane. It is distributed widely in several organs including liver, kidney, pancrease and brain. GGTs derived from the brain of Wister rats and BALB/c mice were biochemically purified to a specific activity of 4246.2, 862.1 units per mg of protein, a purification folds 93.7, 43.8 and the final yield 65.8, 44.0% respectively. Electrophoretic pattern of purified GGTs from rats and mice brain shows very similar protein fraction each other. We have produced six monoclonal antibodies(GGT-MAb 1-6) against 2-acetamidofluorene treated rat liver GGT. Using these GGT-MAb 1-6 we performed immunohistochemistry(IHC) to study the distribution of GGY isozymes in normal tissues of rat brain and in ncoplastic tissues of human brain. The results indicated that human brain GGT was localized in pericytes of blood-brain barrier, especially in the blood-rich portion of the brain(e.g. cerebellum of rat, meningioma and craniopharyngioma of human). Therefore these MAbs may be used to evaluate the distribution of GGT isozymes in different tissues.

In this paper, we propose a content-based news video retrieval system. And we propose efficient indexing and retrieval of news video using key frames. It is used in the experiments to demonstrate that text segmentation and text recognition are suitable for indexing and retrieval of relevant news video scenes in and from a video database. and we implemented the content based umage retrieval system that indexes and retrieves the images by extracting edges from the object.

In this paper, we propose a video editing system using tracking of moving objects which improves conventional video editing system. And we propose a new video structuring method for reconstructuring a structured logical video which adds logical video information to a conventional structured video. The proposed structured video is reconstructed in logical unit like episodes as well as in physical unit like shots. It can find other shot using object(icon). It can support many video functions and may be reusable in many video applications - video browsing, video retrieval, video editing, etc. We also present the video database management system in order to manage the proposed structured video. Also, we design and implement video retrieval system using GUI(Graphic User Interface, Icon) or CUI(Character User Interface) and editing system using the proposed logical structure.

모폴로지칼 계층적 구조를 이용한 3차원 거리 영상의 인식에 관한 연구

The segmentation and classification of range image is essential and significant problem to recognize 3-D objects. The range image is divided into surface primitives which are homogeneous in their intrinsic differential geometric properties and do not contain discontinuities in either depth or surface orientation. Generally surface curvature is well-known feature for segmentation and classification of the range image, but it is sensitivie to noise. In this paper, one way to solve the noise problem is to model by morphological hierarchical structure of surface feature. The hierarchical structure of surface feature is robust to noise and the result of segmentation is better than conventional method of one level.

It is difficult to analyze the behavior of the geogrid reinforced soil walls, because most of the design methods for the reinforced soil structures with geogrids are based on the theory of the rigid-plasticity which takes no account of displacement and deformation of reinforcing material in the soil. In this study, the finite element analyses of geogrid reinforced retaining walls are performed to suggest an useful design method which consider the displacement and deformation of reinforcing material in the soil. The reinforcing effects on geogrid reinforced retaining wall are related with the length and interval of reinforcing materials. So the effects are analyzed with four different interval of reinforcing materials. It can be concluded from the results of analyses that the wall displacement, the earth pressure on the wall, the vertical stress distribution in the foundation and the settlement of backfill surface are decreased in direct proportion to the decrease of the interval.
On the Local Identifiability of Load Model Parameters in Measurement-based Approach

It is important to derive reliable parameter values in the measurement-based load model development of electric power systems. However parameter estimation tasks, in practice, often face the parameter identifiability issue; whether or not the model parameters can be estimated with a given input-output data set in reliable manner. This paper introduces concepts and practical definitions of the local identifiability of model parameters. A posteriori local identifiability is defined in the sense of nonlinear least squares. As numerical examples, local identifiability of third-order induction motor (IM) model and a Z-induction motor (Z-IM) model is studied. It is shown that parameter illconditioning can significantly affect on reliable parameter estimation task. Numerical studies show that local identifiability can be quite sensitive to input data and a given local solution. Finally, several countermeasures are proposed to overcome ill-conditioning problem in measurement-based load modeling.
