      • 마이크로웨이브를 이용한 분말식품의 멸균에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 현재 소매점에서 판매되고 있는 T-식품회사의 미싯가루를 이용하여 그 속에 존재하는 오염 미생물을 분리하였고 그 특성을 조사하였으며 효과적인 멸균 방법을 새로이 제안하였다. 완제품 미싯가루 1 그램 중에는 약 5000 여 마리의 세균이 존재하고 있었으며 그 미생물들을 형태적, 생리적 특성을 비교하여 분류한 결과 모두 9종류임을 알아내었다. 자외선을 이용하여 멸균을 시도한 결과 120초간 조사하였을 때 살균효과가 약 15% 정도인 것으로 밝혀 졌으며 65℃ 건열을 이용하여 멸균을 하였을 경우 12분간의 처리에서 약 35% 정도의 살균효과를 볼 수 있었다. 가정용 마이크로웨이브를 처리하였을 경우 살균 효과가 현저하게 나타났으며 80초간의 조사로 약 94%의 멸균효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 이런 기초자료를 토대로 공업적 생산에 응용하기 위해 scale-up 공정이 필요하다고 여겨지며 분유를 포함한 분말식품을 효과적으로 멸균하기 위한 공업용 마이크로웨이브 멸균기의 연구가 필요하다고 생각된다. Roasted grain powder from retail market was irradiated with microwave for different periods to improve its hygienic quality. Microwave treatments for 80s and 120s were of the same effectiveness whereas treatment for 60s was less so. I suggest that the microwave treatment is a safe and suitable technique for the decontamination of roasted grain powder compared with the sterilization using UV or dry heat.

      • 잔디포장에서 Pendimethalin의 처리시기에 따른 잡초방제 효과

        Pendimethalin is a selective dinitroaniline herbicide, which is widely used for controlling annual and biennial weeds. It has been general that the application timing of pendimethalin was early Spring, when weeds started to germinate or regrow. The objective of this study was to evaluate the possibility that the early Spring application timing could be altered into Fall season for control of over-wintering weed species as well as annual weeds by persistence of pendimethalin in turf soil. Different amounts of pendimethalin were applied 1) at late Fall (Nov. 21, 1997) when the turf was at the dormancy and 2) early Spring (Mar. 6, 1998) when the weeds began to germinate. The pendimethalin residues in turf soil were assayed along with the developmental trend of weeds. Good correlation was obtained between the chemical and biological assay, suggesting that pendimethalin could be applied in late Fall rather than early Spring to control biennial weeds together with annual weeds.

      • 수분부족시 대두유묘의 세포신장 특성

        Plant growth is affected by water deficiency around roots. We developed a dark-grown soybean seedling system, in which water deficiency was created by transplanting from wet (high water potential = -0.01 MPa) to water-deficient (low water potential = -0.3 MPa) vermiculite. Using this system, we investigated seedling growth, cell length profile along the hypocotyl and cell wall synthesis in the elongation region during a water deficiency. Stem grew linearly after trans-planting to high water potential but stern growth is inhibited during a water deficiency. At lour water potential stem growth recovered a little 2 days after trans-planting. In contrast to stem, root grew continuously after transplanting both to high and low water potential. Cells along the hypocotyl of Day 0 seedlings elongated continuously, resulting in the maximum cell length of about 280prn 1 day after transplanting to high water potential. However, cell elongation was completely inhibited by transplanting to low water potential. If seedlings were met a condition sufficient for growth, such as rewatering or adapting to low water potential, maximum cell length was restored. Cell wall dry weight increased continuously in the elongation region at low water potential, but at the reduced rate of control, indicating that the inhibition of cell elongation responsible for stem growth at low water potential was not due to the insufficient cell wall synthesis.

      • Pendimethalin의 살포제형이 잡초방제 및 토양잔류성에 미치는 영향

        Pendimethalin is a selective herbicide, a chemical family of dinitroanilines, which is widely used for controlling annual and biennial weeds. The most widely used formulation of pendimethalin is emulsifiable concentrate (EC). Recently, formulations other than EC type, such as dispersible granule (DG) and capsule suspension (CS), have been developed to enhance safety for users by eliminate organic solvent in EC formulation. To find any differences in biological efficacies and soil persistence, the number of newly developed weed species and residual amounts after chemical application were monitored for 50 days at 10 days interval. The analytical method for pendimethalin residues was successfully validated as measured by mean recovery of 99.6±7.1% (n=6) and detection limit of 0.005 mg/kg. All of these kinds of formulations controlled efficiently most of annual weeds. However, there were no differences in weed control efficacy between three formulation types. Also there were statistically no differences in half-lives between formulations examined, indicating that DG and CS formulations could successfully substitute the classical EC formulation.

      • 저장조건에 따른 Leucaena 화분의 발아력

        Leucaena is the common name for Leucaena leucocephala which is a tropical leguminous tree with a potential value as a source of wood production, high quality forage, and revegetation of hillslopes. In spite of the plant's value, both the differences of pod setting ratio among Leucaena species and the differences of flowering period limited breeding of high quality species of Leucaena plant. To overcome these problems this study was conducted to find the possibility of long term storage of Leucaena pollen by using vacuum and low temperatures. Pollen viability decreased after 1.5 days after storage at room temperature. The same trend was observed for the pollen stored at refrigerator (91℃). Pollen viability, however, was maintained longer with decreasing storage temperature to that of freezer (-17℃). Vacuum treatment also helped to maintain pollen viability either at room or refrigerator temperatures. The ratio of exploded pollen showed the same pattern as the percentage of normally germinated pollen stored under different conditions except the pollen stored at refrigerator. Average tube lengths of germinated pollens were 4.3 and 3.6 mm for the pollen stored at freezer and refrigerator with vacuum, respectively. In conclusion, the viability of Leucaena pollen could be extended by storing under vacuum at freezing temperatures.

      • Bulit In 테스트 방식을 이용한 CMOS의 테스터블 설계

        In this paper, we proposed a new algolithes which use path sensitized concepts to detect multiple stuck open faults in CMOS circuits efficientry. It can detect all the multiple stuck open faults in the fanout free circuits. And this algorithm can be applled to any circuits that is constructed by all general logic gates. Also, a testable design method for CMOS circuits using NLFSR(Nonlinear Feedback Shift Register) in BILBO is suggested. A NLFSR is designed to test CMOS circuits by applying pattern merging method for a consecutive generation of initializing patterns and test patterns and reordering algorithm. Through the implementation and of test pattern generation and reordering algorithm with C-language on the IBM 386(MS-DOS)Computer, the efficiency of algorithm and the availability of designed methode are verified.

        Activities of the component metal in Zn-Cd, Zn-Bi-Cd alloys have been determined at 823 K by touch instant electromotive force method. The cell employed was ◁표삽입▷ (원문을 참조하세요) Activities of each component metal which obtained by T.I.E. method showed similar tendencies with the compare of the equilibrium concentration cell method. But activities of the noble metals showed small difference in some range. This difference was made from the substitution reactions in the molten electrolyte, and from calculation's error.

      • Pendimethalin이 벼의 생육에 미치는 영향 : Oryza sativa

        일년생 잡초 방제용 제초제 pendimethalin을 이앙과 동시에 처리하였을 때 벼의 초기 생육에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 지상부와 뿌리의 생장에는 거의 영향을 미치지 않았다. 2. 분얼수는 pendimethalin 처리 후 30일에 다소 감소하였으나 이후 회복되는 경향이었다. 3. 지상부의 거눌중은 처리후 30일에 다소 감소하였으며 이러한 감소비율은 처리 후 40일에도 비슷하였다. 반면 뿌리의 건물중 변화에는 영향이 없었다. This study was carried out to investigate the effect of pendimethalin treatment on the early growth of rice(Oryza saliva). Rice seedlings were transplanted in pot and herbicides, pendimethalin and butachlor, were treated immediately after transplanting. Plant length, tiller number and plant dry weight were measured after 10, 20, 30 and 40 days after transplanting. Shoot and root length were not affected by pendimethalin and butachlor treatments. However, tiller number at 40 days after transplanting(DAT) was reduced by pendimethalin and butachlor about 0.3 and 3.7 no./plant, respectively. Even though plant length was not affected by both pendimethalin and butachlor treatments, dry weight was reduced. The reduction of dry weight of shoot at 40 DAT by pendimethalin and butachlor was about 12 and 46%, respectively. In contrast, root dry weight was not affected by pendimethalin treatment.
