      • Gate array를 이용한 8-bit CMOS Subranging ADC의 설계

        An 8-bit Subranging Converter(ADC) has been realized in a 1.2-㎛ Silicon Gate, Double Metal CMOS process. Gate arrays have used for the design. The ADC uses 31 comparators and is capable of conversion rates to 6.7MHz at Vdd = 5V, Vss = -5V. A voltage comparator with 4mV resolution and 61ns response time, and analog switch(Transmission Gate) of 300Ω on-resistance value can be realized on the same chip with digital circuits. Chip size is 2.284X2.284㎟

      • AISI 316 스테인리스강의 크리프-피로 상호작용시 수명예측에 관한 연구

        The effect of tensile hold time on the creep-fatigue interaction in AISI 316 stainless steel was investigated. To study the fatigue characteristics of the material, strain controlled low cycle fatigue(LCF) tests were carried out under the continuous triangular waveshape with three different total strain ranges of 1.0%, 1.5%, and 2.0%. To study the creep-fatigue interaction, 5 min., 10 min., and 30 min. of tensile hold times were applied to the continuous triangular waveshape with the same three total strain ranges. The creep-fatigue life was found to be the longest when the 5 min. tensile hold time was applied and was the shortest when the 30 min. tensile hold time was applied. The cause for the shortest creep-fatigue life under the 30 min. tensile hold time is believed to be the effect of the increased creep damage per cycle as the hold time increases. Under the total strain range of 1%, significant reduction in life was observed as the tensile hold time was increased compared to the result of 2% total strain range. The theoretical prediction obtained by the Modified Coffin-Manson method and the experimental results of creep-fatigue life were found to be in resonable agreement with each other.

      • 유지시간 변화에 따른 크리프-피로 수명예측 방법에 관한 연구

        In this study, creep-fatigue tests were carried out under the various test conditions using AISI 316 stainless steel. Life prediction was made by three different methods which are the modified Coffin-Manson method, the modified Ostergen method and the artificial neural network method with the adaptive learning rate. The predicted lives were compared with the experimental results and following conclusions were obtained within the scope of this study. Creep-fatigue life prediction by the modified Coffin-Manson method and the modified Ostegren method had the average error of 47.3% and 50.8% respectively whereas the artificial neural network method had only 28.8% for compressive and tensile+compressive hold time. From the obtained results, the artificial neural network method with the adaptive learning rate was proved to be more accurate and effective than the other two methods. The validity of artificial neural network method for life prediction checked with 3 verification data points proved also to be very satisfactory.

      • AISI 4320 강과 AISI 4340 강의 Tempered Martensite Embrittlement 현상에 관한 연구

        The effect of carbon and austenitizing temperature on Tempered Martensite Embrittlement(TME) has been studied using AISI 4320 and AISI 4340 steels. Samples were austenitized at 870℃ and 1170℃ to change the austenite grain sizes and then oil quenched to obtain the martensite structure. Tempering was performed between 200℃ and 500℃ for 1 hour. The change of TME characteristics has been studied by the measurements of mechanical properties and the investigation of microstructures. Some of the conclusions obtained from the study are as follows; (1) As the austenitizing temperature increases, the tempering temperature where \4E occurs also increases. This is believed to be the effect of larger grain size and more homogeneous distribution of carbon at the higher austenitizing temperature. (2) The CVN impact energy values of the samples austenifized at the lower temperature were found to be higher than those of samples austenifized at the higher temperature, indicating the effect of the fine grain structure. (3) When TME occured, fracture was intergranular. This indicates that TME is associated with the combined effects of the cementite precipitation during the tempering process and the impurity segregation during the austenitizing treatment.

        Anti-fungal materials producing bacteria were isolated from soil by bennett's agar and actinomycete isolation agar medium. The bacteria were identified as synonym of Actinomycetes. Based on the data obtained from its morphological and colony characteristics. The medium for production of anti-fungal materials was YEME (yeast extract 4g, malt extract 10g, glucose 4g, D.W 1l, pH 7.0±0.2). The culture conditions were 30℃, 7 days and 200 rpm in shaking incubator. No.13, No.15 and No.28 strains were produced anti-fungal materials against fungal plant pathogens. Specially, The No. 28 strain showed a powerful biopesticide activity and broad spectrum effects of anti-fungal materials on Collectrichum coccodes, Botrytis cinerea, Ciadosporium cucumerinum, Didvmella bryoniae,.

      • 體格과 基礎體力의 相關에 관한 硏究

        With 216 subjects of freshmen at College of Commerce, an experiment was done to find out the correlation between physique-standing height, sitting height, girth of chest, body weight and physical fitness-pull-ups, standing broad jump, soft-ball throwing, 100m running. The results are as follows: 1) There is low correlation between physique and 100m running. Physique is correlated to sitting height, to standing height, to body weight, to girth of chest in that order. 2) There is very low correlation between physique and pull-ups. Physique is correlated to sitting height, to standing height, to body weight, to girth of chest in that order. 3) There is little correlation between physique and standing broad jump. Physique is correlated to girth of chest, to body weight, to standing height, to sitting hight in that order. 4) There is nearly no correlation between physique and soft-ball throwing. Physique is correlated to sitting height, to girth of chest, to body weight, to standing height in that order.

        우리나라 목재수요의 장기예측에 관한 연구

        This study not only carried out to grasp about the summarized characteristics of the relationship between international timber market and production trend of wood products, but also focused on the analysis of korean wood demand and the long-term forecast with econometric analysis. The result of regression analysis for wood demand in Korea is that coniferous roundwood demand(CIWD) is explained by coniferous foreign roundwood price(CWRI), Gross domestic product(GDP), a dummy variable. Non-coniferous roundwood demand(NCIWD)is explained by non-coniferous roundwood price(NCWRI), coniferous roundwood price(CWRI), a dummy variable. As the result of long-term forecast by base case, the total roundwood demand was forecasted 11,107,000㎥ in the year 2000, 11,781,000㎥ in 2005, 12,565,000㎥ in 2010. As the result of scenario 1, total roundwood demand was forecasted 11,027,000㎥ in 2000, 11,435,000㎥ in 2005, 11,952,000㎥ in 2010. And as the result by scenario 2, total roundwood demand was forecasted 11,341,000㎥ in 2000, 12,208,000㎥ in 2005 13,257,000㎥ in 2010.

      • 동부 F_2 世代에 있어서 莢柄長, 莢長 및 莢當粒數에 관한 遺傳分析

        This experimental studies were conducted to clarify the effects of selection, and aimed at estimating genetic parameters such as, gene action, combining ability and heritability on three agronomic characters in Cowpea (Vigna sinensis Savi.). The six different parents and 15 F_2 hybrids by 6×6 diallel crosses were used as materials, and were planted in a randomized block design with three replications. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. Vr-Wr graphic analyses Length of pod stalk was found to be inherited in over dominance. and length of pod and seed numbers per pod were inherited in partial dominance. 2. Components of variance: Estimates of additive components of variances were greater than those of dominance components of variances for length of pod and seed numbers per pod. Negative values of F were estimated for two characters, length of pod and seed numbers per pod. The highest heritability value was found in length of pod, but the value of seed numbers per Pod was the lowest. 3. Combining ability analyses: The mean squares of general combining ability for length of pod and seed numbers per pod were higher than those of specific combining ability. 4. Effects of combining ability: The high GCA effects were expressed by variety TVu1857 in length of pod stalk and seed numbers per pod, variety TVu2885 in length of pod. The high SCA effects were exhibited in the hybrids between TVu1857×J78 and TVu2885×J80 in length of pod stalk and seed numbers per pod, TVu1857×TVu2885 and TVu2734×TVu2885 in length of pod. Therefore, it can be concluded that TVu lines could be the useful varieties in cowpea breeding for long pod and high yielding.
