Myosin, the major protein required for the production of force and shortening in muscle, is a hexamer consisting two heavy chains (molecular mass∼200kDa) and pairs of light chains (molecular mass∼16 and 20kDa). Myosin and other contractile apparates from the left ventricular myocardium of rabbit were extracted using pyrophospate buffer system and was purified by using the gel filtration. And partially purified each protein component was confirmed by the electrophoresis in non-dissociation and dissociating conditions respectively. On Disc-PAGE of the crude extract, 4 bands clearly appeared and 3 protein components were separated by chromatography in the 5 fractions. In dissociating electrophoresis, each bands were separated into subunit in the pyrophosphate buffer. The first fraction contained the heavy chain of myosin, tropomyosin and myosin light chain 1 and 2. The second and third fraction were composed of tropomyosin and actin and the proteins that had molecular mass smaller than 15kDa were in the fourth and fifith fractions.

This study was conducted to investigate seedling characteristics of Job's tears according to the seed size and different germination temperatures in order to find out the method to improve the seedling vigor and uniform establishment of Job's tears(Coix lachryma-jobi L.) in the field. The results obtained were summerized as follows. 1. In the 100 grain weight of seeds of two varieties. Yunchoon 9 ho was 14.2g, which was 2.4g more higher than that of Yulmoo 1 ho. 2. In the percentage of emergence of two varieties. Yunchoon 9 ho was 81.4% that was 7.4% more higher than that of Yulmoo 1 ho and small seed size was 6% more higher than large seed between seed sizes. 3. In the percentages of germination under different temperatures, 25℃ plot was 39.7%, which was lowest and 30℃ and 35℃ plots showed the same percentage of 96.7%. Accordingly it is judged that from 30℃ to 35℃ is advisable to ensure uniform emergence. 4. Days from seeding to emergence was not shown different between two varieties, but it was shown significantly different among seed size and temperature treated. Days from seeding to emergence of large seed size was 6.7 days which is 0.6 day shorter than that of 7.1 days of small seed. Among temperatures treated, 25℃, 30℃ and 35℃ were respectively and it was observed that 35℃ plot showed the shortest in days from seeding to emergence. 5. Dry weight of plant at 20 days after seeding among seed sizes and temperatures was shown statistically difference. Large seed was 38.0㎎ that is 8㎎ higher than 30㎎ of small seed. Dry weight due to the germinating temperatures of 25℃, 30℃ and 35℃, 35℃ plot showed 42.3㎎, which is highest compared with other two temperatures of 30.5㎎, and 29.0㎎ respectively. 6. Chemical composition of seeds in the content of moisture, ash and crude fat were not significantly different, but content of crude protein was significantly different.
코로나 플라즈마 처리에 의한 HDPE 표면의 개질에 관한 연구

We are able to generate the stable plasma in open air and nitrogen using a corona plasma treatment system(CPTS) with a high voltage. This was applied to treat the surface of rather non-polar HDPE(High Density Polyethylene) intended for the improvement of adhesion of over-coated layers such as coatings, printing inks. The surface tension of HDPE was significantly improved by the CPTS. The characteristics of surface layer were evaluated by means of contact angle measurement, ATR-FT/IR spectroscopy, and it was found that functional groups were introduced into the surface layer of the HDPE. The use of nitrogen was increased the surface tension of the HDPE from 33.8 mJ/m^2 to 66.56 mJ/m^2, and highly effective method of HDPE surface modification could be realized.
Liquidity-Adjusted Price-Dividend Ratios and Expected Returns

This paper proposes a liquidity-adjusted dividend-ratio model. Motivated by the liquidityadjusted asset pricing theory, we show that (log) stock prices, dividends, and stock liquidity are cointegrated and define their linear combination as liquidity-adjusted price-dividend ratios. By considering the potential effect of stock liquidity, our model improves not only the stationarity of price-dividend ratios but also out-of-sample forecasts of returns. We show that our model helps explain a number of asset pricing puzzles such as the equity volatility puzzle and unusual stock market behavior in the 1990s.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The present work aims to study the removal of color and COD from livestock wastewater by electrocoagulation (EC) process using Al electrodes. The Box–Behnken design and response surface methodology were used to investigate the effects of major operating variables and optimization conditions. The predicted values of responses obtained using the response function agree well with the experimental data. Economical operating conditions and removal efficiencies were found to be pH of 8, current density of 30mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP>, electrolysis time of 30min and NaCl concentration of 1g/L, and 95.2% (<I>Y</I> <SUB>1</SUB>) and 93% (<I>Y</I> <SUB>2</SUB>), respectively.</P>

루츠형 중진공펌프는 1~10-3torr 범위의 진공을 발생하기 때문에 진공상태에서 이루어지는 정밀가공, 증발, 농축, 분리, 주조, 증착, 이송 등의 여러 가지 생산 및 처리공정에 활용될 수 있어 진공을 필요로 하는 국내 여러 분야의 산업, 특히 반도체, 전자, 자동차, 금속소재, 환경설비, 물류 관련 제품을 생산하는 산업에서 수요량이 증가되는 추세이다. 그러나 국산 루츠형 중진공펌프는 진공도가 10-1torr 이하이며, 핵심부품이라 할 수 있는 펌프케이싱과 임펠러에 대한 CFD해석, 진동ㆍ소음저감, 3D 강도해석, 열팽창 및 내마모성을 감안한 정밀주조 등의 관련기술이 미흡하기 때문에 대부분 수입에 의존하고 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 이러한 애로기술을 해결하여 배기속도 2,500ㅡm3/h(진공도를 10-3torr) 정도인 루츠형 다단 중진공펌프 설계와 시작품에 적용될 성능시험 장치를 제작하여 확보하였다.

Due to a roots type medium vacuum pump is operated in condition of 1~10?³ torr vacuum, it could be applied for production and process of industrial parts, such as precise processing, vaporization, enrichment, separation, casting, metaling, welding, transportation. Therefore, the demand of this pump is increasing nowadays in our industrial markets of semiconductor, electric, electronic, automobile, material, environmental and transporting industries. However, the pumps arc almost imported, because the domestic pumps arc inferior in fields of vacuum range as under 10?¹torr, relevant techniques(design, fabrication, casting, test, etc.) to the imported ones. In this study, essential parts of the development pump arc designed with using of CFD and 3D decodes, FEM for analysing strength and deformation, generated heat, vibration and noise control, and arc casted with using of mechanochemistry techniques for decreasing of weights, increasing of heat resistances and abrasion durability of materials for pump caing and impellers especially. Besides, in order to achieve ultimate vacuum around 10?³torr, this pump is composed of 6 stages, among which tsr stage is operated separately from remained stages. Additionally, a test rig for prototype pumps(300㎥/h and 2,500㎥/h) is designed and procured as to apply for multi-staged rootz type vacuum pump, with modification of the test method recommended by KS B 6314 "Positive-displacement oil-sealed rotary vacuum pumps".
