      • 방사성표지 방법을 이용한 황함유 우유단백질의 이황화 결합간의 상호작용 연구

        열처리에 의해 단백질의 특성이 변형된 경우 기존의 단백질 분리방법에는 여러가지 제한적인 요소가 뒤따르므로 reductive methylation 방법에 의하여 [^(14)C]나 [³H]가 표지된 단백질을 만들고 이것을 이용하여 단백질과 단백질간의 상호작용을 연구할 수 있겠다. 즉 [^(14)C], [³H]-β-lactoglobulin을 이용하여 이 단백질이 다른 분자의 β-lactoglobulin과 결합한것(homologous aggregates)인지 아니면 κ-casein과 결합한것(heterologous complex)인지를 구별할 수 있었다. 열처리 후 분획별로 radioactivity를 측정하여 황함유 단백질간의 화학량론적인 계산을 한 결과, 대표적으로 β-lactoglobulin과 κ-casein는 1 : 0.4의 비율로 결합하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이처럼 정량적인 계산에도 그 이용범위를 확대할 수 있었으며 그 외에도 식품의 가공중 또는 열처리중에 일어나는 변화 현상에서 단백질-단백질의 상호작용 뿐만 아니라 단백질과 탄수화물의 상호작용, 단백질과 지방의 상호작용에도 그 이용 범위를 넓혀 이용 할 수 있겠다. Heat treatments may cause denaturation of proteins, particulary of whey proteins, resulting in adsorption to casein micelles and to possible interaction between β-lactoglobulin and κ-casein via thiol-disulfide interchange reactions and/or hydrophobic interactions. Studies to data have not adequately established the mechanism and stoichiometry of complex formation in situ in the bovine milk system. Many methods used to study protein interaction in complex mixtures are often unsuitable for application to thermally processed food systems, where severe heat treatment may change the properties of proteins and their reactivity in an analytical procedure. Reductive methylation was used for radiolabelling milk protein. ^(14)C-, ³H-methyl labelled protein can be detected and measured after the proteins have been denatured. Radiolabelled proteins are used for preparation of radiolabelled artificial casein micelles and used in studies on the mechanism and stoichiometry of complex formation between the casein micelles and whey proteins, containing sulfur groups, were isolated by Sephacryl S-300. S-1000 and analyzed quantitatively using radiolabeling procedure.

        Because of the prolongation of life span, the postmenopausal osteoporosis is a serious health problem, which needs active preventive and conservative measures. Recent evidence suggests that estrogen replacement therapy .(ERT), calcitonin, bisphosphonate and ipriflavone treatments are effective in preventing bone loss in postmenopausal women. In this study, we evaluated the effects of estrogen, ipriflavone, and combined therapy with estrogen and ipriflavone to BMD in various bone sites (lumbar spine, femoral neck and Ward's triangle). Forty-eight patients were devided into 3 groups by treatment modalities which are estrogen and ipriflavone group (n=12). After basal bone mineral desity (BMD) were determined by DEXA. (Dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Lunar Radiation Corp. U. S. A. ), the patient were received medication according to each treatment protocol. The patients with estrogen treatment group were 2mg estradiol and 10mg of medroxy progesterone for 21 days a month. The patients of ipriflavone treatment group were received 600mg daily. The patients with combined therapy with estrogen and ipriflavone were received same dose of other two treatment groups. The BMD after treatment were compaired with basal BMD. The results were as follows. 1) The BMD in lumbar spine and femoral neck were significantly increased after estrogen treatment. 2) The BMD in lumar spine was significantly increased after ipriflavone treatment but the BMD in femoral neck and Ward's triangle were not increased with ipriflavone treatment. 3) After combined therapy with estrogen and ipriflavone, the BMD in each sites were increased and the BMD in Ward's triangle was more incresed than estrogen or ipriflavone treatment alone. In conclusion, estrogen prevented cortical bone and trabecular bone loss. ipriflavone prevented trabecular bone loss. The combination with estrogen and ipriflavone was increased effects of estrogen to prevent trabecular bone loss.

      • 斜角에서 蒸着된 닉켈-철 薄膜의 電氣異方性

        The electrical anisotropy and the electric potential variance of thin 80% Ni-Fe films vapor-deposited from oblique angles have been investigated in this paper. An apparatus for measuring electric potential of thin films was made, and the measurement of electric potential has been performed satisfactorily. The apparatus consists of placing four probes that make contact on the cross on the surface of the specimen which vapor-deposited from oblique angles. The electric fields are added in the normal direction to the detection points of a pair of probes, and the floating potential is measured across the other pair. The experimental results by use of these four point probes are compared with some magnetic properties. The results of these measurements made in the range of 0˚ to 360˚ have shown the electrical anisotropy when the specimens have the thickness of 410Å and 570Å, and specimen over 1800Å has not shown the electrical anisotropy. The electric potential difference break down at angles of 105˚ and 285˚ for these anisotropic films. It is expected that these angles form the easy axis of electric conduction. Also these angles form the easy axis of magnetization.

        A simulation study for the ordering kinetics in a soft spin version of the XY model in one dimension is presented and compared with the simulation carried out by Newman, Bray, and Moore for the original hard spin XY model. We do not find any nonuniversal features discriminating the two models:the excess energy relaxation, dynamic scaling and the growth law, and decay of the auto correlation function are fully identical for both models.

      • 수학교육 평가의 새 동향과 제주지역 중학교 수학과 평가의 실태 연구

        This study aims to research about the new trends in the evaluation of mathematics education and the present conditions of the evaluation of mathematics study in middle schools in Cheju area. The main purposes of this study are as follows; 1) To survey the present conditions of the evaluation of mathematics study in middle schools in Cheju Province in view of the new trends of mathematics evaluation of NCTM(Nationa1 Council of Teachers of Mathematics), 2) To analyze both the aspects in which the present conditions of Cheju Province correspond and do not correspond with the new trends of the evaluation of mathematics study according to the result of our survey. In this study, the author made use of the questionnaire as the research tool which he prepared for himself at the basis of the new trends of mathematics evaluation of NCTM, and the author surveyed the teachers of mathematics in 40 middle schools, all of Cheju Province.

      • 動力耕耘機의 性能에 關한 硏究

        This was studied on working efficiency of power tiller (CT-83.N-6). Working power of power tiller(average horse power 6Hp. maximum horse power 8Hp) was operated three times in plow work(depth 15 cm, Cross size 60cm), which was chosen on clay loam field. Resuelt as following. ①The efficiency of power tiller`s was observed 2∼2.5 times to animal power(Cow), and needed 2l of fuel p/h. ②High speed on read was observed 14.6 per hour. ③Gravity position of power tiller is apt to decline where the main clutch was atta-ched, so it needs much attention in operating.

      • Cement 風化에 依한 Mortar 强度의 變化 및 물 Cement 比가 Concrete 强度에 미치는 影響

        本試險 結果는 여러가지 實驗施設과 使用器具의 不充分等 限定된 與件下에서 實施하였기에 많은 未備點과 充分한 結果를 가져 오지를 못하여 부끄럽게 생각하며, 다만 아래와 같은 몇가지는 말할 수가 있다. 1. Cement는 風化程度에 따라서 强度變化率에 顯著한 差異를 가져왔다. 壓縮强度에 있어서 材令 7日에서는 未風化된 Cement와 20日, 30日 및 40日間 自然狀態로 風化시킨 Cement를 各各 比較하여 보면 13.2%, 35.7%, 및 44.6%의 低下率을 가져왔고, 材令 28日에서는 14.0%, 17.0% 및 21.9%의 低下率을 가져왔다. 引張强度 역시 많은 低下率을 나타내고 있으니 破袋된 洋灰나 長期間 貯藏된 것을 使用할 때는 事前에 强度試險을 實施하여 使用해야 할 것이다. 2. Concrete 强度에 가장 많은 影響을 주는 것은 Water-cement ratio로서 比率이 增加되면 强度는 低下率이 높아진다. Water-cement ratio가 50%인 때를 基準으로 하여 55%, 60%, 65% 및 70%일 때와 壓縮强度의 低下率을 比較해 보면 6.3%, 16.3%, 24.4% 및 38%로 나타났으며 材令 28日에서는 8.2%, 15.5%, 19.3% 및 21.0%의 低下率을 나타내었으니 工事를 始作하기 前에 반드시 Slump test를 實施하여 Water-cement ratio를 正確히 使用함이 좋지 않을까 생각된다.
