인체구강상피세포의 배양조건에 대한 연구

Human epithelial cell cultures were initiated from explants of normal human oral mucosa. Growth parameter and cell type were assessed by DNA concentration and morphology of the cell lines. Tissues were excised and epithelial cells isolated by collagenase digestion. Spermine was used in order to inhibit overgrowth of the epithelial cells by fibroblast. The effects of different medium formulations were compared. Cultures maintained on the same volume of RPMI 1640 and Dulbecco's modified minimum essential medium containing 10 % fetal bovine serum, 10 ?g/ml of insulin, lng/ml of somatomedin and 10 ng/ml of epidermal growth factor showed optimal and maximal growth. For each cultured human oral epithelial cell the DNA content was in the- range of 5.7 pg to 6.6 pg. This culture system provides epithelial cells that can be used for a variety of dental and biochemical studies.

허혈성 흰쥐 해마에서 NMDA수용체 아단위 NR2B와 세포골격단백질 MAP-2의 변화

전반적 저산소증(global ischemia) 과 불완전 국소허혈(incomplete focal ischemia)에서 신경세포의 NMDA수용체 아단위 2B와 세포골격단백질 MAP2의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 immunoblot방법과 면역 조직화학법으로 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 해마신경세포의 연접이후치밀질(postsynaptic density, PSD) 를 이용한 NR2B, MAP2표현의 변화를 알아보면 저 산소증과 불완정 국소허혈에서 3일 후 감소 하다가 6일 후에는 점차 정상 수준으로 환원되었으며(저 산소증의 MAP2제외)반대편 해마의 경우 NR2B는 3일경과 후 표현이 감소 하다가 6일 후에는 정상 수준 이상으로 증가 하였으며 MAP2는 정상과 변화가 없었다. 2. 해마의 면역조직화학법에서 MAP2의 표현은 저 산소증과 동측의 불완전 국소허혈 부위의 CA1, CA3, DG 전체 지역에서 정상에 비해 3일 후 감소 하다가 6일 후 증가 하였다(허혈의 반대측 해마의 경우는 CA1에서 MAP2의 표현이 6일째 감소됨.) 이상의 관찰 결과를 종합 해볼때 해마 신경세포의 지연성 손상은 NMDA수용체 아단위 2B의 감소와 세포골격단백질 MAP2를 파괴하며 그 시기는 3일 이전에 일어나 6일경에는 회복하는 단계를 거치는 것으로 생각되며 정확한 회복 시기는 허혈의 정도에 따라 차이가 있을 것으로 생각된다. 또한 허혈 반대편 부위에서의 NR2B와 MAP2의 면역 반응성 감소는 허혈지역의 주변부위에서(penumbra)에서 나타나는 현상과 일치하였다. Degradation of MAP-2 in rat brain after hypoxia and ischemia was investigated through immunoblot analyses and immunohistochemistry. In order to test the changes of each NR subunits (NR2B) and MAP2 in neuronal damage, we carried out in vivo experiments to see if there is selective changes of MAP-2 and NR2B in global hypoxia and focal left common carotid artery ligation.. We found that, in global ischemia, NR2B was down-regulated and recovered to normal level by 3 and 6 days while MAP-2 was unchanged by the same days compared to untreated hippocampus, and that similar changes regarding to NR2B and MAP-2 were observed at ipsilateral hippocampus in focal ischemia. In contralateral hippocampus, NR2B expression was decreased and MAP-2 expression was unchanged compared to untreated hippocampus. These results imply that NR2B and MAP2 expression are regulated on the degree of ischemic damage in delayed neuronal death and that, in focal ischemia, down-regulation of NR2B in contralateral hippocampus may be a similar effect which is seen in the peripheral zone (penumbra) of ischemic region.

교실영어의 효율적인 사용 전략

This article proposes some strategies for effective use of classroom English in the EFL classroom. For this purpose, it argues the relationships between the use of classroom English and classroom language teaching. Through the use of classroom English, teachers of English should, whether native or non-native, help pupils progress from dependence on the book and on the teacher to independence, which is often called autonomy. The present article also analyzes the problems of current studies of classroom English. Particularly, the teachers of English who they think have limited proficiency of English and who teach young pupils in the EFL context may find that those studies rarely provide them with relevant information on classroom language teaching. A coherent, principled framework of classroom English needs to be proposed so that non-native speaker teachers of English can effectively use it for their English language teaching, depending on their students' age. The strategies thus developed are strongly supported by communicative language teaching in the EFL context.

SrTiO₃ 박막 제작과 Photon Energy 특성

SrTiO₃with nonpolarity among ferroelectrics by RF sputtering as dielectric layer. produces thin film of Si/SrTiO₃and Si/Ti/SrTiO₃of MOS structure using Ti as buffer layer. measures and examines the electrical features with optical photon energy ferroelectrics oscillation occurs by the interaction within a crystal by light temperature and the absorption of thin film with Ti as buffer layer is increased. It is found that the peak of dielectric constant value of Ti/SrTiO₃thin film has low values and is appeared late and as dipole which is found in dielectric is shown, the experiment satisfies the theory. In the nature of dielectric constant by photon energy, imaginary value is higher and current variation slope of thin film of thick SrTiO₃has lower values in reverse bias.

장상피화생과 Helicobactor pylori와의 상관 관계에 관한 연구

In 1965 Lauren divided advanced gastric carcinoma into two main types-namely, "intestinal" and "diffuse" type carcinoma, which differ not only morphologically but also in their clinical and epidemiological characteristics. Moreover, a different histogenetic process has been postulated by many authors that intestinal type gastric carcinoma might arise from areas with intestinal metaplasia. Since Warren and Marshall reported the presence of Helicobacter pylori in the stomach in 1983, strong evidence has been obtained that there is a close relationship between Helicobacter pylori and chronic gastritis, atrophic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia, and intestinal type gastric carcinoma. To study the relationship between intestinal metaplasia and Helicobacter pylori infection, we performed gastroscopic biopsies and CLO tests taken from patients with epigastric pain. Only 87 patients with macroscopically suspected antral gastritis were included. The prevalence of intestinal metaplasia in gastric antral biopsies increased from 33.3% in the age group<30 years to 63.6% in the age group 60 years. When all patients were divided into two age groups-namely, (i)<50 years(n=41) and (ii)≥ 50 years(n-=46), intestinal metaplasia was found significantly more often in patients ≥ 50 years. ((i) 39.2%, (ii) 54.3%, p<0.0001). The prevalence of Helicobacter pylori in gastric antral biopsies decreased from 66.7% in the age group<30 years to 62.5%, in the age group in the age group 50 to 59 years. When all patients were divided into the same two age groups-namely(i)<50 years and (ii)≥50 years, the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori did not differ between two groups in a statistically significant way. The mean age of intestinal metaplasia positive patients who were also Helicobacter pylori positive was 48±11.0(mean±S.D.)years, whereas the mean age of intestinal metaplasia positive patients who were Helicobacter pylori negative was 52±9.7(mean±S.D.)years. In conclusion. although our data do not prove a causal relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and the histogenesis of intestinal metaplasia, we suggest that Helicobacter pylori plays an important role in the development of intestinal metaplasia in the gastric mucosa. Whether Helicobacter pylori has to be present at all times during this process or is only necessary as a 'trigger', needs further research.

건드릴가공의 절삭성에 대한 연구〔Ⅰ〕

Gundrilling is a key process in deep hole machining which for example, occupye 20~30 percentage on the mild die machining. Recently, according to popularization of NC machine and machining center, Gundrilling's high efficient processing is powerfully required. This paper deal with enperimental research on the machinahility of gundrilling. We obsersed on the cutting power and variety of machined hole diameter in case various materials such as SM20C SM45C SUS304 and gundrill's configurations and cutting oil. The main results are obtained as follows : 1. Machining torque and thrust are well approached MILTON C, SHAW'S theorectical eq. at feed range 0.015~0.02mm/rev. 2. Total machining condition is good at feed range 0.015~0.02mm/rev. 3. Mean hump ratio is founded 1.47~16 in torque 1.03~2.27 in thrust. 4. When gundrill's cutting angle is near 30。-20。removal chip is normally formed.

白石 詩의 '산'의 空間 認識

The purpose of this study is to observe the attitude to the recognition of space reflected in t symbolic type of 'Mountain' of Pack Suck's poetry. Pack Suck was a poet to portray our national experience of the inner life, figuring the folk and local materials in the poetical form. The folk and local motives of his poems make us recognize the instinctive world of our life warmly, overcoming the loss of our national identity. This is due to his awareness of local dialect similar to 'More's Great Power'. His poetic cognitive world is based on the local space of his birthplace around the district of Pyungbook located deep in his inner life. Such local emotions are likely to topple toward the sentimental localism, but his poems try to overcome such a danger. He has the poetic intention to figure the reality to remind our national instinctive emotion rather than romantic cognition yearning for the local world of his birthplace. Basically in his poetic cognitive world, such symbolic types of 'Mountain' as 'Hill', 'Mountain Slope', 'Secluded Place', 'Mountain Path' form his imagination chiefly. The symbolic recognition of 'Mountain' in our poetry is a symbolic of 'Chosun Spirit', or shows the recognition of spiritual world through the vertical ascension, but Peak Suck's recognition of the space of 'Mountain' shows the intention to figure the spiritual world of the folk and local life through horizontal cognition. Well, I would like to summarize his recognition of the space reflected in such spatial types of 'Mountain' as 'Hill', 'Mountain Slope', 'Secluded Place', 'Mountain Path', and conclude as follows: i) His recognition of space, 'Hill', shows the recognition of folk and local life against 'Gazrang Hill'. 'Gooksudang Hill' in such poems as “Gazrangjip”, “Old Woman like a Tiger in the House beyond the Hill”. This cognitive attitude has the spatial symbolic meaning that 'Hill' is the living place as a background of folk and local life connected from village to village. ii) If the folk and local recognition of 'Hill' is an imaginative expression of recollection and childhood-experience, the spatial recognition of 'Mountain Slope' is mainly a narrative recognition of real life. The spatial recognition of 'Mountain Slope', in which a narrative real life roots, contains the recognition of the poor life and the reality of nothern emotion at that time in such poems as “Goya”(=Bygone Night), “Nun”, “Jeongju Castle”, “Sambang”. iii) 'Secluded Place', the spatial type of 'Mountain' appears as a space showing our national universal recognition of life in his “Mountain Valley”, “Mountain Lodging”, “Banquet Music”, “White Birch”. Such a recognition of “Mountain Valley”implies the spirit of folk's life as a space of our national archetypal life. iv) If 'Hill', 'Mountain Slope', 'Secluded Place' are an imagination forming our national archetypal life through the retrospective recognition of life, “Mountain Path”, “Mountain”contain the recognition of the world of self-recovery. His spatial recognition of “Mountain Path”, “Mountain” operates as strong sensible space for self-recovery injured from a nomadic life in “Me, Natacia and White Donkey”, “Stadium Way”, “Shi-bong Park Ryudong Southern Shineuju”.

맥주맥 F_1세대의 조합능력 검정

맥주맥의 이면교잡에 의한 F_1세대에 대한 조합능력을 검정한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 8개 형질에 대한 GCA, SCA, RCA효과를 검정한 바 조합능력은 전 형질에서 GCA, SCA, RCA가 모두 유의하였는데 간장, 수장, 망장, 간직경, 곡핍폭, 1수립수 1000립중은 GCA가 SCA보다 크고, 품종간 GCA효과는 진양보리가 간장에서 부(-)이고, 삼도보리가 수장·망장·간직경·1000립중에서, 사천6호가 망장과 간직경에서, 진광보리가 곡립장에서, 두산29호가 곡립폭·1수립수·1000립중에서 각각 정(+)으로 높았다. SCA효과에서 수장은 두산29호×두산8호 조합이, 망장은 진양보리×두산29호 조합이, 간직경은 사천6호×진광보리 조합이, 곡립장은 진양보리×두산8호 조합이, 곡립폭은 진광보리×두산8호 조합이, 1수립수는 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 1000립중은 사천6호×두산8호 조합 및 두산29호×두산8호 조합이 각각 정으로 높았고, 간장은 삼도보리×진광보리 조합이 부로서 높았다. RCA효과에서 수장은 두산8호×남향보리 조합이, 망장은 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 간직겨은 사천6호×진양보리 조합이, 곡립장은 사천6호×진광보리 조합이, 곡립폭은 진양보리×삼도보리 조합이, 1수립수는 사천6호×두산29호 조합이, 1000립중은 진양보리×두산29호 조합이 각각 정으로 높았고, 간장은 사천6호×두산29호 조합이 부로서 높았다. Seven barley varieties in F_1 generation of the possible crosses among them were used to estimate the combining ability for eight characters, i.e., culm length, spike length, awn length, culm diameter, grain length, grain width, number of grains per spike and 1000 grains weight. Data for F_1 hybrid and parents were subjected to the analysis method proposed by Griffing. The results obtained were summarized as follows. mean squares of general combining ability(GCA), specific combining ability(SCA) and reciprocal combining ability(RCA) were significant for all characters observed. Mean squares of GCA were higher than those of SCA and RCA in culm length, spike length, awn length, culm diameter, grain width, number of grains per spike and 1000 grains weight. Variety Dusan#29 showed the highest GCA effect for number of grains per spike and positively high effects of GCA were observed from variety Samdo bori in spike length, awn length, culm diameter, 1000 grains weight, and from variety Jinkwang bori I grain length, from Dusan#29 in grain width, umber of grains per spike, 1000 grains weight. Also Jinyang bori showed negatively high GCA effect in culm length. In SCA effects, hybrids in Jinyang bori × Samdo bori were exhibited positively high for number of grains per spike and high SCA effects for 1000 grins weight were found positively in Sacheun#6×Dusan#8 and Dusan#29×Dusan#. In RCA effects, hybrids in Sacheun#6×Dusan#29 were exhibited positively high for number of grains per spike and high RCA effects for 1000 grains weight were found positively in Jinyang bori×Dusan#29.
