Aiming at analyzing the power flow of the distribution systems with distribution transformer (DT) branches and PV nodes, a hybrid three-phase power flow methodology is presented in this paper. The incidence formulas among node voltages, loop currents and node current injections have been developed based on node-branch incidence matrix of the distribution network. The method can solve the power flow directly and has higher efficiency. Moreover, the paper provides a modified method to model DT branches by considering winding connections, phase shifting and off-nominal tap ratio, and then DT branches could be seen like one transmission line with the proposed power flow method. To deal with the PV nodes, an improved approach to calculate reactive power increment at each PV node was deduced based on the assumption that the positive-sequence voltage magnitude of PV node is fixed at a given value. Then during calculating the power flow at each iteration, it only needs to update current injection at each PV node with the proposed algorithm. The process is very simple and clear. The results of IEEE 4 nodes and the modified IEEE 34 nodes test feeders verified the correctness and efficiency of the proposed hybrid power flow algorithm.

Background: As an important member of centromere family, centromere associated protein N (CENPN) was abnormally expressed in varied malignant tumors. Objective: This paper aimed to analyze the expression and related mechanism of CENPN in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). Methods: The expression of CENPN in LUAD was analyzed by Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis (GEPIA) database. The mRNA expression, protein expression, cell viability, cell invasion, cell apoptosis, cell stem like characteristics were detected by RT-PCR, western blot, CCK8 assay, transwell assay, flow cytometry and spheroidization assay, respectively. Finally, the pathological changes of xenograft were estimated by H&E staining, and the expression of proteins was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results: GEPIA analysis showed that the CENPN expression in LUAD was significantly higher than that in normal lung tissue, which was negatively correlated with the prognosis. These results were consistent with our clinical data. Besides, CENPN was highly expressed in LUAD cell lines. In addition, the upregulation of CENPN amplified the cell viability, stemness and invasive ability in PC9 cells. However, the knockdown of CENPN inhibited the cell activity, stemness, invasive ability with increased cell apoptosis in A549. Furthermore, CENPN could positively regulate the phosphorylation of PI3K and AKT. The PI3K inhibitor, 740Y-P, could reverse the effect of CENPN silencing on the expression of Ki-67, cleaved caspase 3, OCT4, and snail 1. Finally, the downregulation of CENPN restrained the growth of xenograft and inactivated the PI3K/AKT pathway. Conclusion: CENPN was abnormally overexpressed in LUAD, and promoted tumor progression of LUAD by affecting PI3K/AKT pathway.

The widespread adoption of social media has, in turn, ushered in a novel public domain conducive to the advancement of women’s issues. The amalgamation of technological prowess and heightened accessibility has propelled women’s issues within the realm of social media into the spotlight. The mechanism for generating discourse surrounding women’s issues continues to evolve through discourse practices and self-empowerment initiatives.In addressing this, it becomes essential to foster collaboration among various stakeholders and to enhance media literacy. This collective effort will contribute to the meaningful reconstruction of the value system pertaining to women’s issues within the context of the public sphere. The advent and utilization of communication media have exerted a profound impact on the gender dynamics of society. Communication media not only define modes of communication but also shape the transmission of ideologies, social norms, and values, all of which significantly influence individuals’ thought processes and communication dynamics. Traditional media historically portrayed women in a manner that aligned with prevailing aesthetics in a predominantly male-dominated society. The advent of the Internet has heralded a transformation in both the content and methodology of communication. This transformation has dismantled the notion of information senders holding exclusive access to data, instead fostering a more egalitarian communication environment where both men and women enjoy equal opportunities for discourse at a technical level. This evolution has gradually shifted women from being passive subjects of discourse to active agents with a voice in shaping events.

The genetic basis of metabolic pathways that operate during fruit ripening needs to be understood before the nutritional value of the banana can be improved. The banana is a typical starch conversion fruit, and β-amylase is a key enzyme that may play an important role in starch degradation during the ripening process. Musa acuminata β-amylase 9b (MaBAM9b) is closely related to starch degradation. However, its exact function in starch degradation has not been demonstrated in banana. Stable genetic transformation to identify gene function is a time- and energy-consuming process. Thus, an efficient and rapid method is needed for functional identification. Virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) is a reverse-genetics method based on RNA-mediated antiviral plant defense that has been used to rapidly identify gene functions in plants. The aim of this study was to optimize a transient VIGS system and functionally elucidate MaBAM9b in postharvest banana fruit. Using 2- to 4-mm-thick fruit slices, vacuum infiltration of suspensions of Agrobacterium strains carrying TRV1 and TRV2-MaBAM9b, 0.5% iodine-potassium-iodide (I2-KI) staining for 150 s, and 1:3 TRV1:TRV2-MaBAM9b cultivation at 30 mmHg for 30 s achieved an optical density (OD) of 0.8 at 600 nm; after being incubated on Murashige and Skoog (MS) media for 5 days (d), starch degradation was efficiently suppressed during postharvest banana fruit ripening, as determined by I2-KI staining, total starch content, β-amylase activity, soluble sugar content, and endogenous MaBAM9b expression. The system described here is particularly useful for studying genes and networks involved in starch conversion in fruits, which alone would not produce a visual phenotype. This system will provide a platform for functional genomics and fruit quality improvement in banana.
