연구목적: 본 연구는 다문화의 이론적·정책적 논리성과 문화적 공존과정 또는 상태에서 발생하는 사회갈등적 요인들을 살펴보고, 문화의 비동화적 요인에 의한 사회안보 현상을 살펴보는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법: 기 발표된 연구결과나 관련 문헌 및 역사적 자료 등을 토대로 문헌연구 방법으로 진행되었으며, 문화적 갈등관계와 공존성에 대한 문화의 사회적 역할에 대한 연구접근을 하고 있다. 특히 상호인정과 공존을 표방하는 다문화주의의 정책적 논리성에 대한 구조주의적 관점에서 사회적 수용의 문제를 제기하고 있다. 결론: 다문화주의는 다양한 문화의 차별없는 공존을 표방한다. 그러나 차별없는 공존은 유입문화의 정착을 촉진하면서 문화적 분리를 형성하고 사회를 구조화시킴으로 문화영역간 갈등을 유발시킨다. 다양한 문화는 주류와 비주류로 분류되어 문화적 종속관계를 형성하기도 하며. 이는 문화간 갈등과 마찰로 표면화되어 사회안보에 영향을 미친다. Pupose: The purpose of this study examines the theoretical and policy logic of multiculturalism and social conflict factors that arise in the process or state of cultural coexistence. And it aims to look at the social security phenomenon caused by the cultural immobilization factor. Methods: This study based on previously published research results, related literature and historical data, it was conducted in a literature research method. It is taking a research approach on the social role of culture in relation to cultural conflict and coexistence. In particular, it raises the issue of social acceptance from a structuralist perspective on the policy logic of multiculturalism, which stands for mutual recognition and coexistence. Conclusion: Multiculturalism stands for the coexistence of various cultures without discrimination. However, coexistence without discrimination promotes the settlement of influent cultures, creates cultural separation, and structure society, leading to conflict between cultural domains. Various cultures are classified into mainstream and non-mainstream, forming cultural subordination. This comes to the fore as conflict and friction between cultures and affects social security.
