한국에서 임산균주로부터 분리한 테트라사이클린(Tc) 내성 플라스미드 pKH6의 전체 염기서열을 결정하여 가장 대표적인 Tc 내성 플라스미드인 pT181과 비교하였다. pKH6의 전체 길이는 4439bp로 pT181과 동일하게 나타났으며 염기서열은 7개의 염기에서 차이를 보였다. 전부 다 염기쌍이 치환된 형태로 나타났으며 그 중 3개는 coding 부위에서 일어났다. coding 부위에서 일어난 경우에도 1개는 동일한 아미노산을 coding 하였기 때문에 pT181과 차이가 없었으며 RepC와 Pre 단백질에 있어 각각 1개의 아미노산에서 차이를 나타내었다. The complete nucleotide sequence of pKH6, a tetracycline-resistance (Tc^r) plasmid isolated from multi-drug resistant Staphlococcus aureus SA2, has been determined and compared with that of the staphylococcal Tc^r plasmid pT181. The nucleotide sequences of the two plasmids are in agreement except for 7 nucleotides. All differences are caused by base pair substitutions. Among 6 substitutions, 3 occurred in coding regions. However, only tow base substitutions in coding regions resulted in changes of amino acid sequences in two different ORFs of repC and Pre proteins.
벼(Oryza sativa L.)의 지상부로부터 adenosine과 phlomuroside의 분리 및 동정

벼 지상부를 MeOH 수용액으로 추출하고 이 추출물을 n-hexane, EtOAc, n-BuOH, 및 H2O 분획으로 나누었다. n-BuOH 분획에 대하여 silica gel, ODS 및 Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography 를 반복실시 하여 2종의 화합물을 분리하였다. NMR, IR 및 MS data를 해석하여 각각 adenosine (1)과 phlomuroside (2)로 구조동정 하였다. 이들 화합물들은 벼에서는 처음으로 분리되었다. Fresh and chopped aerial parts of Oryza sativa were extracted in 80% aqueous mehthanol, and the concentrated extract was successively partitioned in n-hexane, ethyl acetate (EtOAc), n-butanol (n-BuOH), and H2O fractions. From the n-BuOH fraction, two compounds were isolated through repeated silica gel and ODS column chromatography (c.c.). Based on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectrometry and infrared spectroscopy spectroscopic data, the compounds were identified to be adenosine (1) and phlomuroside (2). Especially, the configuration of both the anomer hydroxyl groups was determined as β from the coupling constants of the anomer protons (J =6.0 and 7.6 Hz) in the 1H-NMR spectra. This is the first report for the isolation of these compounds from Oryza sativa L.

본 논문에서는 데이터베이스 관리자를 대상으로 한 안드로이드용 SQL*Plus 원격접속 애플리케이션을 개발하였다. 기존의 PC를 이용해 DB에 접근할 수밖에 없었던 시간적, 공간적 제약을 극복하는데 목적이 있으며 직관적인 UI와 여러 기능을 통해 사용자에게 편의를 제공하고자 한다.
An Improved and Efficient Method for Cosmid Cloning

A general improved procedure for preparation of a cosmid library based on the use of a pBLcosT vector was described. The vector was modified to contain 2 tandem Xcml sites and was digested with Xcml to yield 2 terminal 3'T overhangs, capable of ligation with the insert that contains 2 terminal complementary 3'A overhangs. The resultant ligation mixture was packaged and a cosmid library in Escherichia coli was established.

Rapid Single flux quantum (RSFQ) confluence buffer is widely used in complex superconductive digital circuits. In this work, we have improved the currently used confluence buffer and obtained a more soundly designed confluence buffer. In simulations, improvements in the bias margins of 11 % and the global margins of 10%, compared to the previously used confluence buffer, were achieved. Global margins are very important in estimating a process error range allowed in fabrications. We used two circuit simulation tools, WRspice and Julia, to design and optimize the confluence buffer. We used Xic to obtain a mask layout. We fabricated the improved circuits by using Nb technology. The test results at low frequency showed that the improved confluence buffer operated correctly and had a very wide main bias margin of +/-43% enhanced from +/-26% of the previously used confluence buffer.
