We analyzed the small-scale purse-seine gear that is used along the North Coast of Java, Indonesia, using computer-aided tools to modify the gear. Data from the middle position of the leadline showed that the maximum depth reached by the net was 30 m. A similar result was also calculated. According to the calculated result, the mean sinking speed of the current gear at the middle position of the leadline was 0.13 m/s, and the maximum tension during pursing was 1,794 kgf. The best sinking performance was found in modified gear that used a 30.3 mm mesh knotless polyester net. The maximum depth reached by the net was 38 m, and mean sinking speed was 0.16 m/s at the middle position of the leadline. The maximum tension during pursing was 1,044 kgf. Independent sample t-test results show that the mean sinking depth and sinking speed in the simulated and measured results did not differ (P > 0.05). These results are expected to improve the efficiency and selectivity of small-scale purse seine gear.

This study investigates the role of green perceived value, green trust and perceived quality on the adoption behavior of green consumers. A survey was conducted using a sample of 188 respondents and a partial least squares approach was used to validate the research model. The research results show that both green perceived value and perceived quality have a direct influence on green purchase intention. Green trust also mediates the relationship between green perceived value and green purchase intention, which in turn predicts the purchase behavior of green products. The research results indicate that the drivers of green product adoption are represented by green perceived value, green trust, and perceived quality. Marketers should be putting more emphasis in this relatively new approach of green marketing strategies to induce purchase and adoption of green products by creating competitive advantages for the company.

말레이시아는 2020년에 고소득 국가를 목표로 경제성장을 위한 정부 변혁 프로그램을 계획하고 실행하고 있다. 정부 변혁 프로그램의 성공을 위한 선결 과제로는 환경 교육과 녹색성장이 있다. 환경 교육과 녹색성장을 달성하기 위해 말레이시아는 ‘국가 녹색 기술 정책’ 을 2009년 이후 시행하고 있다. 이 정책의 취지는 훈련과 교육 프로그램을 통해 인적 자원을 강화 하는 것이다. 또한 2002년에는 말레이시아는 포괄적 환경 교육을 도입하는 국가 정책을 시행하였다. 이러한 국가 정책의 기반을 마련하기 위해 말레이시아 교육부는 교과, 교과 외 과정에서 녹색 성장의 중요성을 강조하고, 환경 교육을 위한 교사들의 가이드북을 배포하는 등의 노력을 하고 있다. 특히 과학교육에서 경력 및 전문교육은 강력하고 폭넓은 교육시스템을 위한 지식공유의 방법으로써 말레이시아는 녹색성장의 목표달성이라는 과제를 APEC가입국 간의 교육적 협력을 통해 달성하길 기대하고 있다. Malaysia has pushed for a low-carbon economy through the National Green Technology policy, launched in 2009. Purpose of this policy is intensifying human capital development through training and education programmes. In 2002, Malaysia also introduced a National Policy on the Environment aims at a continued economic, social and cultural progress for Malaysia and enhancement of the quality of lives of its people through environmentally sound sustainable development. Convention of experts from member countries, particularly on career and technical education and the green economy and, on science education to learn from one another is also an avenue for knowledge sharing in order to strengthen education systems in the region.
Nonlinear Model Predictive Path-Following for Mecanum-Wheeled Omnidirectional Mobile Robot

This paper presents a control framework to drive a mecanum-wheeled omnidirectional mobile robot (MWOMR) to reach and follow a given path. To this end, a nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) for the path following problem is designed such that the robot moves along the path while all the physical constraints are satisfied. For the purpose of implementing the state feedback NMPC, the robot is equipped with three types of sensor to get the robot position. All those information are managed on embedded systems with ROS (Robot Operating System). The control performance is evaluated for several paths and both cases for fixed and varying heading directions are tested. The simulation and experiment results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed robot control framework.
