확장된 회화로서의 디지털 사진 연구

디지털 기술의 발달로 인해서 예술은 종래 없던 변화를 맞고 있다. 그것은 마치 사진이 처음 발명되었을 때와 비슷하다. 사진은 예술로 인정받기 위해 노력하고 회화는 사진에게 빼앗긴 재현의 자리를 놔두고 새로운 미술로서 고군분투해야 했기 때문이다. 디지털 사진의 출현으로 사진은 더 이상 세상을 찍는 객관적인 기록물이 될 수 없었다. 조작이 가능한 이미지는 그림과 같아서 마치 사진이 예술로 인정받으려고 회화를 닮으려던 초창기 픽토리얼 사진들을 생각나게 한다. 그러나 디지털로 만들어진 회화는 단순히 캔버스와 물감이 모니터와 소프트웨어로 대체된 것은 아니다. 픽셀들로 이루어진 디지털 매체는 이전의 사진도 회화도 아닌, 새로운 전자 페인팅의 가능성을 가지고 있다. 본고에서는 사진과 회화의 경계가 와해되는 포스트모던 회화를 살펴보고, 그러한 바탕 위에서 디지털 회화가 가지고 있는 포스트모던 회화의 개념들을 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 그러기 위해서 회화와 사진의 위계를 없앴던 대형 사진의 타블로 형식을 알아보고, 모더니즘에서 철저히 외면 받았던 알레고리가 포스트모더니즘에서 부활한 작품들을 분석하였다. 언급하였듯, 회화는 새로운 기술들이 도래할 때마다 그 개념들을 확인하고 확장해 왔다. 사진과 회화의 영역이 흐려진지 오래된 포스트모던의 시대에, 디지털 기술이 그려내는 이미지들이 회화로 불리는 지점에서 오히려 무엇을 회화로 부를 수 있는가를 고찰하는 것이 본고의 의의라 하겠다. The world of art is experiencing unprecedented changes due to rapid development in digital technology, resembling the time when photography was first invented. As photography strived to be recognized as a type of art, painting had to look for a new place after losing its position to represent objects. With the advent of digital photography, photos could not continue to be the objective record of the world. Editable images are like paintings, like the early-day pictorial photos seeking to resemble paintings to be recognized as art. Digitally created paintings do not merely mean that canvas and paint have been replaced by monitor and software. Digital media consisting of pixels has the potential of new electronic painting, not the analog photography or painting. This paper aims to closely look at post modern paintings when the boundaries between photos and paintings became blurry and study the concepts of post modern paintings that digital paintings have. For this research object, the tableau-form of big-sized photography were studied, as well as the post modern art pieces with allegories, which were thoroughly unnoticed in the modern era. As stated above, the field of painting has been investigating and expanding the technology of new concepts every time a new one makes appearance. The purpose of this paper is to contemplate what can be called a painting in this era of postmodernism, an era with an unclear boundary between photos and painting and the time when images created by digital technology are called paintings.

Modern Korean literature has been developed under the influence of western literature since it was introduced to Korea about one hundred years ago, and from such a viewpoint of comparative literature it is necessary for us to study on eroticism and aestheticism of the Korean novels and English ones. For this purpose I chose D. H. Lawrence and Oscar Wilde as two English novelists, and Yi Hyo Suk and Kim Dong In as the Korean ones respectively. There are many similarities of eroticism in Lawrence’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover and Yi Hyo Suk’s “The Buckwheat Season”. There are common factors in human, nature, and sex, and they are commonly characterized by the images of animals, moon and flowers. The mare has the common image of the vital life in nature, and the moon plays a major role in their techniques as the archtype image of fertility. Flowers are symbols of the living, mysterious forces of nature. In evaluating their works the merits of Yi’s literature might fall short of Lawrence’s one from the viewpoint of setting, depth, width and probabilities not as a worldly writer but as a local writer. Wilde is a representative of aestheticism literature in the history of English Literature. He was against Victorian vulgar materialism and moralism, and insisted on estheticism that art was superior to ethics. Yi Hyo Suk who wrote “Pollen” and Kim Dong In who wrote “Gwangyeom Sonata” and “Gwangwhasa” were influenced by Wilde’s aesthetic works such as “Salome” as one of his best plays and the Picture of Dorian Gray as the long novel. They share many common factors from the literary point of view: decadence, hedonism, and homosexualism. Compared with Wilde’s aestheticism, that of Yi and Kim is nothing but Wilde’s superficial imitation under the Korean narrow circumstances.

In this essay, I wish to explore the literary world of Thomas Hardy, particularly Tess of D`Urbervilles that is one of his representative works from the feministic point of view, using the approaching ways of dualism in the analysis of his literary world. It has been noted that the most striking feature of Lawrence`s literary world is its dualism which is composed of two polarities of dark and light that symbolize spirit and flesh respectively. These central principles of his aesthetics are expressed in his various essays, particularly in "Study of Thomas Hardy." So I analyze Tess through Lawrence`s literary thoughts in this essay. Angel and Alec represent male and female principles respectively, whereas Tess, the heroine of this work, is the third type character of half-dark properties who contains two principles. Many scholars have studied Hardy`s works from the viewpoint of immanent will as the agent of tragedies in which the protagonists are ruined due to their character, circumstances, and coincidences. But to examine them, particularly Tess, from the feminist point of view be more useful. In this respect, the heroine of this work stands out because she could successfully overcome many difficulties that she had faced even though she was a woman and became the victim of the destiny.

  The most striking feature of Lawrence’s literary world is its dualism, and he sets out his concept of duality in terms of the male and female principles, and it becomes not only a focus of Lawrence’s thought but also the central principles of his aesthetics. His dualistic world is composed of two polarities of dark and light which symbolized spirit and flesh respectively. These two polarized worlds are always prone to seek balance, or conciliation in the state of conflicts and fights. Paradoxically the perfect balance of the fight is the ontological way of his dualistic elements. These two worlds come to fulfil balance by means of a spark of Holy Ghost, namely sexual union of man and woman. There are many common factors between Lawrence’s dualism and the Oriental one of dark and light.   The Oriental dualism in the Book of Changes and Tao Te Ching is composed of the two cosmic elements, dark and light. These two elements seek integration by way of confrontation and change. Such an integration and harmony of the universe is governed by Taeguk or Tao that is the source of generation of the cosmos. There is a parallel between the two principles of the East and West in that the two polarized worlds seek balance by means of Holy Ghost in Lawrence, and Taeguk or Tao in the East which have similar properties to govern them. It has been noted by many scholars of the two worlds that they share one thing in common: binary properties of dark and light. It is worth studying about it in order to improve the understanding between the two worlds.

채권의 볼록성과 시간가치가 기대 투자수익률에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

일반적으로 채권의 볼록성은 투자수익률에 유익한 영향을 미치리라는 입장에서 상대적으로 볼록성이 작은 뷸랫 포트폴리오를 매도하고 변동성이 큰 바벨 포트폴리오를 매입하는 변동성 매입전략을 추천한다. 그러나 이러한 주장은 수익률 변화가 정태적이고 확정적인 상황에서의 분석 결과에 기초한 것으로 확률적 지배관계를 인정하는 입장이다. 그러나 수익률 변화가 확률적인 경쟁적 시장에서는 그러한 상태의 존재는 불가능하다. 이를 규명하기 위해 보다 현실적인 동태적 확률 수익률과정을 전제로 하여 본 연구에서는 채권의 볼록성이 무차익 균형 상태에서는 균형 수익률의 감소를 가져오게 됨을 보이고, 그로 인해 볼록성과 시간가치가 채권의 기대 투자수익률에 미치는 영향을 이론적으로 도출하였다. Most straight bonds(ones with no imbedded options) have a convex price-yield curve. In general it is believed bonds with high convexity are desirable than bonds with low convexity. So buying convexity strategy, which buys barbell portfolio with high convexity and simultaneously sells bullet portfolio with low convexity, is often recommended. This imply the existence of stochastic dominance relationship i.e. the opportunity of arbitrage, which is not possible in the competitive markets. In particular Hull(2005) described the effect of the convexity on the performance of bond investments to result in the stochastic dominance relationship in Fig. 5.3. The purpose of this study is to explain the performance of two portfolios using the stochastic differentiation technique(Ito,s lemma) introduced recently in finance. We can consider both time and risk dimension with this technique to analyse the rngl world which the traditional approach lackrman. This study uses a single factor stochastic ir both rate profors to find the equilibrium yield. In summary because the convexity is not free it must be reflected to decrease the equilibrium yield which is used to discount the bond‘s cashflows so to increase the current price. This study shows the result under the condition of no arbitrage, which means the stochastic dominance relationship can not exist.
