Respiration rates can be computed from photo-plethysmography(PPG). Motion artifact and the influence of other physiological parameters make accurate measurement difficult, however. Methods of improving the accuracy were presented PPG measurement on the pit of stomach produced better results compared with that on a finger which is the normal site for PPG measurement, Further improvement was made by choosing bandpass filtering with a sharper roll-off rate such as the Chebyshev.

According to the report from CSB(Chemical Safety Board) in U.S., accidental explosions occurred in petrochemical facilities had led to mass casualties and business loss over the past few decades. New paradigm for the process control on the facility design is necessary to prevent and mitigate the risk from hazard of the facilities. Three kinds of technology for a safety of the facility are presented in this paper, resulting from the research project that is carried out by KIMM(Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials). They are the risk based design and analysis, development of condition monitoring system on main equipments and the virtual reality technology for training against virtual accidents. The objective, technical road map and final goals of the research project are addressed in a detail manner.
표준품셈의 기계경비 산정 현실화를 위한 자료 조사.분석 -불도우저와 로우더를 중심으로-

건설공사 표준품셈 기계경비 부분은 1960년대 초 일본 및 미국의 자료를 근간으로 하여 제정된 이후, 극히 부분적으로만 제 개정되었을 뿐 그 동안의 건설기계와 공법의 발전을 반영하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 합리적인 기계경비 산출을 위해 불도우저와 로우더를 중심으로 국내 외 문헌조사, 건설현장 16개소 실사, 그리고 건설기계장비 임대업체 20개사를 대상으로 설문조사 및 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 수집한 자료와 현행 표준품셈의 기계경비 산출에 적용되는 수치들을 비교 분석한 결과, 관리비는 금리와 보험료를 고려하여 6종건설기계와 일반기계를 구분하여 현실적인 수치를 제시하였으며; 운전경비는 조수를 삭제하는 것이 현실적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주연료 및 잡재료는 현행수준이 적정하지만 장비가격은 상향조정할 필요가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 논문에서 제시하고 있는 각종 자료 및 수치들은 건설기계와 기술의 급속한 발전을 예정가격산정의 기준에 적용할 수 있는 기초가 될 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 관련 연구의 토대가 될 수 있으리라 기대한다. The Equipment Expenses section of the Poom-Saem that is used for Construction Cost Estimation of public sectors in Korea has been rarely revised, and so does not reflect changes of Construction Equipment technology and construction methods, since it was established based on data from Japan and the U.S in the early 1960s. In order to make reasonable estimation of equipment expenses for a bulldozer and a loader, the domestic and overseas documentary records were investigated. Further, 16 construction sites were visited, and 20 Construction Equipment leasing services were surveyed. The optimum level of each item which consists of equipment costs was revealed based on the result of the analysis on the figures of equipment costs calculation from the Poom-Saem and the collected data. The research will be the foundation for applying the rapid development of Construction Equipment and technology to the appropriate cost estimations and the ground work of related studies.

건설공사 예정가격을 산정하는데 사용되는 표준품셈의 기계경비산정시스템은 종합건설업자가 직접 장비를 보유하여 운영한 60년대초에 기계손료 및 운전경비를 근거로 산정토록 제정되어, 대부분의 건설기계가 시공업체의 직접운영 보다는 장비임대업체를 통하여 임대 형태로 현장에 투입되고 있는 현재의 건설산업 운영실태를 반영하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 실제 현장에서 운용되고 있는 건설기계의 임대단가를 실적자료로 활용하기 위해 반드시 필요한 사용자 편익을 고려한 현실적인 건설기계경비 산정시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 대표적인 건설기계 7기종 9규격(굴삭기 무한궤도($0.2m^3$), 굴삭기 타이어($1.0m^3$), 덤프트럭(15ton, 25ton), 진동롤러(자주식 4.4ton), 크레인 무한궤도(50ton, 300ton), 아스팔트피니셔(3m), 콘크리트펌프카($80m^3/hr$))을 선정하고 전국 217개 임대사업체 및 건축 토목현장 11곳을 대상으로 지역별 및 임대유형별 임대료를 현장방문 및 면담을 통해 조사 분석하였다. 임대기반 건설기계경비 산정시스템은 사용자가 건설기계의 종류, 규격 및 임대유형을 선택하여 해당 기계의 전체지역 평균 임대료 및 각 지역별 임대료를 편리하게 열람 할 수 있도록 기반을 제공함으로써 건설공사 예정가격산정기준 및 관련 연구의 기초가 될 수 있으리라 기대한다. The current estimation system of construction equipment cost was first introduced in 1960's when general contractors had ownership of equipment. However, most of construction equipment in construction sites has been rented from equipment leasing company these days. Therefore, the improvement of current cost estimation system is therefore inevitable in order to advance domestic construction industry. This study is aimed to suggest the improved system by analyzing nationwide market rental rates of major construction equipment. A user friendly prototype of actual database grounded on actual market rental rates collected from over 200 leasing companies in the nation was proposed. The database includes various rates and statistics analyzed by different form of contract as well as different region. Using the collected data, "The Cost Estimate System in Construction Equipment Database" was developed by using VBA(Visual Basic for Applications). The system makes users convenient to utilize the rental rates by choosing equipment and region, and various types of contract.

A method for measurement and monitoring of mechanical loads in large slender structures such as wind turbine blade and tower is presented based on continuous strain data obtained from distributed fiber optic sensor. An experimental study was carried out on an aluminum cantilever beam. A static load test was performed and the calculated moment from the distributed fiber optic sensor agree well with the actual applied moment. A series of damages was inflicted on the beam, and vibration tests were carried out for each damage case. The estimated natural frequencies from the distributed fiber optic sensor for each damage case are found to compare well with those from a conventional accelerometer and a numerical analysis based on an energy method.
AHP와 로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용한 공동주택개발사업 참여의사결정 모델 및 영향요인 분석

Large portion of apartment projects are initiated and conducted by developers together with contractors in Republic of Korea. Contractors therefore surely need to have great knowledge about feasibility analysis in order to make right decision on whether or not participate in a project proposed by a developer. However, few contractors have such skill and insight in reality and make the judgement mainly based on experience and intuition of their top management. A decision making model was developed that can be used easily and practically by contractors. Furthermore 109 real project cases were applied into the model and found that the model could help to make right decision with reliability of as high as 85.3 percent. Using scatter plots and logistic regression analysis, a few drivers affecting the decision were also found, namely, "project site", "basic plan", "economic feasibility", "salability’. The results will be a great interest for anyone who wants to make right decision with relatively small efforts.
